Oceans in the Desert

2023 is in full swing now. We’ve already have had a busy January but February begins our new year travels. On February 7th we will fly from Portland, Oregon to Washington D.C. to meet with our “DC Team” to join them for all that God is doing on the ground and throughout the nation. We will also have the opportunity to visit our family in Northern Virginia and speak at some churches in the region.

We will also be meeting with Lamplighter’s Ministries (Jonathan & Jolene Hamill) to hear from the Lord what is on His heart for “East and West” to partner together in during 2023. These strategic times of meeting together are always significant as we wait on the Lord and join together the pieces that we are each carrying.

After returning to the Pacific Northwest we will be working alongside the senior leadership team of our church as we continue to transition into a new season that prepares the Portland, Oregon region and the church for all that the Lord has spoken to us and our local leaders. This is an exciting season but also a challenging time as we move out of the “familiar” in order to receive the blueprints of a new wine skin and way of equipping. It is always refining and stretching to go through these significant changes.

In late March and early April we will be traveling to California before heading to Israel in mid-April for a prophetic journey with Jonathan and Jolene Hamill, along with a team of people that God is gathering in Israel for a strategic initiative.

Since 2019 the Lord has had Jeffrey and I travel far more for the purpose of walking out prophetic and strategic initiatives that He has directed us to do or to be a part of. These types of journeys are different than when we traveled to speak because the travel is not paid for, nor do we receive payment for our time/ministry. We absolutely love being able to say yes to the Lord but it requires us to have the body of Christ partner with us to help financially cover the costs of our travel expenses.

We have been extraordinarily blessed by the response of His people— our family in Christ throughout the nations— to go above and beyond (even throughout Covid) to help us to fulfill all that the Lord has asked us to do and where he has asked us to go. In 2022 you funded two back to back ministry tours that spanned over fifteen states— including New York City on 9/11, Boston, Virginia Beach, Cape Cod/Plymouth and many other destinations that are expensive cities to stay in. But we lacked nothing because of people like you.

We want to give you the opportunity to stand with us in faith and obedience (and give your yes) as we give our yes to all that the Lord is asking us to do in 2023. We need to fund our upcoming trip to Washington D.C. and Virginia— we also need to prepare to fund our time in Israel. We know that we will have a clearer understanding of what God is asking of us after our time in Washington D.C. regarding more travel for meeting with His people in different states and nation— as well as in the Pacific Northwest. Even our work there (as well as our living expenses) are funded by those led to support our ministry.
