The Great Exchange
I had a short vision this morning of the Lord setting up what looked like some sort of yard sale with boxes and a table. Although I couldn’t see what He was in the boxes I felt great anticipation. Then I saw a sign that said, THE GREAT EXCHANGE. I realized that people were bringing the things that had oppressed them, wounded them, weighed them down and they were giving it to Jesus and He was handing them something in exchanged. I could not see what they were given but I knew that it must be good because these individuals and families would go to the table where Jesus was sitting with sullen faces and postures of heaviness, but when they received whatever it was that Jesus gave to them they instantly lit up on the inside and the outside. Their faces were full of joy, they stood up straight and tall and they began rejoicing.
Today you can bring all of your burdens to Jesus. He will exchange them for something of value, beauty and joy.
1 When the Lord brought back the captives [who returned] to Zion, we were like those who dream [it seemed so unreal].
2 Then were our mouths filled with laughter, and our tongues with singing. Then they said among the nations, The Lord has done great things for them.
3 The Lord has done great things for us! We are glad!
4 Turn to freedom our captivity and restore our fortunes, O Lord, as the streams in the South (the Negeb) [are restored by the torrents].
5 They who sow in tears shall reap in joy and singing.
6 He who goes forth bearing seed and weeping [at needing his precious supply of grain for sowing] shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Have a Beautiful Sunday!
