As we enter Father’s Day weekend I heard the Spirit speak to me and say,
“The Father has a gift for His children this Father’s Day. He will display His goodness in the lives of His sons and daughters in a significant way that brings peace and joy to them.”
I can truly testify that the more I surrender to the peace and joy of being a beloved daughter who has a father that desires the best for me, the more I experience the manifestation of His goodness.
Have you ever seen a young child fighting against his mother or father in a tantrum? If that child only understood that if they would be still and rest in the presence of their parents that they would experience far more goodness than their struggle is striving to produce.
I saw a vision of God’s sons and daughters struggling against God, not understanding that He has only good for them. He desires peace, joy and goodness for you as you take His hand and trust where and how He is leading you.
Then I heard the words,
“You can count on Me.”
King David understood this promise,
“I am counting on the Lord; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.”
Psalms 130:5
You can count on the goodness of your Father!! You can rest in His presence knowing that His love and wisdom will lead you to experience His goodness.
“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.”
James 1:17
Don’t let the shadows of the world cause you to fight against the promise of your good, good Father. There is no shadows of shifting from His truth and promise over you life.
“This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength…”
Isaiah 30:15
During the time that we give gifts to our fathers your Heavenly Father desires to give you a gift. The gift of rest, peace, joy and His goodness.
Receive it, believe it and count on it! There is joy on His presence and peace in His love. Move into the light of His goodness where all shadows disappear and the fullness of the Father of Lights is experienced and enjoyed.
