On May 20th our family and ministry went through the open door that the Lord directed us to by moving to the greater Portland, Oregon area. We are so excited to be a part of His plan to release a move of God in the Pacific Northwest. We have hung our family sign upon the wall of our new home!
When God began to speak to our hearts and confirm with prophetic words and the Word of God regarding this move, we knew that He would provide all that He asked of us to do. We have followed him to different cities and nations and experienced His divine provision all along the way. This time was a bit different though.
In the past provision has always come in to make the move and go through the door that He had instructed us to make but it is always a push of faith with last minute provision that causes extra work in planning and details. The warfare was always fiercest at the time of going through the door; especially financially. This move was different. Yes, the work was the same (it felt harder doing it in my 50’s now.!!) but God put it on the heart of many of you to sow into our transition and we had everything we needed BEFORE we needed it!! What a gift, what a shift and what a precious God we serve.
Jeffrey and I want to personally thank each of you who gave during this transitional move (and expensive move). We lacked nothing because of you and His amazing favor. You made the load so much lighter for us. We are grateful beyond what words can express. To be able to make this transition with all of the finances in place made even the physical work much easier. Thank you!!
I was reading in Philippians 4 where Paul is showing great appreciation to the Church of Philippi for their financial support. He speaks of the reward for their kindness,
“I don’t say this because I want a gift from you. Rather, I want you to receive a reward for your kindness.”
Philippians 4:17 NLT
I felt the Spirit of the Lord rest upon these words and say that He has a great reward for those who have stood with us (and continue to stand with us) to carry us through this transitional move that aligns our lives and ministry with His divine assignment. Your reward is coming!
As I prayed for each of you I sensed that the blessing that we experienced of having all of our needs met “prior” to the moment that they were needed will come upon your lives as well. Delays and lack will end and abundance will come. You will experience His divine supply for ALL of your needs from His glorious riches! This is the reward of your kindness! You can never outgive God.
“And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19
Not only were our needs met but we were able to meet the needs of a dear friend in India who was going blind so that she could receive surgery and see again. Her sight is also your Heavenly reward. Thank you!!
Your sowing brought sight to the blind and ease to our transitions. All that we do here in this new assignment will be your reward as well. Get ready for His reward to go before you and overtake you.
Once again…thank you from our entire family! We are and will continue to declare blessings from His glorious riches upon you and your households.
