Though You Feel Lost, Help is on the Way!

Today I saw a vision of a young child lost in a dark forest, alone and afraid. This child was calling for their daddy and didn’t know which way to go. I then saw this child sit down in utter defeat and terror.

As this vision ended I knew that the Spirit was showing me a picture of how many of His sons and daughters are feeling right now.

Then I heard this verse,

“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.”
Isaiah 43:19-21

Though the way to go may be unknown to at this point the Father wants you to know that He will make a way for you! He will make a way and give you streams to drink from. He will not leave you alone, lost and without the provisions and support that you need. Where every way has seemed blocked and every effort thwarted (leaving you in a place of absolute desperation), now it is time to rest from your strength and striving and look up!

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”
Psalm 46:1

For a couple of weeks now I have heard the phrase in my spirit, “God is taking up your cause.” When I hear things numerous times I often realize that it is a corporate word even more than a personal word.

You don’t have to figure things out or find your own way because God has taken up your cause and is assuring you that He will give the wisdom that you need. He will set you securely on the path that He is making for you and you will find all the provisions you will need upon this path.

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Just as in the vision of the child lost in the dark forest crying for his daddy…know this, YOUR FATHER HAS HEARD YOUR CRY FOR HELP!

Now be still and wait for His help and salvation. Angels are with you to minister to you even now. Daddy has heard you. Move from the place of calling for help to the place of thanking Him that He has heard your cry and is making a way for you.

“And Moses said to the people, ‘Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.’” Exodus 14:13-14

The Lord will fight for you! This is the hope that assures you and the peace that surpasses your current understanding. Stand still and watch His deliverance.

God is causing the Earth to align with Heaven on your behalf. He has taken up your cause and has sent His Comforter to hold you and His angels to keep your foot from stumbling. He will revive you again.

Rest, be still, take a deep breath and acknowledge His presence with you.

Earlier this week to me these words, “It’s going to be better than you think!” They are His word to you and to me.

    Thank you so much Kathi for this word. I know how you feel. I love your blog & you have blessed me many times. You’ve shared about the poverty spirit & the orphan spirit. Both of these spirits have operated in my family for generations. I was feeling pretty discouraged today and your word was sent at the right time.

    Currently I have been praying for God to do a miracle in my finances. Knowing that this was not going to be done in my strength, I felt led to tithe $100 into a ministry. I was unemployed, a month behind in my rent, my car payment and so many other bills so this was a big sacrifice to me. A few days later, I was offered a job from my temp company that had ignored me for almost a year. This was a few weeks ago. Praise God! And guess what, the job is at an investment banking firm in an elite area of town. God has a sense of humor for sure.

    I was a little bit late in realizing this but God has also told me, “help is on the way” but it was from the movie Mrs. Doubtfire. I kept hearing it but I thought it was my own mind because I often quote movies. (here is the clip if you haven’t seen the movie. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGUORSB1V14 ) God prompted this into my remembrance when I re-read your word. Although I am still a month behind in rent and my car payment still hasn’t been paid, I was able to pay for my phone, food and other bills that were gathering late fees. Last week God showed me that I had been worshiping the idol of Worry. I would let myself be consumed with finding new ideas to earn money, after all I needed to be a good steward of what he was giving me. No, I was trying in my own strength to get out of debt. I have always paid off my debt really fast for fear of a bad credit score. You mentioned in your article that the poverty and orphan spirit operate out of a place of fear. I had to ask God to forgive me. I even got in an argument with a yogurt shop employee about a 15% discount that I had been receiving at the store for months. If I wasn’t in such a dire place with my finances, would I have cared? No, I would have given grace and paid the full price.

    All of this said, I really do appreciate all of your words. This one was timely and confirming. Praise God for you and I am standing in agreement with you as God will supply all of your needs.
