Oceans in the Desert

Each morning I wake up to see these words written on the wall of our bedroom, “His Love Will Calm Your Fears.” They remind me to begin each day in the home and refuge of His love. There I am given peace, rest and joy in His presence.

While panic and negative news fills the airwaves and the conversations all around us, the good news of His love ushers us home to a place where only victory and triumph reside.

“So this is what the Sovereign LORD says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation; the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.” Isaiah 28:16

In the refuge of His love we are able to exchange panic for peace and shaking knees for a sure foundation. The home of His love is filled with every good and perfect gift— there is no lack within a life who’s foundation is Christ.

“The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” Matthew 7:25

Our home and place of refuge is built upon the Rock of our Lord— and it withstands every storm, flood and wind that comes. The life built on trust in Jesus will not fail or fall. Your fears are calmed and you can find rest and comfort from the surrounding storms.

I hear in my spirit, God declaring and releasing a blessing upon the homes of those who trust in Him. For they have an unshakable hope— an eternal hope that cannot be stolen. He is releasing mercy, comfort, peace, provision and gifts from above. Because you have built your home on the Rock of your salvation— He says, “Wisdom has built your walls and My love has become the shelter and cover over you. I am pouring blessing from Heaven upon your heart and your home even now.”

“By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Proverbs 24:3-4

I see the storehouse of Heaven opening up to shower you and your household with abundant blessings. I see this happening upon your hearts and your homes even today. Why? BECAUSE YOU HAVE MADE THE LORD YOUR REFUGE AND BUILT YOUR HOUSE UPON HIM!

“Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Psalm 91:1-2

He is the God of mercy and the God of miracles. He looks with favor upon you and causes His favor to go before you. He is turning ashes into beauty and mourning into joy. His blessing is upon you. This is not to be a time of dread but of joy and expectation. YOU WILL SEE THE GOODNESS OF GOD IN THE LAND OF THE LIVING.

Shake off the dread, the threats of doom and the hopelessness that is in the homes of the wicked— for you are blessed and you have hope because His love NEVER FAILS!

“The LORD’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.” Proverbs 3:33

Rejoice today and open your arms and hearts to receive the blessings that are being showered upon you today.
