A year ago I heard the Spirit of the Lord say these words,
“Watch My hand of might come to deliver people from the pursuit and plunder of the enemy. Watch My breath blow away the darkness that has sought to consume many of My people. I Am the Lord who still parts the Red Sea and swallows the great armies that violently pursue those who are Mine.”
What I didn’t know when I heard these words is that exactly one year later— I would watch God part the sea on behalf of our family in a moment of miraculous turnaround and we would walk into a promised that had been made over ten years earlier! We just experienced an absolute turnaround, a huge breakthrough, a truly miraculous event and a victory that appeared might never come.
The Lord knows the right timing of these things, even when it seemed late or delayed. It is like when he parted the Red Sea (just in the nick of time) to save His people from being destroyed by Pharaoh’s army— so He is doing it again!
At the time that I heard the word, I also saw in my spirit that many of you were feel surrounded by what looks to be sure defeat— an army of enemies at your back and a massive obstructing the way forward. I now see this again for many. But he wants you to hear this, “God is not finished with your story.” Trust in the Lord with your whole heart and believe that as you do, he will rescue and save you. Many of you are about experience miracles that bring a turnaround to what you’ve been facing. He will part the sea that stand before you and you will cross over into your breakthrough and promise.
A great hope came upon me for God’s people as I heard these words,
“Turnarounds, miracles, breakthroughs and victories.”
Then I heard the verses from Exodus 15,
“Your right hand, O Lord, is glorious in power. Your right hand, O Lord, smashes the enemy. In the greatness of your majesty, you overthrow those who rise against you. You unleash your blazing fury; it consumes them like straw. At the blast of your breath, the waters piled up! The surging waters stood straight like a wall; in the heart of the sea the deep waters became hard.” Exodus 15:6-8
The enemies that have surrounded you are his enemies as well. The Lord is a mighty warrior and is about to unleash his blazing fury to consume them. Though the enemy boasts and stands in arrogant confidence of his victory— the Lord has sudden turnarounds, miracles, breakthroughs and victories through the might of his right hand and the breath of his mouth. I see this for individuals, families, and nations (Israel, the USA and more).
“But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.” Exodus 15:10
Again I say, trust in the Lord and in the power of his might. He is mighty in battle and able to perform miracles and wonders to save his people and deliver them into freedom, joy and awe.
Declare over your life, your family and over all that seeks to devour you, “The Lord is mighty to save! He is my defender and the One who will save me.”
“The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.” Zephaniah 3:17
This is our God! And, this is your truth and your confident hope. Shake off the fear and renounce every declaration of defeat. Put defeat under your feet and raise up your hands in worship to the One who is in your midst. Receive his love and hear his song of victory over you. Receive his salvation and his deliverance from every enemy that has been sent against you. This is the hour for his people to cast aside all doubt and all accusations against God’s faithfulness. You must return to him with complete trust and confidence in his power to save.
The fury of the enemy’s assault against you is nothing in comparison to the fury of God’s love for you. The sound of his love for you, the breath of his song over you and the might of his fierce desire to save you will cause your enemy to sink like lead in the mighty waters of adversity.
He is your turnaround. He is your breakthrough. He is your miracle worker. He is your victory. Return to the stronghold of hope in Him.
“Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope; today I declare that I will restore to you double.” Zechariah 9:12
