Oceans in the Desert

As America celebrates the anniversary of her independence there is a shift and completion that we can celebrate as the global community of God’s people that celebrates our true dependency on the sovereignty of the grace of God.

There has been such a stripping of the independent spirit that relies on human strength and that does not need one another. This has created room for a dependency on both God and on the family of God like no other time before.

On July 1st (Canada Day) many witnessed the body of Christ in Canada come into a new oneness and family as they together, from sea to sea, declared a covenant together. Canada is known spiritually as a womb for the nations and I believe this coming together as one family birthed something for all the nations.

This was a sign of what God has been speaking regarding the crossing into a shift and new chapter come July 1, 2017 (7/1/17). It is the completion time of “divine turnaround”! Even the date shows this as we see the 7-1 and 17. 

There is a celebratory time happening even now in the Heavenly places as the true sons and daughters begin to stand in oneness, unity and dependency together. It is Jesus’ prayer in JOHN 17 begging fulfilled,

““I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.”

This is the time of family and of dependency. No longer will independence be considered strength but a corporate and individual humble dependency will usher in strength for the whole. God made families to provide strength, love, joy, beauty and to experience what the Father, Son and Holy Spirit enjoy together. 

He created man to be a part of His family! It is where we will find true peace. It is where true and lasting breakthrough is experienced. 

Celebrate your dependency; it is a dependency that will bring you freedom like you’ve never known.
