It was an interesting move for our family yesterday. God keeps telling me that our 22nd move is a key move for us by speaking Isaiah 22:22 to me,
“I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.”
Isaiah 22:22 NLT
The enemy always overplays his hand when he know God’s people are given a key.
The first thing that happened was after finally getting the trucks packed and old house cleaned the U Haul truck keys somehow got packed in a box and loaded onto one of the trucks or trailers. We had no idea where they could be. The keys to transition from one place to the new place were missing and it could be like finding a needle in a haystack.
We all began to pray and our son-in-law began unloading one of the trailers to search for the things that were loaded last, the rest of us searched cars but to no avail. The keys were not to be found. We called U Haul, who said we’d have to call a locksmith (seriously…they don’t have spare keys to their trucks?) so we did. It was going to be over $200 so we continued to pray. After about 45 minutes of racking our brains and asking God to lead us to where they were, our daughter felt to look in a particular box and there they were!!! Lost keys found!!
Then on the drive our daughter and her husband stopped at a rest stop to let their dog have a “potty break”. When they went to get in their car they couldn’t find their keys. After searching her purse and the car they finally found them on the roof of the car. Lost keys found!!
Then last night, all the keys on a ring to our new house and mail box were lost out of a purse (we are gratefully in the house!) and they still have not been found. Another frantic search but no keys.
We NEVER lose keys! It’s just not something that we experience because we know how important it is to know where our keys are. The enemy will try to use the very thing that the Lord is releasing as a spiritual blessing and use the natural symbol of that to war against you. He has merely confirmed that this is a KEY move! One more set of keys to be found still.
This is a key time where people are being moved into key positions and alignments for a great move of God. He is opening doors and closing door as He releases keys to “high positions in His royal court” There is also a real battle in the spirit realm (that manifests in natural circumstances) to keep you from moving through the doors God has opened.
It is time to pray for God’s family as so many are being repositioned and given keys and upgrades. I believe corporate prayer is key for individuals and the entire family of God. Every repositioning affects the whole family. As you pray not just for yourself but for the whole family of God we will release a corporate agreement that will create a wave of prayer that overtakes the enemy.
Just like when Pharaoh’s army was drown in the Red Sea as they fiercely pursued God’s chosen people, once again we will see the armies of darkness swept away by this great wave of prayer. Extend your staff of authority through praying, not just for your circumstances but for the whole family. Let’s move into Isaiah 22:22 and take back the keys through corporate prayer.
Gather together and pray! In families, churches, in home groups or wherever the Lord places you. Pray for the family of God as it is being given new keys and new places of authority.
Prayer is key for these new keys. The enemy is fiercely trying to steal them but the Spirit of God will drown him in this sea of prayer. Amen!
