5782– Shmita Year: Threshold of Grace

By Kathi Pelton

Rosh Hashanah, the Hebrew New Year, is September 7. September is the ninth month of the year on the Gregorian calendar and the first month of the year on the Hebrew calendar. It is interesting to note that when you put the two together you have both an end and a beginning.

Nine is a number of completion or an end (biblically): Jesus died in the ninth hour of the day. His earthly life and mission to redeem mankind from sin and death was finished and the door of salvation and forgiveness by grace was opened to all.

The number one is symbolic of God: there is one God in heaven and on earth. Jesus’s final prayer before going to the cross is found in John 17:21-23 where he prays that we would be one, even as he and the Father are one. One is also a new beginning, or a threshold, from one season or year to another— a new year.

The Hebrew year that we are entering is 5782. This is a Shmita Year— or a seventh year. The seventh year is a commanded year of rest.

In Deuteronomy 15 we learn that during the Sabbath year debts would be canceled and slaves set free. We are crying out to the Lord to “forgive us our debts” as nations and as people. We have been laboring under the weight of our sins—our debts—as people and as nations that have turned away from God. But there is a remnant throughout the earth that has stood in the gap to humble themselves and pray. The Word of God says that debt makes you a slave to the debt holder, therefore it is interesting that in the Sabbath year debts are canceled and slaves set free.

Many years ago, the Holy Spirit spoke clearly to me about “crossing thresholds” in the spirit. He showed me how there is great opposition whenever God’s people are about to cross into a new land of inheritance and promise. I saw a picture of a bride not being able to enter the doorway into her bridal suite because many violent enemies were standing in her way. Just then I saw the Lord dressed as a bridegroom and he towered over these enemies. He stopped at the threshold to pick up the bride and carry her into the room. As he did this she was lifted above all opposition. She was carried by grace, and face-to-face intimacy, into the fullness of being joined as one with him.

We must understand that the enemy fears the “oneness” that Jesus prayed for in John 17 more than any other thing. Bridal intimacy represents spiritual oneness. Just as the “two become one flesh”, we are brought into oneness with Christ and Jesus intercedes for oneness in the body of Christ to be established.

We stand at a threshold moment—a time where we are to be carried in the arms of intimate grace. You cannot cross this threshold on your own and you were not meant to. This is a time to surrender your strength, your might, and your power to the Lord. It is a “be still and know” season that we are entering, and it is “by his Spirit” that victories will be won and his glory revealed to a world that needs answers and salvation.

We enter the Hebrew year 5782 this week, and in less than three months we will enter the year 2022. The 22nd letter of the Hebrew alphabet is Tav. All the letters in the Hebrew alphabet have numeric value, and the value of Tav is 400. As we know, 400 is a significant threshold number in the Bible that marks ends and beginnings:

• It was after 400 years that the children of Israel were released from being slaves in Egypt.
• There was a 400 year “time of silence” from last of the Old Testament prophets until the birth of Jesus.

It is interesting to see how this Sabbath year aligns with a “400” where debts are paid, slaves set free, his voice is heard, and God’s people are set apart.

Additionally, the letter Tav symbolizes two things: to mark or sign something; and truth.

We are in a time of being “marked.” This is not a demonic marking but a “set apart” marking that says, “This one is Mine!” Just as the children of Israel, living as captives in Egypt, put the blood of the lamb on the doorposts of their homes to mark them as belonging to Yahweh, so that the death angel had to pass by, so there is a marking of the blood of Jesus that identifies you as a son or daughter of Yahweh. Salvation is coming to your household!

We have been marked with the truth that has set us free. I believe this year will mark many people with truth of salvation’s message through the blood of Jesus. Those who have already been saved by Grace are entering a greater surrendering of our strength and a submitting to his strength and power to save. We will be marked by his power and authority as sons and daughters.

The delineation between those marked by the blood and those who demand law and works will become clearer and clearer. Peace, rest, and fruitfulness will be found by those who have “ceased striving” and allowed the arms of the Bridegroom to carry them into his house of blessing and oneness.

This will be a year of crossing out of debt, slavery, striving, and the strength of men. It will be a year of entering into a new rest, freedom, and a “lighter load” (Matthew 11:28-30) as you have been marked by the blood.

Blessings will be poured out upon believer’s homes, houses of worship, and prayer gatherings. The manifest blessing of Psalm 91 will be made known to those who have made the Lord their refuge. Plagues and death will pass by.

Let the first three months of this Jewish New Year set your course for the nine months following as you rest in his strength and his grace. The Lord will renew the soil of your life causing it to be full of health for the planting that is coming.

“Shanah Tovah”

Breaking the Log Jam and Releasing the Flow of Blessings

By Kathi Pelton

Many years ago the Lord spoke to me about a “log jam” that was happening within his people that was stopping the flow of blessings that he had stored up for them. When I asked him what the source of the “log jam” was, he said, “Judgements and offense.”

Then he brought me to Matthew 7:1-2,

“Do not judge, so that you won’t be judged. For with the judgements that you use, you will be judged, and with the measure that you use, it will be measured to you.”

I have always encouraged my physical children and my spiritual children to walk in the fear of the Lord regarding how they honor one another and how they should stay clear of judging one another. And— the moment I become aware of a block of blessings in my life or the life of one of my children, I will first check for one of those “log jams.” I will ask the Holy Spirit to see if I subtly have entered into judgements of another or if I become offended by someone.

Honestly, during these days it would not be a bad idea to do a daily check in with Holy Spirit regarding these things since there is so much to provoke anger, judgements and offense in the atmosphere. Looking into the mirror of God’s insight to see if any logs are present will prevent a potential log jam from occurring.

Recently I was given the honor of walking someone through this very process. This person had observed that nearly every area of their life was hindered and lacked the blessings that are promised to those who believe. I encouraged them to make sure that all judgments, lack of forgiveness, bitterness and accusations were dealt with in their lives. They had just come through a very hard season that would have deeply affected even the strongest of believers. They took my counsel and went to seek the Lord regarding these areas. The Holy Spirit revealed that there was one of those “log jams” in their lives and they repented, forgave, released offenses and cut off the roots of bitterness. Within a week, their entire life began to turn around and the free flow of blessings returned. Amazing!

There are spiritual laws and truths that we all live with that can bless or curse, bring life or death, joy or sorrows. As we daily ask Holy Spirit to search our heart and check our eyes for logs (or specks) we will discover a greater flow of blessings and favor coming upon us.

One of the things that probably grieves my heart the most is the “harsh judgements” that I see happen between people. It can be the harsh judgements toward a stranger (who looks different or acts different) or the critical judgements I see between people who claim to be friends. The most grieving place that I see judgements (and cynicism) is within the church. That should always be a “judgement free zone!”

Of course I am not talking about discernment or the observation of blatant sin (bad fruit) but even then we can walk out the gift of discernment or the correction of a wrong action without judgements— we can judge the fruit as bad without judging the person. But it seems in these days, with all of the divided opinions regarding vaccines, masks and political parties and so much more, that some assume that this has given even the ambassadors of Christ permission to pass judgements and to have a critical spirit. May I just say, “No, it doesn’t! The Word of God never changes.”

We must learn to “believe the best” about other people. We also need to learn that when we have a “friend or brother/sister in Christ” that we are concerned about or who is bearing bad fruit— that we can honor and love them enough to have a conversation with them. This will enable you to hear their heart, understanding their struggle and open a door for you to be an instrument or helping them to get free. You may find that what they are doing stems merely out of a broken area or area of fear that they need someone’s help with.

When the posture of intimately honoring one another is replaced by “standing at a distance” to accuse with harsh judgements; it is then that we have entered a very dangerous place. Those very judgements and that form of measuring another’s life will surely be measured back upon us.

Matthew 7 goes on to say,

“Why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye but don’t notice the log in your own?” (vs. 3)

Did you know that people can actually train their eyes and hearts to be looking for the specks in everyone else’s eyes? God creates us to look for the treasure, the secret garden and the beauty of his image in each person but the enemy seeks to train our eyes to be critical, cynical and judgemental. He knows that this will divide and that it gives him a legal right to send all of those judgments back upon us.

How clever!! It begins subtly but over time a person’s default is only to view life and others through critical judgements and arrogant irritations. Then that person is left to wonder why so many negative things are happening in their lives. It is because they’ve become so far sighted (seeing and judging everyone from afar) that they no longer have the near sightedness that allows them to see the log in their own eye.

If you find your eyes looking at life and others through a critical lens, ask the Holy Spirit to allow you to see your own eyes. Repent for judging others and for measuring them with a rod that is absent of love and grace. Then ask the Lord to release you from the judgements that this has brought upon your life and to help you to remove the “log” from your own eye.

It is time to clear the log jams that are dividing the body and blocking the flow of blessings.

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18

A Baptism of Fire Will Fall and Change Lives and Nations

By Kathi Pelton

This morning at 3 am I woke up with intercession in my mouth for someone that I have not seen in over a decade. I was immediately taken into a vision of the fire of the Holy Spirit being poured into him and baptizing him anew. This fire consumed him, refined him, purified him and awakened him to such a degree that it transformed every area of his life. Joy consumed him so much that it caused everyone around him to receive the overflow.

As the vision of this man continued and the intercession poured out of me, it shifted from this one individual to seeing this happen upon person after person that I know. Some of the people that I saw have been existing with barely an ember of what they once had for the Lord or a spark of what they could have but never has sparked into flame. But this fire came with a wind that fanned the burning embers and the sparked into flame these people’s lives. It baptized every part of them with a consuming love and passion for God. They were set ablaze and transformed to the point that all who knew them were talking about their transformation. This fire was also accompanied by great joy and by favor for success and influence.

As I continued seeing this and interceding in the spirit— suddenly I was taken to see the mass crowds in Afghanistan. As I looked I saw the fire of the Holy Spirit fall upon a man and it ignited him with great joy (and all fear fell away). He began to shout and worship and the fire that was upon him ignited the person next to him and then they ignited another and still another. It was like dry kindling that had been doused with the fuel of desperation and cries for help. The answer came in the form of fire from heaven that revealed Jesus as Savior. People began dancing in the streets without fear for their lives because they were not only baptized by fire but great joy filled their hearts. All they could see was Jesus and they did not fear the Taliban or even losing their lives. The joy of salvation consumed them.

Then I saw massive angelic armies being revealed to the Taliban and those who would seek to harm them. These enemies became so terrified that they turned on one another. It was like watching Gideon’s army as they defeated the mighty Midianites with a shout, a broken jar and a torch of light. The fire that was upon those who were being baptized by the Holy Spirit was like the breaking of the jars to reveal the torches in the story of Gideon’s army (Judges 7).

As I experienced this, it did not feel like merely a vision but a prophesy and a coming reality. The joy that filled my heart and spirit during this time was overwhelming. It was most definitely marked by fire and joy! The joy seemed to remove all fear and despair that had touched these lives. Grieving was replaced by uncontainable joy.

Let’s agree in prayer for a baptism of fire to ignite our loved ones, our friends, the lost and those who have been persecuted. Let us also agree that this fire falls upon those who stand like Saul to bring persecution upon the saints.

“God, send your fire!”

“John answered their questions by saying, “I baptize you with water; but someone is coming soon who is greater than I am—so much greater that I’m not even worthy to be his slave and untie the straps of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.” Luke‬ ‭3:16‬

Supernatural Inversions Will Take Place

By Kathi Pelton

As I waited on the Lord, I heard the word “inversion”. As I prayed and waited further I could see the Lord causing a supernatural reversal to assignments that the enemy had sent against your life. I also saw the enemy turned on his head as the Lord brought these reversals.

I looked up the definition of inversion and this is what it means: a change in the position, order, or relationship of things so that they are the opposite of what they had been.

Though it feels like the momentum of what the enemy has unleashed against you is unstoppable, God is about to cause this supernatural inversion that will not only stop this momentum of destruction and pending “doom” but will suddenly change of order or reversal of it and as He does you will receive double back for all that has been taken and touched during this time.

Receive and believe! This is your posture.

“When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Restore our fortunes, Lord, like streams in the Negev. Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” Psalm‬ ‭126:1-6‬ ‭

We are on the threshold of supernatural inversions that will bring mighty and divine turnarounds. Remember, that the crossing of thresholds can be met with opposition. The Lord desires to carry you over the threshold, which will also carry you above the warfare and opposition. This is a time to be carried, look into his eyes and know that he has sent angelic armies to fight for you as you experienced this time of “inversion.”

Believe it, receive it and give your “Amen!”

Father, Forgive Them

By Kathi Pelton

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” Luke 23:34

While Jesus was hanging on the cross, he looked down at the soldiers who had nailed him there and prayed these words. They were dividing up his garments (after stripping him naked) and casting lots. The response of our Savior, who was suffering unimaginable pain, was to ask his father to forgive them, “…FOR THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.”

I believe that Jesus gave us an example in that moment of how we need to pray as we look upon those who, “Don’t know what they are doing.”

Yesterday, a friend who was reading my article about praying for “Saul’s to become Paul’s” commented and reminded me of the stoning of Stephen in Acts 7. Stephen prayed a very similar prayer as Jesus had prayed during the time of his execution (stoning). This is what he prayed as he took his final breath,

While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:59-60

As I read my friend’s comment, I remembered that Saul as at Stephen’s stoning and the witnesses laid their coats at Saul’s feet as they stoned him. Saul heard Stephen’s prayer and I agree that in that moment, Stephen’s prayer was planted into Saul’s heart. Just two chapters later we read of Saul’s experience with Jesus on the road to Damascus where the Lord spoke audibly to him. Following that experience, Jesus speaks to him clearly, heals his blindness and sets him as an apostle to the gentiles. This man who was most known for “persecuting and killing those who followed Jesus” suddenly become one of the greatest preachers of the gospel of Christ ever to live.

I believe that we must practice the ways of Jesus in this hour and begin to prayer, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” Or “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” The fact is that those who are deceived are exactly that…deceived. If you are deceived, then you do not know that what you are doing is wrong. You, like Saul, believe that you are upholding truth and executing justice upon the “infidels.” We are seeing this throughout the world right now. The situation in Afghanistan with the Taliban is like a mighty Saul coming forth in absolute deception to destroy the infidels.

But we have the prayer of Jesus in Luke 23:34 and of Stephen in Acts 7:59-60 to show us how to pray. May we even pray that if any are martyred will release this prayer with their final breath. Let us ask our Father to forgive them—for they do not know what they are doing. Let us ask the Lord to not hold this sin against them. It is time for us to release the heart of Jesus into the atmosphere of hatred and deception so that many will encounter Jesus on the way to persecute men and women who do not believe as they believe. Then the scales will fall off their eyes (just as it did for Saul/Paul) and they will see truth, they will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and they will be baptized.

We have been given instructions of how to pray through Jesus and through Stephen. Let us begin to pray in this way so that we can be witnesses of the conversion of many who are caught in blindness and deception. “God, forgive them and do not hold these great sins against them.”

Pray That The “Wicked Will Turn” From Their Ways”— Let Us Start a Global Prayer Movement for a Great Turning!

By Kathi Pelton

As believers across the world pray for the citizens of nations like Afghanistan, Cuba, Lebanon and other nations where tyranny rules, I felt to remind you to pray not only for the righteous but also for the wicked. Truly, the wicked are in a place of eternal risk. If the wicked will turn, then the righteous and the innocent in the land are set free as well.

Today let us pray for “the wicked” out of Isaiah 55:6-7,

“Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.”
God, today we come together in prayer and supplication on behalf of those who are doing wrong, especially leaders of nations and their followers who have been deceived. We plead on their behalf that they will “change their ways and banish the VERY THOUGHT of doing wrong.” We intercede on their behalf that they will turn to the Lord so that you can have mercy on them and be gracious to them. We cry out to them, “Turn to God while he can be found by you— he will save and forgive you! He will heal you and heal your land!”

Please share this so that we can mark today as a day that the body of Christ globally agreed in prayer for the turning of the wicked from evil to good, from tyranny to their Savior, who sets men free!

Can We Still Sing, “What A Wonderful World?”

By Kathi Pelton

This morning I woke up very early and asked our Echo Dot (Alexa) to play soft jazz while I made my coffee. As I stood in our dimly lit kitchen with the sound of coffee dripping, Louie Armstrong’s unique and beautiful voice began to sing, “What A Wonderful World.”

Quite honestly, it was like a breath of fresh air from days gone by, when our world was simpler (or at least appeared to be simpler). I stopped and leaned against our kitchen island letting sound of his voice and the lyrics wash over me. Here are the words to the beloved old song,

I see trees of green
Red roses too
I see them bloom
For me and you
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

I see skies of blue
And clouds of white
The bright blessed day
The dark sacred night
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

The colors of the rainbow
So pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces
Of people going by
I see friends shaking hands
Saying, “How do you do?”
They’re really saying
“I love you”

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
They’ll learn much more
Than I’ll never know
And I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Yes, I think to myself
What a wonderful world

Suddenly I realized, “What has changed?” Are trees still green, do roses still bloom, is the sky still blue, are clouds still white, does the moon still light the night sky, do rainbows still appear, do babies still cry and do people still say, “I love you”? Yes, all of these things are still true. Creation still declares his goodness and his beauty.

Though much of mankind has turned to other gods and tyranny has gripped nations– there is still beauty to behold. I think that sometimes we feel that it is a betrayal to those suffering to stop and gaze on beauty but it is so good for your soul. There will always be suffering and times to grieve but we must not forget to look upon the beauty of an evergreen tree or a desert cactus that blooms with colorful splendor. We must not forget to stop and watch a sunrise or sunset and let it’s beauty take our breath away. We must not stop looking for rainbow or finding joy in the faces of our loved ones.

You have permission to find beauty and to let it wash over your soul like a healing balm. You will still weep with those who have lost loved ones, with nations that are suffering and with those who’s hearts have been gripped with fear but it is good to see that beyond the “headlines” there is still “a wonderful world to behold.”

This isn’t a prophetic message, it’s just a note from my heart to yours to “stop and smell the roses” once again. Create beauty and gaze upon beauty– it is so good for your soul. Maybe even turn on Louie Armstrong’s song, “What A Wonderful World” and just lean back and remember that God has given us a wonderful world that reveals his beauty.

I just wanted to share with you that I was thinking to myself today, “What a wonderful world.

“I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living. Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.” Psalm 27:13-14

Carriers of His Glory

By Kathi Pelton

“For as the waters fill the sea, the earth will be filled with an awareness of the glory of the LORD.” Hanukkah 2:14

I heard in my spirit all of the noise coming from news reports and social media outlet of conflicts, fear and tyranny. I heard the noise of divisions, anger, blame, fear and rage— all resonating like “resounding gongs and clanging cymbals”. It was deafening. Then suddenly I heard the voice of the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth. He roared with a roar of His agape love and the shrieking clamor was silenced. It brought all confusion and noise to an abrupt stop, releasing an awareness of the glory of the Lord upon the earth.

“If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.” 1 Corinthians 13:1

When love is absent— only noise fills the atmosphere. That is why it is causing such a negative effect on people. Many individuals, both inside and outside of the body of Christ, are experiencing deep weariness, headaches, anxiety, aggravation, depression, and even hopelessness. The toxic bellowing is exposing the state of mankind apart from the love of God. It is revealing the hatred in people’s hearts and the absence of peace. It is preparing the way for an awareness of the glory of the Lord to come.

God’s people can change the narrative and the atmosphere that creates fear and divisions. So many have turned their focus to “issues” rather than releasing the sound of our Bridegroom— which is agape love— and it is strengthening the very issues they are focused on rather than bringing an awareness of the glory of God.

I am not suggesting that we ignore issues and put our heads in the sand— but issues have become more evident and even louder than the love of Christ— and that is wrong! A great turnaround is needed in the body of Christ. We should be carriers of love and glory of God which shifts the atmosphere, the earth and the people so much that issues are resolved as the fear and standard of the Lord becomes the foundation of this generation.

Great Wonders are Coming

This is a time when God that God is first purifying his church, because we are carriers of His glory. His Spirit within us will pour out from us and the glory of the Lord will fill the earth. Miracles, signs, and wonders will be seen. Nations will see his glory and a global banqueting table will be set in the presence of our enemies.

In the days of Joshua, when the Levitical priests carried the the Ark of the Covenant upon their shoulders to the overflowing banks of the Jordan River (to see it part), there was first a purification.

“Then Joshua told the people, “Purify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do great wonders among you.”” Joshua 3:5

It was harvest season when this occurred, just as it is at this time. God is about to do great wonders among us! The enemy is raging, and he is stirring up confusion, division, and great murmurings because he sees the signs of purification within God’s people, and he remembers what happens next: the promises are fulfilled! The glory of the Lord will shine brighter than the darkness of evil, the threats of tyranny and the issues that invoke fruitless debates. Love will cause men and women to move from a position of “choosing camps” into the oneness that Jesus prayer for in John 17:21-23.

Carriers of His Glory

The enemy fears what is within those who are yielded to purification and sanctification. Just as the Ark of the Covenant carried His glory, so we too are carriers of His glory.

What was contained in the Ark of the Covenant?

It contained a golden pot of manna, miraculous provision to nourish Israel that did not come from the labor of man’s hands, but from God alone. Gold is refined and purified. The miracles will be held in refined jars not produced by the strength of man, but by the kindness of God.

The Ark also held the budding rod of Aaron, which was used to bring forth the deliverance of God’s people from the slavery of Egypt. It was the rod that turned into a snake in Pharaoh’s court. The Egyptian magi turned their staffs into snakes, but the snake that had been Aaron’s rod swallowed theirs (Exodus 7:8–10). It was also a miraculous sign of “ending divisions, complaints, and arguments” amongst the tribes; a sign of the noise being silenced and stopping unnecessary deaths.

“Buds will sprout on the staff belonging to the man I choose. Then I will finally put an end to the people’s murmuring and complaining against you” Numbers 17:5

The budding of the rod also indicated the blessing and choosing of the tribe of Levi. The tribe of Levi were the “set apart” ones who carried blessings with them.

Aaron and his sons were set apart following the golden calf incident ( Exod 32:26-29 ). They were blessed and chosen because their actions signified their loyalty to the covenant. We see this happening once again as God is setting apart those who are standing loyal to His covenant. Blessings follow them throughout the earth.

The third item in the Ark were the stone tablets that the commandments of God were inscribed upon. This set in place the standard of the Lord; His righteousness, truth, and order.

Is it possible that we are to be those who carry manna from Heaven in a time of great spiritual famine? Are we to carry the budding rod of Aaron that puts an end to the murmuring and complaining? Are we to carry the commandments of the Lord that raise up his standard in a world where every righteous standard has been replaced by evil? May I suggest that we are to ask for these things— to seek them and to carry them. Then, where we rest a blessing comes to all.

Be Set Apart

This is a time to allow God to separate you and set you apart as a member of His priesthood and as a son of the tribe of Levi. Do not involve yourself with those who are building golden calves or erecting towers. Do not be dismayed or swayed by the noise of Babel that is being trumpeted. And do not become a part of the noise that is void of love.

Peace is available as you are set apart. God’s righteousness and order will come upon you and your household as you are set apart, and deliverance will come. God lives in us and we must be carriers of heavenly provision (food), peace, love, oneness, truth, order, deliverance and righteousness.

The snakes that have been sent against God’s people to bring fear and confusion will be swallowed up by the rod of Aaron. God is purifying and setting apart his sons and daughters for the time of the great harvest.

Let us see the earth filled with the awareness of the glory of the Lord! Let it start with you— when we are one “then the world will know that the Father sent his Son!” (John 17).

Your Authority to Prohibit or Permit

By Kathi Pelton

I wrote these words in 2020 and they are a good reminder of who we are and what He has given us authority to do!

Today I want to remind you that YOU have been given to keys of the kingdom of heaven. Shake off the stupor and any other thought that renders you hopeless, powerless and subject to the spirit of the world. YOU are not a victim but a priest and a king! YOU have the authority to PROHIBIT and to PERMIT what happens on earth. It is time to use the keys we’ve been given and to bind and loose! As we take back our authority and together begin to bind and loose (prohibit and permit) then we will see things shift and open for a great awakening…both personally and corporately.

“I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you prohibit on earth will have been prohibited in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will have been permitted in heaven.” Matthew 16:19

I was just sharing with someone that I honestly believe that one of the greatest battles that is being fought right now is over the “image of God” that is in all mankind. The enemy hates His image when he looks at us. He is jealous of His beauty- the beauty revealed in us. He hates God and hates His identity in us. That is why he works so hard to dishonor and destroy purity, innocence, identity, gender, marriage, family, sexuality and everything that is holy…everything that reveals God’s image. That is why any church leader or political leader or parent that stands against this onslaught is hit with such great warfare and hatred.

But– together we can rise up in agreement with heaven and loose what is holy, pure and righteous and bind all that stands against God’s ways and truths. We have the keys but many are not using them so the way of breakthrough remains locked while the enemy defiles our children and our nations. It’s time to pull out our keys and begin to lock and unlock, bind and loose, prohibit and permit. Our world depends on us walking in what we’ve been given authority to steward and protect. We are not victims but rather we are the victorious warriors who have received the victory that was purchased by the Lamb that was slain.

May the spirit of David, of Moses, of Joseph, of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob…the spirit of Mary, Deborah, Lydia and Esther come upon us and get us up out of our pit of self pity and defeat to begin to be the heroes of faith that we have been called to be. Yes, I’m even preaching to myself! I say this in passion and in love because we are so much more then we are often living out.

Rise up sons and daughters of the King! It’s time to prohibit demonic activity and permit the Kingdom of God and righteousness to saturate our homes and nations.

Two Dreams: Prayer Can Change What Lies Ahead

By Kathi Pelton

I am writing this in the middle of the night so that I do not forget the dreams that I just had or the message sent through them.

In the first dream I was taken over the earth where in the spiritual atmosphere of the second heavens there was a timeline that looked like individual “film stills” (photos) that were setting in place for future events. These scenes and pictures appeared to be securely set in and unchangable as they were going before “real time on earth.” They seemed to prophesy from the demonic realm— like the enemy was producing a movie that was being played out on earth ahead of time. It was his narrative and his script for what lies ahead.

Then, as I looked upon this furture timeline (which included catastrophic events, upheaval and hopelessness) I suddenly saw smoke coming from the earth that was from a huge golden incense jar. This wasn’t like the smoke that billows from a fire with dark plumes of black, but it was a steady stream of colorful smoke that danced like a gentle river as it ascending toward heaven. When this incense touched this future timeline that was being set in place (produced), the photos of “what was coming” began to melt away. They were being pulled out of what has appeared “set and secured” for our future and melting as this incense touched it, causing the scenes to disappear. Then I saw before my eyes the words, PRAYER CHANGES THINGS.

As I woke up I heard the Spirit of the Lord repeating over and over, “Pray, it changes things! Pray, pray, pray!” I saw once again how prayer creates an incense that interrupts the enemy’s plan and script to make an opening in the heavens for God’s will and plans to come to earth. It is when God’s people pray that times and seasons align with the will of God. It makes a way for “On earth as it is in Heaven.”

The enemy always has a different script that wants to usurp God’s ways, plans and timeline. His brings hopelessness that gives the message that “no change is available” but God is inviting us to pray like never before because the prayers of the saints will melt away the plans of the evil one and open up a way for the plans of the Lord to be done on earth in His way and His timing. God’s ways always bring hope and promise; even in the midst of judgement. Mercy remains present!

The second dream that I had was of a constant sound that was over the earth at this time. This was a demonic sound that was repeating phrases over and over that were brainwashing the people of the earth. They spoke evil things and called them good and then called good things evil. I heard phrases like, “Communism is good.”, “Marxism is good.” along with many other phrases. It had a seductive spirit that caused even some of God’s elect to begin to believe this message. In this dream the “spiritual soundtrack” of these messages was constant and subliminal. I remember at one point in the dream being allowed to feel the alluring that it was releasing upon people’s minds so that they would begin to believe the unimaginable. It was like a drug that altered minds.

Though I was not shown a solution in this dream (only the condition of what was happening) I woke up wanting to trumpet the Word of God like a shofar into the atmosphere. I longed to get my Bible out and begin to pray and decree His infallible Word. I wanted to shout the good news of the gospel of Christ and His truths as written in the scriptures.

I believe that in these two dreams there are two clear messages:

• Prayer releases an incense that cuts through the future plans of the enemy and opens a way for “on earth as it is in Heaven.” And,

The sound of the Living Word that is found in the written Word will overcome the sound that is redefining what is evil as good and what is good as evil. Release His sound of truth!

Please take the strategies that the Lord is releasing in this hour and put them into action. This is not merely a time to say, “Amen” but to put into practice prayer and the declarations of His written Word that is alive! Pray the Word, pray in the Spirit, pray for His will to be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Join the intercession of Jesus.

We must not be passive and begin to sink under the lies that says no change is available. If that was so then why does Jesus intercede? Why did He pray during His time on earth and why did He teach His disciples to pray? It is because, PRAYER CHANGES THINGS! We also know that His Word does not return void— so release His Word!

“May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

Let’s pray and declare his Word like never before!

(These two dreams were received one year ago but are critical for this time that we are currently in.)
