Oceans in the Desert

In times and seasons of transition everything can seem unsure and unfamiliar. Throughout the world we are living in times that feel unsure and unfamiliar with all the different changes occurring on the global stage. In the earthly realm the landscape can appear fearful and glib but there is another realm that is even more real where the landscape is beautiful, hopeful and glorious…that is the Heavenly realm.

Some of you may lay down at night and suddenly get hit with a sense of hopelessness or despair or walk into an atmosphere that has heaviness and begin to feel something that isn’t the hope of heaven. I am a glass half full type of person so I am usually hopeful, expectant and tend to remember the good things and forget the negative things. So, when an unfamiliar and unnatural emotion hits me, I will try to stop and discern what is happening around me or if the enemy is sending something against me.

I experienced one of those moments this morning so I asked the Holy Spirit what this was and He said,

“This is what many of my people are experiencing at this time.”

Then I asked Him,

“What should I do?”

He answered,

“Begin to speak truth and imagine miracles.”

I began to repeat aloud the truth found in the goodness of God. I quoted promises and scriptures of hope and life. Even though my soul felt heavy, I knew in my spirit that God was able to do exceedingly, abundantly more than I can ever ask or imagine. I began to let my sanctified imagination envision miracles and victory. As I did this I could feel hope returning and his faithfulness invading my soul.

Then I heard the Lord say,

“Tell My people that I am in their corner.”

When I heard these words even greater hope rushed in upon my soul and my spirit rose up in truth. If God is for me than who can be against me? The enemy has once again over-played his hand. He has created circumstances that appear impossible and unimaginable for our human minds to comprehend how victory is possible.

THE ENEMY HAS CREATED THE PERFECT ENVIRONMENT FOR MIRACLES!

God is in your corner and He has victory with Him. As you go out today to face circumstances that appear impossible know that you are on the verge of a miracle. Begin to speak truth, declare His goodness and cling to His promises and Word. He is in your corner with the miracle that you need to bring victory to unimaginable situations.

It is time to imagine miracles! God wants to rewire and purify your imagination so that you dream and think on what is miraculous and victorious. It is as though the seasons of hardship have sought to shut down the place of imagination in many of God’s sons and daughters. Imagination is not a place of false hopes but a place where dreams and miracles are envisioned. God is taking our imagination back for His dreams and purposes.

Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do super-abundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21 (Amplified Version)

He is able!!
