Prayer Request

Dear Friends,

As most of you know, our family relocated to the Washington D.C. region from Oregon at the close of 2019. God provided the perfect home to accommodate our family and to house a prayer missionary.

This past Tuesday, we received a notification that our landlord (who is in the military) is being reassigned back to the DC region and needs to move back in our home and break our lease. This is legal for those in the military.

They have given us 30-60 days to find a new home. Moving during Covid (and a housing shortage) is not only difficult but very costly when you’re in the DC area.

The question for us now is whether this unexpected situation is the Lord marking the completion of our assignment in this area with a move back to the West Coast or if it is merely a transition into another phase of our assignment here.

We are asking for prayer for God’s wisdom, direction, clarity, peace, grace and strength. We also need clear open doors. We believe that God has established our steps ahead— wherever those may be.

Because this move is unexpected, we are hoping to be able to relocate in the next 30 days to keep our ministry plans for July and August. If we stay in the area this move will still easily be a $5000 expense and if God is calling us back to the West Coast it is closer to a $10,000 move (we have two families to move).

First and foremost, we are asking you to pray. Second, if you could pray about helping us with moving expenses we would be incredibly grateful. We cannot even begin to express our thanks and appreciation for each of you.

We pray Luke over each of you the promise from Luke 6:38,

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

With Love and Gratitude,

Jeffrey & Kathi Pelton
