Oceans in the Desert

I hear the Spirit saying,

“Lay down your burdens My friends. My yoke is easy and light. Do not weigh it down with worries that are not yours to carry. I have no worries concerning your life because I have plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Trust Me with all and feel how the weight lifts from your soul.” 

I have been experiencing His light burden surrounding me in a time of huge transition. It is a peace that surpasses my understanding, a hope that anchors my soul and a joy that surrounds me with His pleasure. 

This experience that I’m having may be due to the difference between preparing for transition and now having crossed the threshold into the new but I sense that it is more than that. It is a lightness of entering into the “pleasure of the Lord” and abiding in His love. Oh how He loves us but oh how He enjoys us too! 

It is His great pleasure to bless you, to overwhelm you with His goodness and to enjoy spending time with you. It gives God such great pleasure to carry your burdens and to give you all that is His.

“So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.”

Luke 12:32

Do not be afraid!! You have such a good, good Father who not only loves you but who enjoys you. He desires to take all of the weight of what you have been carrying from you. 

He Will Carry You 

I keep seeing a vision of a small child carrying a backpack that is much larger than his little shoulders can carry. But the Father takes the backpack from His child and carries it for him. But then, He also picks the child up and places His child upon His shoulders as well. The Father does this with great joy and love. It is His great pleasure to carry your burdens and to carry YOU! 

You are so deeply loved! You are carried in the arms of love and there is nothing that He cannot carry for you. In His arms peace floods in and sorrows turn to joy. There is such a transition in the Spirit realm from a place that has caused many to come under heavy burdens to the place of those burdens being lifted and the joy of being carried. 

A Fresh Pentecost: Tongues of Fire Will Come

Pentecost is on May 31st and I sense that a fresh wind is coming to revive you as yourself be carried upon His shoulders.

I sense that a harvest of great blessings is happening and will come upon you as you cross over into June. I also feel that the time of the “refiners fire” will turn into the time that the fire of His love and tongues of fire come upon His people.

“On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.”

‭‭Acts 2:1-4

The tongues of fire caused those gathered on the day of Pentecost to understand one another’s different languages and dialects. They began to speak in another’s language and it united them (and astonished them!).

The spirit of Leviathan has been quite active to break down communication in the past season but these tongues of fire will come and burn away the damage that has come from this demonic spirit. Suddenly you will speak in a language of love that will reunite divided relationships, you will hear the language of the heart of those that you have not understood and a great healing will come upon divided relationships. Many, who have been caught in deception, will suddenly understand the truth of God. Even the lost will understand truth. 

You will go forth with the yoke that is easy and light, you will go forth with tongues of fire that heal and unite, you will go forth with the fire of His love igniting wildfires upon the lost, the broken and the burdened. 

This truly will be the summer of miracles as God pours out a fresh Pentecost upon His Church. I hear the words to the Jason Upton song, “Glory Come Down” that say,

“Let the fire fall, let your winds blow, let your glory come down…”
