It doesn’t matter how much you love the Lord or how much faith you have— some days will just hit you harder than others. Today was one of those day for me— not for one particular reason but due to numerous things that began weighing upon my heart.
It’s okay to have a hard day— it’s not a sign of losing faith or not trusting the Lord, it’s the proof of your humanity and proof of your continued need for God and His grace.
The important thing is not to yield to negative thoughts. Do not dwell on things that provoke worry and be sure to remind your soul that the Lord has the answers to every situation surrounding you.
Today I was feeling the pain of other’s situation and their needs/struggle. These feelings tried hard to become my own (to interpret my personal outlook) so I quickly brought them to the feet of Jesus because He is the one with all of the answers. Afterwards I left the heaviness of the burdens with Him, he gave me a surprise lunch with a dear friend as a little kiss from Heaven to remind me that He will carry the burdens and give me rest. It was his permission to let go of the things that had filled my mind and to focus on a friend.
So remember— if you have a hard day— it’s okay. You’re human and there is grace to process through your emotions while you allow the Lord to lift the burden from your heart.
He brings peace and assures you to have confidence in His hand to move in every situation you are facing; or those you care about are facing.
“God, keep our eyes fixed on you even when we go through difficult days. Your faithfulness never changes and you never feel burdened or worried! You carry our burdens and in you, we have confident hope.”
Thank you to those who sow into this ministry— I am so thankful for you and I take the time to pray for every person and family that sows into our lives and ministry.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of our fellow American friends and ministry partners. I pray bountiful blessings upon you.
