Recently I was in a service with worship leader, Ty Bottler. He began the service by inviting the congregation to position themselves in the victory that Christ has already obtained for them. As he spoke I heard the Spirit speak these words,
“Beyond the veil of victory My people can live in the ‘more than they can ask or imagine’”
Ephesians 3:20 has been a key verse for me in 2017 because the Lord asked me to decree this over all of our ministry partners (supporters) throughout this year. I’ve prayed it and decreed it more this year than any other year. As I’ve done this I have been taken into a posture of this “more” like never before.
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 3:20-21
During the time of worship that day I experienced myself being drawn through a veil in the spirit. It was as if I went from a limited realm where boundaries were firm to a limitless realm where the victory that Jesus obtained for me ushered me into vast and open place. I felt an immediate expansion in my faith, in my sight and in my understanding. Everything in this place was pleasant to my soul and spirit. Then I heard the verse,
“Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely I have a delightful inheritance.”
Psalm 16:5-6
Since that moment I have experienced a delightful and vast place for my spirit to live and move. This is the place where Heaven is experienced on Earth. In the place “beyond the veil of victory” we can enter into the delightful inheritance that is ours as sons and daughters of the Most High God.
You too are invited to live in the fullness of the victory that Jesus bought for you. He defeated everything- even death; removing it’s sting. We can live and die in victory. Defeat was swallowed up in the death and resurrection of our precious Jesus. Eternal inheritance was secured and is available even as we live in our Earthly bodies.
The enemy works hard to keep us living in the natural (seen) realm of limits, hard labor and defeat but this is not where we are to live. We are to go (by faith and grace) through the veil of victory into living in the “exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think”. This is the place where we experience delightful pleasures and limitless provisions for our journey.
Jesus is the veil of victory and He is inviting His people to go through His victory so that you can live in an extraordinary place of freedom and joy.
“…by this new and living way which He initiated and opened for us through the veil [as in the Holy of Holies], that is, through His flesh…”
Hebrews 10:20
He is the door, the veil and the victory. His promises of an abundant life are real and obtainable through the grace of our Savior. Leave the space and place of limits and of defeat. Begin to live in the place of victory and delightful pleasures…in both life and death.
