As the Houston Astro’s won the World Series last night I immediately heard the words from Haggai 2:23,
“But when this happens, says the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, I will honor you, Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel, my servant. I will make you like a signet ring on my finger, says the LORD, for I have chosen you. I, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!”
Just as your home team received their championship rings so will the church receive a signet ring of authority. You will overtake the rivals and enemies that have come against you and you will be used to repair ancient ruins (cities). You will be one of the cities of transformation that God will raise up.
Last night was a sign in the natural that announced your “lift off”.
You will not only rebuild your city but be used to rebuild the according to God’s original blueprint (intent/plans) for your city, state and for the nation. Out of Texas will come decrees that rebuild what the enemy has destroyed within our nation.
God will use you to flood the nation with His mercy and families will find home within your walls. What was lost will not even compare to the gain that will come forth from you.
There was a countdown in the last innings of the game where all awaiting the “1, 2, 3 outs” in the bottom of the ninth…but in the spirit I heard, “3, 2, 1” and saw you launch.
Finally, in the moments after the game one of the Astro’s players asked his girlfriend to marry him and in front of everyone he put a ring on her finger. This was another prophetic sign of the ring of authority (signet ring) and intimacy (engagement ring) being placed on the hand of God’s people in Texas.
Mercy has triumphed over judgement and the grace of God has now turned the tables on all that was set against you.
Houston…you have lift off!
