Oceans in the Desert

As I came before the Lord today, I saw Him approaching a beautiful gateway that led to His Father’s house. All around the gate were those who felt as though they had become lame and disqualified (or unable) to enter into His Father’s house. They had lost their identity and had been reduced to “lame beggars.” Jesus was coming toward these men and women, not with merely a hand out, but with His hand extended out.

These people who felt lame— emotionally, physically, mentally, relationally and even spiritually— were about to have a “Beautiful Gate” moment. Jesus is not going to leave you where you are and give you a hand out, He is extending His hand to you and saying, “Take My hand, rise up and walk.” As you receive His hand, you will be healed! You will no longer be begging for a hand out but because you received His extended hand and you will go forth leaping, dancing and praising God (Acts 3:1-11).

There is a “beautiful gate” miracle that is being extended to you. You will receive compassion and a miraculous healing for the places that have left you feeling lame and left you feeling more like a beggar rather than a son or daughter.

The lame man, who daily begged for a hand out at the Beautiful Gate (as people made their way to the temple), encountered Peter and John on that historic day. Though they did not have a coin to hand him— Peter extended his hand and said, “Get up and walk.” As he took Peter’s hand and stood up, his feet and ankles were restored to normal. He then accompanied them into the temple to worship.

Today, I see Jesus approaching a gate where many of the “lame” have gathered. His hand is extended with the power of compassion and healing flowing from it. He doesn’t want to give you a hand out that leaves you lame and outside of the temple begging— He wants to heal you so that you can leap, dance and praise God— then go with through the gate and into His Father’s house with Him.

There are about to be miraculous healings for many who have felt spiritually and emotionally lame. They will be transformed from beggars to sons and daughters. Physical healings, mental healings, emotional healings, and spiritual healings will flow from His hand and dancing will break out in the streets, in our churches and in our homes. Even relationships will be healed and restored and entire families will rise up and leap for joy.

“Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed—and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.” Acts‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭

This will be the testimony of many!
