Oceans in the Desert

As I awoke this morning and was immediately taken into a vision where I saw a two-sided scale that had been filled with weights of deception. One side of the scale was filled with unrighteous acts of evil being called good and good being called evil. The other side of the scale was weighted by injustices that violated God’s true justice, biased judgements and demonic verdicts. The scale was not balanced and was constantly being added to causing one side to tip up and then the other— as if balance was not the goal but merely to be the weightier side (keeping truth off-balance). The scale was badly tarnished and had a residue of filth was upon it.

Then I saw the Spirit of the Lord come and shake the scale until the weights of deception fell away. The scale was then cleaned from the residue of filth these deceitful and detestable weights had caused. I saw it polished until it looked brand new. Then the Lord put the true and proper weights of His Kingdom’s righteousness and justice back upon this scale. It came into perfect balance. Then I saw the word, “Reformation.”

I believe that this is a vision to be prayed and decreed by God’s people over our religious, political and social institutions. God wants to bring reformation to the church, the political establishments and the social structures— and to individuals who have been under the weight of deception. We can partner with Him in prayer and praise over this—

“…but let him that glories glory in this, that he understands me and knows me, that I am the Lord who establishes mercy, judgment, and righteousness in the earth: for in these things I delight, said the Lord.”
