Jeffrey and I will have been asked to be a part of a gathering of leaders from across the US and Canada being held in Houston, Texas in late August. It will be a time of joining together in oneness and unity for the sake of both nations.
Though it is a “by invitation only” gathering— we believe that God will use it for the purpose of linking of hearts and hands as we join relationally and spiritually. There is a great anticipation to see what God will do as we humbly gather to seek his face and to join our hearts with his. We know that this is a critical time in both nations— God has wisdom and plans to provide answers as we join together.
I see in the spirit a vast table being set across both nations where all who desire can sit down at it to find family, belonging and refuge. We will begin to set the table until it is ready to be gathered around.
This trip is costing us around $2000 after travel, lodging, food, etc. Due to God’s request over the past year for us to focus on the Portland, Oregon region, we have not traveled the way we have in years past. Yet, God continues to provide as we obey his instructions. We would like to invite you into this trip by asking you to consider generously sowing it our expenses to go. We have also asked a small group of leaders from the West Coast (California, Oregon and Washington) to join us in Houston for this first fruits event.
The following month we will be flying to Washington DC and Virginia to join our hearts and hands with our team on the ground in DC. We will also get to see our son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Our time in Washington DC will only cost us flights and food since lodging is provided. We are hoping to be able to speak in the Manassas area of Virginia while we are there.
We are so grateful that God has given us the green light to travel again and to be able to come together with like-minded and humble leaders who we can worship, pray and stand with for the sake of the name of the Lord in North America.
