By Kathi Pelton
Last week while I was in prayer the Lord took me into a vision regarding those who feel surrounded by obstacles on every side. In the vision I saw people who could not move forward, could not go back and felt as though they had been led into a trap with no way out.
The scene in the vision was similar to when Moses had led the children of Israel out of their slavery and captivity only to be found with the Red Sea in front of them and Pharaoh’s army approaching behind them. As I saw the vision I heard the words,
“These people feel hemmed into an impossible situation where they are surrounded by obstacles. But tell them they are hemmed into My promises that will not fail them. They can extend their ‘staff of faith’ and step into the power that comes from my promises.”
The Red Sea wasn’t the children of Israel’s problem, nor was Pharaoh’s army— their problem was that fear caused them to forget the promises of God. He promised to never leave them and never forsake them and HE KEEPS HIS PROMISES!
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37
Moses had a staff but it only worked when “in faith” he extended it. It is time for you to extend your Luke 1:37 promise as a staff of faith.
“But Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” Matthew 19:26
ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
There is no obstacle that is too big for God, no situation that can stand in his way and no impossibility that can stop his power. Whatever you are facing— remember this, “You are hemmed into God’s promises and he will not fail you.”
He is about to do exceedingly MORE than you have even thought to ask for — because you are hemmed into his covenant promises. Your sea will part, your enemies will not succeed, and your fears will be proven wrong because God is with you.
“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20
Now, put fear under your feet and stand on the faith that believes in his promises. And remember…
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? – Romans 8:31

Sow into your promise!
