We all need help from time to time. There are crucial times in our lives where we need assistance that is beyond what we can see. Last night I felt a deep burden for those who were hurting or that felt overwhelmed by this “crossing over” time of their lives. I went into deep intercession for the body of Christ. As I did I saw angels being sent to assist those who were overwhelmed and at the end of their own strength.
“Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.”
Hebrews 1:14
Angels are God’s servants that are sent to help His beloved ones. They minister to the ones who are discouraged with messages of hope and truth, they battle those unseen assignments on our behalf and they protect us from harm.
When Mary announced her pregnancy to Joseph he was distraught and felt betrayed. His hopes and dreams of a life with his betrothed were now lost in a sea of confusion. God knew that the news given to him by Mary was too much for any man to grasp so He sent an angel in a dream to instruct him and confirm that what Mary had spoken was true.
When the Heavenly activity in your life goes against all natural understanding God will often send angelic help to give you His message of truth, wisdom and revelation. At every significant crossroads in my life a battle between my mind (understanding) and my spirit will be introduced. During those times the thoughts of the flesh will try to steal away your peace, your rest and the assurance of your faith. This battle can be fierce and incredibly painful.
Without fail God has sent angelic activity into my path to bring clear signs of confirmation. I have learned to expect this and look for it because they are messengers that have been sent to instruct me and strength me in the battle to overcome the fears of natural understanding. Living in a supernatural lifestyle will always defy natural understanding. This alone takes great faith because you must put your trust in an unseen God and divine path that often makes no sense to our natural understanding.
With God you will often be invited to do something that defies logic or natural means. When you accept the invitation you begin a supernatural journey that will be assisted by the angels. You will walk a path that requires you to see above and beyond the natural realm. Angels will come and lift you to that place so that you do not trip over natural barriers.
“For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone.”
Psalms 91:11-12
This is an hour that God is sending angelic help and assistance to get you where you need to go and to hold you up above the natural realm that battles so hard against you. He is sending them with messages of wisdom and instruction. He is sending them to minister to you and hold you up. He is sending them before you to prepare the way. He is also sending them to shout songs of joy over you and to draw you into the strength of God’s sovereignty as they sing,
“Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God Almighty,
Who was and is and is to come!”
Revelation 4:8
We are invited to live, breathe and have our being in the sovereignty of God (Acts 17:28). There is rest for our weary souls within the absolute surrender and abiding in the place of His sovereignty. We can trust Him to send us help when our human nature or natural circumstances becomes too much for us. Psalm 91 is an invitation into the dwelling place of the Almighty. He is there to be your shelter and His angels are there to assist you and lift you up.
Welcome His help! We do not worship angels but we surely welcome them. Watch for the angelic help to come to you often in the days ahead. Let them help you with messages from God and let them draw you into the shouts of joy and the declarations of His holiness. It will be strength for you.
