Dear Blog Friends~
September 24th is our 34th wedding anniversary! I had been praying about surprising my husband with a night away to celebrate. To our surprise some precious friends offered to give us some time away at the ocean. What an overwhelming blessing!
I would like to make this time as special as possible by having dinners paid for, travel covered and special outings. He truly has made all of my writing possible by handling everything in our home and lives each morning so that I have time to seek the Lord and write. He has honored me and treated me with such love and adoration throughout the years. I felt that this year the Lord desires to “pour it back upon him”.

Love is in the air! Help me to honor this man who has loved me so well and made a place for me to have time to write God’s love for you!
We were married on the 24th day of the ninth month and this verse has been very precious to us,
“‘From this day on, from this twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, give careful thought to the day when the foundation of the LORD’s temple was laid. Give careful thought: Is there yet any seed left in the barn? Until now, the vine and the fig tree, the pomegranate and the olive tree have not borne fruit. “ ‘From this day on I will bless you.’ ””
Haggai 2:18-19
From this day on I will bless you! I declare this over you as well. May your barns be full and our vines be heavy with fruitfulness!
