Be Blameless

To be “blameless” means to be innocent of wrongdoing. We know that we are covered and washed in the blood of Jesus (by grace) from all of our wrongdoings but we also desire to live a life of righteousness and walk in a standard of holiness all of the days of our lives.

Psalm 37:18-19 says,
“The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.”
Since blame and wrongdoing has been removed from our lives, we now have the honor of standing before him as “blameless.” Yet, some use this “grace and forgiveness” as a license to act in ways that compromise his standards— believing that grace gives permission to “act unbecomingly” or compromise his ways and instructions.

“Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not!” Romans 6:15

Though ALL have fallen short of his glorious standard (Romans 3:23), we do not want to deliberately fall short. His Word is to be our standard as his character and integrity is formed in us. Our lives are to bring glory, honor and praise to him in all that we do and who we are. We are called to yield until we see his image become one with us.

There is a great need for natural and spiritual parents to spend time on our knees praying for our children and our children’s children. The spirit of rebellion and deception is infiltrating every aspect of society from education to media— (from physical ed to the video games they play). Rules alone will not protect our youth from compromise and deception— that leads to rebellion. We must get this wisdom from the Lord and we must pray for them like never before…and, we must do our best to walk blameless before them in honor and integrity.

The reward for those who are called “blameless” by the Lord is honor, abundance and a righteous heritage.

“God, we ask that we will be found blameless before you. We thank you for your forgiveness and grace that has washed us from all sin and defilement. Reveal to us your ways and strengthen us to walk in a life of uncompromising holiness and honor before you. Though we still fall short, may we never use grace as a license to fall short. Create in us clean hearts and clean hands— and show us any area or way in us that dishonors you or defiles our hearts. We ask that you would protect our children from the spirit of rebellion and deception that seeks to devour them. Keep them in the refuge of your care and teach them your ways. May they be found blameless before you all of their days.” Amen

Eight Years of Mercy & Miracles

I recently had the Spirit of the Lord come upon me in a powerful way that brought me to a point of trembling and tears. When this happened I heard the Spirit say that Hanukkah 2021 would be the start of an eight year period of “restoring the temple.”

Where believer’s lamps have gone out and lives have been defiled and in stand in disrepair (like the temple during the first Hanukkah)— miraculously, oil will be provided and his people will burn again. We will be prepared and purified during these eight years as a beautiful bride, burning lamp (city set on a hill) and his glorious temple.

I saw that many were feeling overwhelmed by their “lack” or the awareness of personal shortcomings— yet, our loving and merciful Heavenly Father will come and restore his people and miraculously light his lamp stands. I saw that this Hanukkah will begin an eight years period of miracles and mercy. During this time the Lord will be seen as the merciful and miraculous Savior that he is. His bride will be made glorious and her beauty will be revealed.

We will know that “in Christ” we have no lack of shortcoming that his mercy and grace has not provided for. The words, “Not by might, nor by power but by My Spirit” will become a manifest reality that leaves us in awe and wonder at his loving kindness.

This year, Hanukkah begins the Sunday after America’s Thanksgiving holiday (November 28th- December 6th). I sense that he is bringing awareness to this so that we can, even now, begin to enter this time with thankfulness for what he is about to do— and WHO HE IS.

What a good Father and merciful Savior we have! There is no one like our God!

Captives Will Be Set Free

As I asked God today, “What is on your heart and what are you interceding for?” I immediately saw “the seekers.” I saw those who were looking for something higher, bigger and more powerful then they are. They were looking for identity, meaning, purpose and something to live for. Then I saw all of the gods of this world set before them as choices that allure them with false promises of inclusion, control, community, money and power. What was hiding behind those promises were chains to bind them and prisons to hold them captive so that they would never obtain eternal life through Jesus. When I looked closer, these false gods were demons with masks of these gods— merely to allure these seekers into an unholy union with them.

Then I saw angels carrying heavy duty metal cutting tools in their hands. They were sent out in response to the prayers for the most, the prayers for revival and the prayers to set the captives free. But there is a great battle in the unseen realm to get them to have access to the ones who have been bound by chains and put into prisons of deception.

Then I saw believers prayer walking their neighborhoods and their cities to join with heaven and clear the way for these angels to be able to come and set the captives free.

It is time for the unmasking of these false gods and for the unveiling of the revelation of Jesus and his love to be found by the seekers.

Pray for the seekers, the prodigals who got lost (deceived) in their seeking, for the hungry, the lost and those who are spiritual orphans looking to belong to someone or something. Walk your neighborhood and your city to help clear the atmosphere from resistance so that they can be set free. Pray for the unmasking of false gods, idols and practices that serve something that cannot save.

“To open blind eyes, To bring out prisoners from the dungeon And those who dwell in darkness from the prison.” Isaiah 42:7

It is time for the seekers to find truth— to find the “One True God.” It is time for them to find the One that will set them free, heal them, save them and deliver them. It is time for them to discover the free gift of grace and a love that is incomparable to any other love. Some of these may be your children, your grandchildren, your friend or your neighbor. It is time to ring the bells of freedom over their lives.

“God makes a home for the lonely;
He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.”
Psalm 68:6

I also saw those with a “spirit of rebellion” that came through their negative response to life circumstances or their perception of life circumstances. They were seeking vengeance and doing it by being empowered by rebellion. As Psalm 68:6 says, it has led them to a “parched land.” As you pray— bind that rebellious spirit that has chained them to stubbornness and enslaved them to a thirst for vengeance that can never be satisfied (except through the vindication of the cross of Jesus). Pray for their surrender and that they come to their senses. Pray for their eyes that have been “blinded by rage” to be opened to see the beauty of Jesus and the truth of forgiveness.

Pray for the seekers and the rebellious today! Pray that they would be set free from captivity, rage and deception. Pray that the angels will have get through the lines of resistance to cut the heavy chains that have shackled the lost.

The Laboring Remnant

God has entrusted a remnant from among his people to carry and birth his purposes for their nations in this critical hour. Many of these are in a posture where they are both laboring in prayer and simultaneously standing as spiritual midwives to others who are also laboring in prayer. Only by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit can we both birth and be midwives at the same time.

There has been great resistance sent by the enemy to stop the labor, to abort the baby or bring forth a stillbirth. Often this resistance has come upon those called to birth. One form of resistance has been the desire to escape the spiritual pressure, but the pressure is relieved as we release the prayers and then enter into rest between “contractions.” The temptation to stop laboring and pushing in prayer has been intense and immense. But, if you are called to labor in this hour— it is almost time to push— do not give up! This is not a time to escape and if you need to gather midwives around you then be sure to do so.

There is a travailing in prayer, often accompanied by pain. This happens at times when the “spiritual contractions” come upon us. We are not forced to receive them, but rather invited and entrusted to receive them. They are increasing but fighting them merely makes them worse. Allow the waves to wash over you and release them until rest returns.

As we labor together and stand as midwives together, there is a oneness being produced and a spiritual rhythm on earth that is synchronized to the purposes of heaven. Though we scarcely understand what is happening, we must yield to the waves of intercession and the will of our God to bring forth what he desires.

Many that are experiencing these spiritual contractions are also experiencing the lack of human words to pray and they find that there is a groaning deep within them that goes beyond words. Release the groanings as prayers and intercession— the Spirit knows that which is “too lofty” for us to understand. This is not a time to stop and figure things out or to try to understand— it is a time to trust that HE KNOWS and he understands what needs to come forth. He is asking you to trust him with the outcome.

He is watching over his laboring remnant. The pain will suddenly come to an end and great joy will fill our hearts as we see the fullness and fulfillment of what we pushed and travailed for.

“Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the LORD. “No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God.” Isaiah 66:9

October Will Be A Month of Harvest For Many!

I saw a vision of a calendar changing from the 9th month to the 10th month and when it flipped over it said, “10 FOLD HARVEST!”

Immediately I began to hear the words, “Ten fold returns, bonuses, raises, increase, promotions and blessings.”

I could see envelopes being handed to workers that had checks in them that were unexpected. Then I saw the verse from Luke 10:7 that says, “…a worker is worthy of his wages.”

Some of you have worked tirelessly for less than you should have received but the Lord is about to give many an increase in October. I see this for those in the marketplace and those that have served for many years in ministry roles. He sees your hard work, your sacrifice and your grateful heart (in the midst of various trials)— a reward is coming.

Get your baskets ready— a great harvest is about to come in.

A New Mind-Set That Brings Peace and Life

I recently heard someone say that from the moment of birth we are on a path to the grave. This is true for those who have not experienced “rebirth” through salvation in Jesus. But it is no longer true for the believer!

Adam introduced sin and sin became the doorway to death for all mankind. But when Christ came to live a life in the flesh and overcame sin— he also overcame death and the grave. Now, those who have come to believe and receive this gift of grace (provided by Jesus); we are on now on a path of life. The parting of our fleshly bodies is merely a threshold from the temporal into the eternal.

Therefore, we (in Christ) are perpetually on a path of life that will have no end. We do not have to fear the separation from our earthly bodies because that threshold is when we are able to be face to face with the One who paid the price for our sin so that we have this amazing gift of life.

I wanted to bring this reminder because in these trying times where we see so much change and sin manifesting as deep darkness in the world around us— we need to remember that we are not on a path that leads to a grave but we are on a path of life. No law, no man and no virus can take that away from us. It was secured on the cross. We have been freed from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:6 says, “For the mind-set of the flesh is death, but the mind-set of the Spirit is life and peace.”

The enemy would love to get God’s people to set our minds on the flesh (which leads to death) and consume our thoughts with the chaos that is happening in the world around us. But we have the mind of Christ and have set our minds (our thoughts, our affections and our meditations) on the Spirit— which renews us with life and peace.

This is the inheritance of the Saints— not an inheritance yet to be received but already provided for. Greater things than we can even imagine will come when we cross that threshold from the temporal life in these mortal bodies into the eternal, but we have been given life and peace now therefore our minds should be set on these things.

“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.” Philippians 4:8

This is where our minds should be set! Today, ask the Spirit to set your mind on the “things of the Spirit” which will bring you life and peace. Remember that Romans 8 goes on to say that, “…the mind set on things of the flesh is hostile to God because it has not submitted to him and is unable to.” (vs. 7) We have submitted our minds and lives to God and his ways which brings peace. But if we turn begin to focus on the things of the flesh we will begin to reap the things of the flesh. The mind set on the flesh will begin to experience depression, decay and disillusionment. It will begin to submit to things other than God—such as submitting to the flesh rather than the spirit (which will leave you a captive). Your peace will soon turn into hostility and your thoughts into chaos. You have been set free from hostility, sin and captivity— do not go back!

“…choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15

“…I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

We are not on a path to death but we live upon a continuous path of life that is paved by grace and peace. Fix your mind on the things of the Spirit and LIVE!

Dream: Jesus Is Swaddling Soul Wounds

Last night I had the most unusual dream that felt more like an encounter than a dream. In this dream, I was spending time with the Lord and as I did he drew my attention to a place deep in my stomach were there was some anxiety that I had learned to live with (and even ignore). As he drew my attention to it, he began to take me into that very place. As I went there I could feel the “shaking” from a trauma I had been through this year. There was a deep place of shock from some real life events that I’d personally gone through. Though I had processed most of the grief and pain— the shock and trauma remained in this hidden place. It had become a knot deep in my gut that seemed to store trauma.

Then I began to see scenes of things that are shocking people at this time that we are living in; in their families, cities and nations. People were holding onto the shock and trauma as these events were getting more and more familiar. But the place of trauma in their souls was getting larger because we it was not being dealt with. I understood that it was a huge threat to their peace and joy.

Then, in my dream, Jesus came to me with a swaddling blanket, like the ones you swaddle a new born infant with. He then went to that place of trauma in my soul and he swaddled it. He folded it around the trauma until it fully and tightly enfolded all the anxiety that was in that place. Suddenly the “knot in my stomach” was replaced by peace and rest. I saw this swaddling blanket as “Christ himself being wrapped around my soul”— bringing peace and healing to that hidden place where trauma had touched me.

Then I saw him go to many believers who had experienced trauma (some from childhood, some from recent events and some from both), and he began to fold, tuck and swaddle this blanket of peace and of “him” around the wounded areas and people began to be healed.

I doubt if there is a person on earth who has not looked upon or personally experienced something that left shock or trauma upon their souls— especially in the hour that we are living in. Though there is great hope and joy for the believer, we still need to make sure that we aren’t ignoring these areas of trauma. We cannot allow them to go untouched by God. He desires to heal all trauma, set you free from the anxiety caused by shock and allow his peace, rest and healing to swaddle your soul until you become still and comforted.

In 2008 my husband and I began being foster parents for beautiful baby boy that had been exposed to drugs. This sweet baby was so restless and stiff that could not be comforted. A doctor suggested that we swaddle him in a special swaddle blanket. We would have to wrap him so tight— to the point that he could not thrash and move but would allow us to hold him close and walk the floor with him. We did this for months. It kept him still and feeling safe until finally was free and could be at peace in our arms without the swaddling.

I believe that what I experienced in my dream was real and that Jesus has swaddled a deep place in my soul that experienced trauma a number of months ago. He will keep it swaddled until I can be whole and rest in his comfort once again in that area deep area.

If you have gone through a shock or a trauma— or even looked upon another’s trauma or tragedy that has brought a wound to your soul— invite Jesus to come and swaddle that area with his peace, his love and his healing embrace. It is time for us to be whole and to stay whole.

What a wonderful and healing Savior!

I Just Want You

I have made it a habit to begin my days by asking the Lord what he desires. I want to know what is on his heart, what he is saying, what he is doing and how I can be “one with him.” Today, when I asked, I heard, “I just want you.”

Suddenly my mind was taken to how much I love just sitting with my children. I have very personal things I share with each of my kids that mean more than anything that they can do for me. One of my sons makes it a habit to walk up behind me and hug me with my back to his chest. It is his way of saying, “Here I am Mom— I love you.” Another son has made it a habit to walk by me and extend his hand to touch my hand or to sit next to me and reach over and hold my hand— this is his very personal way of saying, “I’m always your son and I love you.” One of my daughters gives me her time and looks for thoughtful gifts— she is my constant companion, which says, “I love being with you Mom.” Then another son takes time to explain his many projects in detail with me— he is always sharing with me what he is doing and how it works. He loves that I love what interests him, it says, “I love that your my mom.”

As the Lord brought these details of my children to my thoughts, I realized that these are my favorite moments. They mean everything to me. Jesus was saying, “I just want to be with you in that personal way that only we share.” He is saying that to you too.

Sometimes we get so focused on what we think Jesus wants us to do for him that we forget that above all else, he just wants us! He loves it when we stop “doing” and we take time to linger in that moment where we touch and connect heart to heart.

Yesterday I was standing outside in a place where there were many trees. While I stood there alone, taking in the beauty of the trees, a breeze began to blow and all of the leaves began to “dance and clap” together. The sound was like creation praising— I just stood there and let the sound and beauty of it wash over me. I began to feel my soul dance and clap with them. Then I began to hear, “I love you daughter” through the sound. These are the “touch points” that Jesus and I share. Just like my son reaching out his hand to touch mine or my other son coming up being me to hug me. Jesus causes creation to do something beautiful and we share that moment with a mutual, “I love you this much.” I love to linger in those moments without any thoughts of doing but rather just being his and he being mine.

There is so much to do but it is in the moments of lingering and sharing the sweetness of touching “heart to heart” that moves his heart and refreshes our souls. There will always be an abundance of things to do but developing personal touch points and an intimate love language with God is what makes the doing personal and meaningful.

He wants you! He loves to be with you; to have you share the details of what you love, to reach out and brush your hand against his, to spend time with him or to stop and embrace him in the midst of your busy day. He waits and he longs for these moments. Let your back lean against his chest and linger there.

This is the place where the oil in my lamp is filled and I leave these moments shining brighter. His heart is moved and my heart is strengthened.

Take time to just be together. Share with him the details of what you love, what you are doing and be sure to receive his “touch.”

Light Will Dispel The Darkness

Jesus came to bring light to a world shrouded in darkness. He brought hope, fulfillment of prophecy and promises, he brought healing, truth, compassion, cleansing, deliverance, provision and salvation. His light and life paid the price for all darkness. Everything he brought provided light. Even when he turned over the tables or confronted the Pharisees— it was to confront darkness with truth and light.

We are to be light in the darkness. But to do so we must become consumed with the true Light. We are called to be a “city set on a hill” and a light that is not hidden or covered. So, here is my concern— has much of the church become more consumed with gazing upon the darkness and fixing their thoughts on the things of this world than beholding the One that provides oil for our lamps?

We can be informed and aware of the darkness and deception that is upon the land and throughout the world but rather than becoming fixated on darkness, why don’t we fill our lamps with oil and become the light that dispels darkness?

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

Even the unbelievers see the darkness (not understanding that their “enlighten” ways are actually darkness in disguise). They long for light but need to see the Church as true light— the city on the hill that lights up the darkness. We need to be more than “those with a different opinion or belief” (more that the “opposition”)— we need to be good news and a light that leads them to a path of life. Jesus is the only one that puts mankind on the “path of life.” Every person born begins a path to death— it is the one thing that mankind gets closer to each day— but Christ provides a different path that leads us closer each day to the promise of eternal life. Human death merely becomes a doorway to greater life.

Many are gazing upon or meditating on the darkness and the “testimonies of evil” that is broadcast over the airways and on social media platforms everyday. If this is where your focus is, then that is what you will become consumed with. Love will begin to fade under the fixation of the oppression of tyranny and hatred, leaving your voice to be a resounding gong in the noise of controversy and opposition. We cannot abandon the banner of love as we hold up a banner of truth.

As we look upon Jesus, beholding who he is and allowing his light to penetrate all the darkness in and around us— only then will we reflect what he came to give— LIGHT! Often the Church becomes so busy trying to expose darkness that we forget to be the light that will expose darkness (often without ever having to address it).

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.” Philippians 4:8

Fill your thoughts with praiseworthy things. Let the light of Christ show you the “path of life” that will lead you and your family into greater light and life. Go up on that mountaintop and get face to face with the Light of the World so that when you come down your face shines with the reflection of his glory. Become obsessed with light, love and our Lord. Then, “Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine!”

We can become the light that is needed to expose the darkness surrounding the unborn, gender confusion, tyranny, injustice, deception and sickness. It begins with gazing upon him, meditating upon his Word, letting his love saturate our souls and filling our lamps with oil. May our light speak louder than our words- our love be more powerful than what we oppose and Christ be seen more than our gifts or our eloquent speech.

“Wrap us in the light and love of our wonderful Savior!”
