“He will not let your foot be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” – Psalm 121:3–4
As you know, Israel was attached without provocation or warning this morning. Civilians and soldiers have been killed, kidnapped and injured in this unprecedented attack. War has begun in Israel.
Now is the time to pray for Israel and declare God’s covenant promises into the spirit realm— it is time to put that belt of truth upon the waist of Israel, raise your shield of faith over Israel, protect the heart of Israel with the breastplate of righteous, put salvation on her head as a helmet of protection, pick up the sword of the Spirit and cut through the darkness, and lastly put the shoes of the gospel of peace upon the beautiful feet (the land) of Israel.
Also, pray for America. Pray that our leaders would be granted God’s wisdom and that they would respond to what He asks— even if they do not know that it is Yahweh who is asking and counseling them. Pray for the body of Christ to arise to stand with the One who will neither sleep or slumber but who keeps Israel from generation to generation. May a prayer vigil be going on day and night from all around the world.
“This is what the Lord Almighty says: “The people of Israel are oppressed, and the people of Judah as well. All their captors hold them fast, refusing to let them go. Yet their Redeemer is strong; the Lord Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land…”
Jeremiah 50:33-34
We will stand with God and vigorously defend their cause until there is rest in the land once again. We put our trust in the Lord for He is our hope and our defender.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem!
