The other day while I was praying with my husband, I found myself asking the Lord to put us under the umbrella of His protection, favor and blessings. I could see in my spirit how this spiritual umbrella would cover us as we come in and go out. It would protect us from the elements (both sun and rain). Later that day I received a private message from a Facebook friend (one that I’ve never met or spoken to) that felt led to send me a message all about a blue umbrella that God was putting over us. I truly have never prayed about being under an umbrella of His covering so I knew that this message was confirmation that it is His desire to cover us. She saw this blue umbrella as a protecting force or influence that would provide His insurance against all losses.
Do you need to come under God’s umbrella? Have the elements been battering you? There is a place of covering that we live under as His son’s and daughter’s.
It is a place of protection, revelation, covering, blessings, joy and provision.
Psalm 5:11
But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.
