Oceans in the Desert

If you have been through a long season of storms, then be aware of this— the storms and trials impart perseverance and endurance if you will allow the Spirit to use them for your benefit and good. The rains that come can be used to wash you from the lies that had tormented you, the insecurities that tried to define you and the wrong identity that was put upon you. Your stormy season can make or break you— depending on how you posture yourself. They will either make you a victim or victor— so posture yourself in the truth of His redemptive victory and expect to come forth as a victor!

I have continued to see a “rain of truth” washing over His people. The storms were designed to be overcoming storms. They defined and prepared the overcomers, who are now being positioned with great authority and a spirit of truth resting upon their lives. The storms came and unveiled or uncovered the lies, the cracks and the places that the enemy used as entrance points but the storm also washed, repaired and strengthened theses areas so that enemy has nothing (no foothold) in you.

“I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me, but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me. “Come now; let us leave.” John‬ ‭14:30-31‬ ‭

The prince of the world came and he tried to sift you out of the family of God but God is using it to sift out the footholds of the enemy in your life. God is turning the tables on him and causing you to overcome. Truth will wash over you like rain and transition you into positions of authority and anointing.

“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”” John‬ ‭8:32‬ ‭

Continue to allow truth to be your guide. May you be clothed in truth, stand upon truth, release truth and trample down every lie that attempts to usurp truth. You are a victorious overcomer. You are a son or daughter of royalty that is being prepared to rule and reign from a place of righteousness, peace and wisdom. Thank Him for your storm and allow the work of His Spirit to prepare you to walk in His call upon your life.
