“I Am that I Am!” The Head that cannot be removed!

The Vision

God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’” Exodus 3:14

I had an experience a few nights ago that was short, but very clear.  I was suddenly awakened from a sound sleep and as if in a vision, saw the words: “ISIS—the great pretender!” Then I saw “I AM THAT I AM—the Head that cannot be removed!”

It then seemed as if I was in a large city and everywhere I looked, I could see this truth being proclaimed. It was as if a declaration was broadcast throughout the earth and people were beginning to align themselves enthusiastically with the awareness of I AM. I saw IAMIAM emblazoned on peoples’ shirts and on car bumper stickers.

Do Not Be Afraid

Our God Almighty is our Head! There is no terrorist group, no human force, no power or principality that can remove the truth of His headship.  It is time for all of us in the Body of Christ to allow the Holy Spirit to search every aspect of our lives, and reveal anything that is not under submission to the Lordship of our Head—Jesus Christ.  The Spirit is reminding us not to be afraid or do things from a place of fear but out of a longing to have the body completely aligned with the Head.

The fear of the Lord is our safety. It is time to rightly align all that you are doing in ministry, in your homes and in your families with this truth. This is a part of rebuilding the wall that many are prophetically seeing. Just as in the Book of Nehemiah; during the reconstruction of the wall came great threat and opposition. In the spirit we are seeing the rebuilding of the wall around God’s people. We are also seeing great threat and opposition to this. But we must continue to rebuild and realign our lives. Christ is to be the Head of all that we do.

This is a time for the watchmen and gatekeepers to take their place on the wall. It is a time for families and individuals to find the place on the wall that God has called them to and begin to work there. The enemy always goes through holes or gaps in our walls. This is true in the spirit and the natural. The enemy has plotted and looks for gaps in the walls of our nations, our lives and in the Church. He makes threats in order to have us make decisions out of fear rather than waiting on the wisdom of the Lord.  If you read the Book of Nehemiah, the threats were the same. But God gave them strategy, strength, courage and success.

Let us pray and worship as did Israel during that time:

“Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise. You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, and all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You give life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship you…”  Nehemiah 9:6

Peace Be With You

The Lord sits enthroned over the flood; the Lord is enthroned as King forever.
The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:10-11

The Lord is the One who gives us both strength and peace in every situation. If you need peace; ask Him for it. He is our Prince of Peace who is King forever. If we live in the borders of His peace then we will make wise decisions in the days to come. The wisdom of the Lord becomes the clearest in the midst of peace and trust.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

One of the keys to knowing the places that need greater alignment is to look at the places in your life that cause you both fear and anxiety. It is most likely that those areas have not been fully placed into the trusting hands of Jesus. We all have these areas and there is no shame in this; but because of His great love He is inviting you into His peaceful borders with every area, even the ones that have caused you great pain and many sleepless nights. Ask Him to surround those areas with His peace.

His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.

Extol the Lord, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion.

He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.
He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat. Psalm 147:10-14

Let’s pray together…

Father I ask, along with every person reading this, that you would rightly align our lives with You as our Head. You are the great I Am and no one can put an end to Your reign or Your authority. We give you every area that has brought our lives fear and turmoil. We put those areas that have caused our trust in You to waver, back under Your care. We ask that our delight would be in the fear of the Lord and our hope would be in Your unfailing love. Thank you that You surround the borders of our lives with Your peace. We also ask that both joy and wisdom would come as we move forth in peace. We pray for our leaders, our borders, our nations to have peace and safety. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. You are our head and we declare that You are the great I Am.
