This morning the Spirit of the Lord took me to the children’s story of “The Little Engine That Could”. In this story a little train engine needs to get over a steep mountain. As it embarks on what appears to be an “impossible” journey, this little engine repeats the words, “I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…” Though it is a great struggle, the little engine makes it over the mountain.
The Lord changed the story on me today. I saw His people standing before a steep mountain. As they embarked on the journey to cross over the mountain that stood before them they began to shout, “I know I can, I know I can, I know I can…”
As they shouted this proclamation they became like a bullet train that went right through the mountain with great speed and strength.
“For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
Turn your “think” into a “know”! Thinking comes from the natural mind but knowing comes from your spirit. “Think” involves doubt but “knowing” is absolute! God’s promises and words are true and sure (absolute!). It is time to come into agreement with faith and with what God has spoken to you. Your agreement will accelerate you through the mountain that has overshadowed your promise.
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1
For all of you who have been seeing the numbers 111…it is your launch code to go through the mountain that stands before you with ASSURANCE and CONVICTION.
It is time to change your words from think to know. You will go through that mountains and see faith fulfilled.
