Oceans in the Desert

About 3 am I was suddenly awakened and taken into a powerful experience that lasted for a number of hours. 

It began with being on the top of a high mountain peak. As I stood on this high place looking up toward Heaven something deep within me began to well up and without warning a fierce roar came out from my mouth. As soon as the first roar came forth another would well up within me and come forth. This happened again and again. 

Then suddenly as each roar came forth I was taken to painful events throughout my life and the roars were released over them. This also continued for quite some time. Then I was taken to events in my husband’s life and children’s lives and the roars would go forth over them as well. I could feel the righteous anger and justice of the Lord in each roar and over each injustice. It was like the vengeance of our God was being released.

Then I heard the instructions,

“Don’t call for Heaven to come into your Earthly injustices but rather bring them up to Heaven.”

Immediately I began to experience the ability to bring all of these injustices, painful events, experiences and assignments that had come against my life or one of my loved ones into a Heavenly place where they were being exchanged for the “good and perfect gifts”. 

I was surprised many times at what came forth to be exchanged and at the wonderful gifts that they were exchanged for. As these exchanges were happening I could see and hear a lion roaring on this mountain peak. It is hard to describe but the Lion felt like both the Lord and like me all at the same time. We had become one in this experience and one in the roars that were being released. 

As this experience was coming to a close (after many hours) I began to hear the words from Jeremiah 29:11 that say,

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭ 

As I saw this verse I the word “harm” was overlaid upon each negative event that was being exchanged and the word “prosper” was put upon the gifts that they were being exchanged for. 

I pray that my experience gives you great hope because I believe that this experience is not only for me but for many. The Lion of Judah is roaring over the injustices that has harmed you. You can join Him and release the roar that ushers you into this great exchange. He is proclaiming freedom from captivity, darkness and binding up broken hearts! 

“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.”
