For far too long many of God’s sons and daughters have prepared themselves for disappointment and defeat. Now is time to reverse the belief that you are under a curse!
God’s promises are true! It is time to align our expectations with His words and to believe that He has good plans to “prosper and not harm you” (Jeremiah 29:11).
It is time to dance upon the doubt, trample the unbelief and get excited about all that God has for you.
Yesterday someone was sharing with me their discouragement about the circumstances in their life. They said to me,
“It feels like every time I take a step forward I face wall after wall that blocks my way.”
Immediately I heard the verse in my spirit from Psalm 18:29 that says,
“In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.”
You may be facing armies that resist you or walls that appear to block the way but don’t turn back in defeat! You can crush that army in His strength and you can scale the wall that seems too high to pass over in His strength. Remember that in our weakness He manifests His strength.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 9-11
In HIS strength you can scale that wall and in HIS strength you can crush that army.
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:13 NLT
Awaken hope with a victory dance celebrating the “yet to come”. Look with the eyes of your spirit was is beyond that wall or past the army and begin to dance for victory.
He is good and in His strength you can overcome every obstacle, you can crush the army with your dancing feet and scale the wall with your leaps of joy.
My family is facing what appears to be both an army and a wall but we are allowing His strength to crush and scale what stands before us. A trusted intercessor wrote us yesterday and said that she was praying for our situation and she began to see us dance and march while singing these words,
“Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
My, oh my, what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headin’ my way
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Mister Bluebird’s on my shoulder
It’s the truth, it’s actual
Ev’rything is satisfactual
Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay
Wonderful feeling, wonderful day, yes sir!”
As we come upon March 4th it may be time to march forth singing this song of joy. There is plenty of sunshine heading your way. Do not remain in the shadow of the wall that stands before you but scale it and live in the sunshine that awaits you on the other side.
“The young women will dance for joy, and the men—old and young—will join in the celebration. I will turn their mourning into joy. I will comfort them and exchange their sorrow for rejoicing.”
