Oceans in the Desert

This morning I saw two pictures simultaneously. The first was a scrabble game board with scrabble pieces clearly spelling out words of truth and faith. Words like FAITH, PRAYER, PRAISE, WISDOM, HOPE, JOY and LOVE. Then suddenly the picture changed and all of the pieces were scrambled across this game board without a single word being formed— just letter tiles scattered everywhere with no formation. Some tiles were even upside down so that not even the letter was displayed.

After seeing these two pictures I asked the Lord what he was wanting to say and I saw a new scene of him coming to unscramble what had been disrupted. He was turning all the pieces upright and bringing formation back to the words that brought definition and clarity previously.

One by one the Lord is moving things back into place. Though you may have felt disoriented and even displaced in 2021, watch now as the pieces of your life come back into order and clarity is restored. BUT WATCH THIS— I see him adding new words to the board. Words like, “OVERCOMER, PERSEVERANCE, ENDURANCE, CHARACTER, FAITHFULNESS, VICTORY and GLORY.”

What has been forged in your life during this time of feeling “scrambled and undefined” are the characteristics of Christ. These characteristics are rarely formed in seasons of ease but rather in seasons where we must hang onto CHRIST ALONE. This is when you stand when that is all that you have left to do— nowhere else to go, nothing else to turn to, no clear victory in sight except Christ and the Cross. Yet, you have stood in him alone.

Though the enemy was allowed to scramble you and scramble much of what had appeared defined and established in decades past— he will soon see that the posture of those who stood in the midst of chaos and confusion has produced a greater strength and overcoming spirit than has ever been seen before. We are about to come full circle but when we do there will be an unbreakable circle of oneness between God and his bride that will never be broken or separated.

“I have given them the glory you gave me, so they may be one as we are one. I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” John‬ ‭17:22-23‬ ‭

His glory is being restored to the darkest of places and oneness with God will be seen…”then the world will know!” What the enemy meant for evil is now being turned for good. The losses will become gains, the storms will prove to have propelled us further than if had they never come. What had been scattered and scrambled will suddenly be revealed to have produced unity, oneness and an unmovable resolve. What has appeared to be scattered and scrambled bones will suddenly reveal an army— of faithful and overcoming soldiers of light and glory.

The unscrambling has begun!!
