Oceans in the Desert

Today while praying with a friend I went into a visionary experience. The revelation began with a life that had become “a capped well”. I knew that this was a deep well but due to warfare it had become capped. In this experience I saw this well uncapped and as the cap came off I saw golden transparent oil burst forth. This oil shot into the sky as if it was raining upward. 

Then I was shown the Throne of God where I saw the intercession of Jesus taking place. This was happening at the same time as my friend and I were interceding together. I saw His perfect love begin to pour down like the abundance of rain over this newly uncapped well. The rain flowed from the center of His hands. 

As the oil went up from the well the rain from the throne poured down. Then, to my surprise, the oil and water mixed into one! Though oil and water do not normally mix, this golden oil and this rain of perfect love mixed. As it did I could no longer could see what was going up and what was pouring down because as they mixed they became streams of light. These streams (or beams) of light became what appeared like many portals. The light had rainbows appearing from the brightness of it.

Then I heard this verse,

“His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden.”

‭‭Habakkuk‬ ‭3:4‬ ‭

As I heard this verse I saw “hope deferred” broken. I somehow understood that the hope deferred was the result of this well being capped.

Though this visionary encounter was over one well, I believe that this is a picture of many lives and many wells that are about to be uncapped. This experience happened as a friend and I were in intercession and what I saw come forth from the Throne of God flowed from the intercession of Jesus. Intercession will be key in the days ahead to uncap deep wells. 

If you have felt capped, if hope has been deferred and if the pressure has been building then your intercession intermingled with the intercession of Jesus will result in the uncapping of the deep well within. 

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.”
