I recently had an encounter with the Lord regarding 2021 and beyond that was both simple yet profound. In the encounter I heard the words, “It will be either a wrestle or a dance.”
Then I saw a vision of Jesus inviting his people to dance with him. I knew that he had been teaching his remnant to move in step with him in a new, more aligned way during 2020. It will be so vitally important to “let him lead” in the days ahead. The dance will be intimate, face to face, and hand in hand but his feet will lead and ours must learn to follow. There is a saying that dance instructors use that is important to remember,
“Don’t look at your feet but rather look in my eyes and your feet will follow.”
As we keep our eyes fixed upon his, our feet will easily follow.
Then I saw others who insisted on functioning the way that had always done before. They were still trying to take the lead (in their personal Christian life, in family, in ministry, in business and in government). They immediately began stepping on Jesus’ feet and getting all tangled up in his steps. What was designed to be a dance suddenly became a wrestle. It will be a much harder path for those who do not draw near and let the Lord lead.
I choose the dance and I pray that you will too! It is time to draw very near— take his hand, and fix your eyes upon his— let the dance begin.
“We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.” Hebrews 12:2
As states are closing down more and more once again due to Covid-19, it prevents those who do itinerant ministry from traveling or gathering. We will continue do all that the Lord asks us to do but we are asking you if you will take a moment to pray and ask the Lord if you are to stand with us financially during this time. We know that we have been called to the Washington DC region for such a time as this.
A Vision of “The Lost Boys” (America) Kathi Pelton
As I was waiting upon the Lord this morning, I heard the Spirit of the Lord speak to me saying, “The lost boys of America have finally found their family.” After hearing those words, I went into a vision of the colonists coming upon the shores of America, but they looked like the “lost boys” from the story of Peter Pan. In this vision they learned how to thrive on their own, to survive on their own and how to lead on their own but never were nurtured or strengthened by the beautiful design God gives of having a father and a mother. This vision went from four hundred years of “independence” to today (2020). Suddenly I saw the nations being reunited with these “lost boys” (America) and they embraced them as a father and mother would if they had been separated from their child. They wept over them, surrounded them, blessed them and committed to never let them be alone again. As this happened the lost boys shed their garments of “being lost” and they were clothed with the garments of a prince. Strength, wisdom, interdependence and sonship came upon them. The spirit of adoption also came upon them and they could move and live from a place of blessing, acceptance and love.
As a nation we are in some of the most turbulent times that we have ever experienced, I have been so honored to watch nation after nation come and weep with us, weep for us and pour out both repentance and blessings upon us. They have become one with us and us with them. It has been overwhelming to see the beauty of the body of Christ throughout the nations embrace us and commit to never let us walk alone again. From England, to Canada, to China, to Indonesia, to Russia…and so many more. They are declaring over us, “You are not alone!” I have wept more in the past few month then I have in years- not because of the chaos in our nation but because of the beauty of the nations coming to comfort us and move from cursing to blessing. The global ecclesia has become like a father and mother to us- they have surrounded us and are providing the love and nurture that we need to become all that God intended America to be.
In the midst of acts of betrayal, fraud, accusations and hatred in our streets and in those who are known as leaders in our nation, there is a higher truth and reality that is happening above it all and it is in complete contrast to the chaos. That truth is that the body of Christ throughout the nations is embracing us for the first time. As we approach the 400-year anniversary of when the Mayflower came upon our shores, I believe that we have been prepared “for such a time as this!” Throughout the Bible we see that God considers 400 years a spiritually significant time period- especially regarding the preparation of a nation. God has a plan for our nation that will bless the nations of the world. It has taken us 400 years to be spiritually prepared to walk in the fullness of His plan and it has also taken the blessing of the nations to strengthen us and become “one with us” so that we can stand up and walk in His purposes.
2020 has been our year of maturing. It has opened our eyes to see our lack, our need and to yield to our God in humility and clarity. I believe that a “spirit of adoption” has come upon us and a oneness with Christ and with His ecclesia throughout the nations. It is the birthing of the answer to the prayer Jesus prayed in John 17:20-23,
“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.”
There could not be oneness or unity if one nation were divided from all the others- not only divided but cursed. God in His sovereignty has used this year to turn that around. What we are seeing in not mere “acts of kindness” but a sincere and deeply felt heart response to a revelation from the Lord. We were made ready and they were made ready.
“You turned my mourning into dancing; You peeled off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing Your praises and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks forever.” Psalm 30:11-12

During a dream last night— that may have actually been a spiritual encounter— I was taken before the throne of God where I laid before the Lord regrets, sin and shame from issues and moments that went back twenty and thirty years ago. Many of these were things that I did not remember or had “chosen to forget” out of shame or regret in my youthfulness and immaturity. I somehow understood that these “forgotten memories” or hidden places of shortcomings, failures and sin were carrying roots of shame and regret that were still attached to my soul. They were like a debt that had chained me to a forgotten failure.
The beautiful thing was that as I brought each one before the Lord, I also brought every person that my failings had a direct result upon to be healed and set free. Though there was pain involved, there was such a beautiful release and intercession for anyone I had sinned against in my life. Though I absolutely believe that all of these sins had been forgiven long ago, the Lord (in His mercy) send an angel to usher me into a deeper place that removed the impact and harm that had come upon my soul and upon the soul of others through my past sins. It was a “jubilee for the soul!”
“…and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Matthew 6:12
I was experiencing in this dream (or dream encounter) the cancellation of debts that had enslaved deep and hidden parts of my soul. I truly had no idea that I was carrying these old “debts.” Whether or not God saw them as debts (because He paid our debts and forgives our sins); somehow, in the deep recesses of my soul I carried them as chains (or roots) of shame.
I would normally keep an encounter like this private due to the personal nature of it but felt to share it with you because I sense that God has sent out angels to give souls a “jubilee” from regrets and debts of past failures. Again, I wasn’t even consciously aware of any of these areas nor had I even remembered most of the memories.
Since God does not remember our sins of the past that have been put under the blood of Jesus, then why did I have this encounter? I believe that it is for two reasons; the first was that these particular instances had marked my soul with a wound of shame that I was not able to deal with at the time they occurred; therefore, I received forgiveness but my soul held onto regret and shame that I needed to be set free from. The second reason is that in this dream/encounter, I was able to become aware of and intercede for all of those who “the sins of my youth” might have harmed in any way.
As I was able to bring these people before the Lord I saw angels rush to them to heal old wounds and remove spiritual scar tissue that has affected them negatively in any way; large or small. I encountered angels tending to my soul as well— to unentangle and free parts of my soul that were rooted in the shame of past sins.
God desires our freedom! Sometimes we don’t even know that we aren’t free from certain things because we’ve never experienced full freedom. Again, I had no idea that these roots of shame or regret even were buried in the recesses of my soul. Yet, just the day before I had invited God to send an angel to fully align my soul with greater freedom and greater healing.
I want to share one last thing— I did not hear or see this but there was a moment in this dream that I brought before the Lord areas of long past struggles and fears regarding provision that had caused me to make bad financial decisions (out of fear) that directly affected my family. As I brought those regrets before the Lord I had the strongest sense that many people where going to have a similar encounter that would usher in a financial jubilee as well. In December 2019 I felt that the Lord said that 2020 would be a year that many would receive their “jubilee!” I saw financial debts canceled and paid in full.
I know that my personal experience was a “jubilee of the soul” but am also expectant that we will begin to hear reports of people having a financial jubilee as well. Spiritual, emotional and financial debts will be canceled and the enslavement that is attached to “old debt” will come off; like chains falling away, so that people can walk forward in new freedom!
This is a time of reset! It is a reset for each of us personally and a reset for His people corporately. He does not want the enemy to have any inroads or access to our souls or our lives from past sins, failures, regrets or debts. He is the God of Jubilee! I declare a spiritual and financial jubilee upon each of you this day!
“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
I always love the Apostle Paul’s honesty regarding his self-evaluations in the scriptures. The more that the beauty and holiness of Christ is revealed to him, the more he realizes how weak, wretched and lacking he is. BUT…he does not at all despair in his self-evaluation because it merely causes the “glory of God” to be revealed all the more.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
We all have weaknesses and areas that we battle for greater victory in. Some days end in great triumph, as Christ’s beauty and power is made manifest in you, and other days you lay down more aware of your weaknesses then ever before. It is in those times that, like Paul, that you can boast in your weakness because it is His power that will be seen and His glory that will manifest. On those hard days, before your Father, all that is seen is “Christ in you and His righteousness covering you.”
You are clothed in Christ. When you approach your Heavenly Father, He does not see your shortcomings, your weaknesses or flaws— He sees His Son! There is no stain upon Him and therefore— no stain is seen upon those who have been “baptized into Christ.”
“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians 3:27
Of course this does not mean that you make concessions for sin or that you do not fight against the temptation that comes but it does mean that He covers your nakedness in garments of righteousness and salvation. You need to continually put on “the new self” and yet know that when you fall short that you are still “Clothed in Christ.”
“I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10
What a beautiful truth that you can cling to! This gives you great cause to rejoice and be joyful. Yet, the enemy desires to steal this promise and truth from you. He sends his demons to watch for your areas of weakness, to provoke you in that area and to mock you in regards to that weakness. They whisper accusations to bring you shame and to cause you to hide from God. And yet, you must remember that you are not naked and exposed but clothed in robes of righteousness— the righteousness of Christ. There is no need to hide for a garment has been provided for you.
Once again, though you are clothed in Christ— daily remember to wear His righteousness in a manner that displays His worth and faithfulness. Just as you take up the armor of God each day, so you can train your soul to get dressed each morning in garments of righteousness.
When I became a Christian at 18 years old— I drastically changed the way that I had previously dressed. My nakedness had been exploited and even used for my advantage to gain what I desired. But when I was baptized into Christ, I was not only spiritually clothed and covered with His robe of righteousness but I also had to learn how to outwardly dress different and how to live differently. Now, 38 years later, I am still pressing in, through the help of the Holy Spirit, to see my life match and align with the garments that He has placed upon me. I do not want to be a stumbling block for those who see me therefore I deeply desire and fight to see Christ revealed in every part of me.
You are on a journey into maturity. It is so important to know that while you are journeying— “He has you covered!” Otherwise, you would be utterly defeated even before you began. You also must know that the pathway to purity never ends. We will always fall short of His glory but His righteousness is a robe that covers all of our unrighteousness. You are left never left naked and ashamed before your Heavenly Father.
So today get up and say to your soul, “You are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.” Then put your spiritual armor on and go out in victory, boldness, purity and His strength. It’s time to take down some giants by wearing His name!

While I was in worship and prayer yesterday I was suddenly encircled in the most intimate and powerful embrace I’ve have ever experienced— which immediately had me undone. As this happened I saw the “overcoming arms of Jesus” outstretched upon the cross with torn flesh and pierced hands that flowed with blood. I heard the words, “The Lamb has overcome.” Then, suddenly, I found those very arms around me, holding me in an embrace that was releasing love, mercy and overcoming authority into my life.
“But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” Psalm 3:31
His “overcoming arms” around me became like a shield— my glory— and it lifted my head with renewed confidence and courage. I immediately felt an inner-rest come upon me only came through all that He had overcome and defeated. I was no longer weary from all that I saw that needed to be defeated. It became the tangible reality of Zechariah 4:6,
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” Says the Lord of hosts.
His Spirit that is in me carries His overcoming power and authority. His Spirit was allowing me to come into the embrace of the overcoming arms that paid the price for me and defeated sin and death. He overcame all the world! It was like being embraced by the words, “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son.” (John 3:16).
A supernatural inner rest washed over me and through me like a cleansing flood of His finished work. I was brought into the arms of the author and finisher and all striving washed away.
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
Rest in Christ can be present even in the ongoing activity of the believer because it is an inner-rest that goes with you and silences demands while putting an end to striving. It wraps you in the victory and confidence of His finished work as His Spirit works through a yielded vessel. Striving ceases, fears are calmed, demands are silenced and a canopy of love comes over you like the wing of a mother hen over her chicks.
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:41
He is in us, around us, before us and behind us. We have overcome because the Overcomer lives within us. The world may scream loud and demand an audience but the blood of Jesus speaks a better word and defeated the voices of threat and accusation. So we can rest in Him— our Risen King.
“Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1 John 5:51
Come and find rest in the arms of the One who has overcome. Yield to His arms of love that will anoint you with His overcoming authority and seat you in Heavenly places where you will reign with Him forever.
Because He has overcome— you have overcome! Victory is yours.
“To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.” Revelation 3:21
Prayerfully consider sowing a financial seed of “overcoming” into this ministry.
During a time of worship I heard the Lord say to me,
“I’m opening up chambers of revelation. These heavenly rooms are open to My sons and daughters.”
I understood that within these chambers were mysteries, wisdom, supplies and experiences that would be impossible to understand before this time. Within them His people will experience the “more than they can ask or imagine (Eph 3:20)”.
I sense that the opening of these chambers will reveal mysteries that we have not understood before this time. These chambers were created for this kairos time on earth.
The chambers are now open; rooms of healing, rooms where disorder comes into order, rooms filled with blueprints for inventions, rooms with new sounds and new songs, governmental rooms, war rooms with strategic plans and orders, revelation rooms and rooms where intimacy releases secrets that will be entrusted to the bride…creation rooms. Lives will change within these chambers.
I saw a room that I can only describe as a “time chamber”. Within this chamber words that had been spoken in past times were now words. I saw callings, mantels and assignments that were not fulfilled or lived out by lives that had passed awaiting for “such a time as this”. As God’s people entered this chamber these could be brought forth and for lack of a better word, re-activated. Old things were like fresh manna within this room. There is no “past” in this room; only NOW or Kairos time.
“The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth, He who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth, The LORD is His name.” Amos 9:6
We have access to these new Heavenly upper chambers. Creation continues to expand in these chambers and what is contained within these rooms can be brought to earth.
“One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.” Psalm 27:4
Gaze on His beauty, seek His wisdom and ask Him to take you to these new chambers.
As we have now entered the Fall season— a time of celebrations, family and harvest— we are inviting you to become a part of our family by becoming one of our ministry partners through prayer and financial support. We, in turn, commit to praying for your family, home and harvest.
The past week I’ve been working on a elaborate “paint by number” for adults that I bought back when the quarantine began. I honestly have no idea why I ordered it because it’s not something I’d normally buy. As I’ve been working on it today I was amazing at the hundreds of tiny details to be painted and how some of the tiniest spots make the biggest impact on the painting.
As I looked at it the Lord began to speak to me about the intricate details. He said, “Kathi, I don’t only care about nations and initiatives but I care deeply about the ‘seemingly’ tiny things that my sons and daughters love and long for. Many think that I do not care about the small details but they forget that I know the very number of hairs on their head and grains of sand on the seashore. That is who I am. I paid great attention to the details when I made each one of you— and every detail matters to me.”
Then he showed me how some people feel very small and insignificant but how he sees them so very differently. I looked down at my painting where in the midst of large areas of dark and neutral colors there are two small dots of red paint. They literally make all of the large areas almost fade way because they stand out with such vibrancy. That is how he sees many who feel small and insignificant— they stand out like a vibrant beautiful color that draws his eye to them. Every detail matters and every person matters.
So, next time you are wondering if that small detail in your life really matters to God or the small thing that you love or that you do really is seen— then know that it truly does matter to God!
Though I am known for my writing, one of the things that I love to do is to make things in my home beautiful and cozy for my family. One Christmas season, a few years back, I got up in the middle of the night to pray and when I walked into my living room where all the little lights were glowing and revealing the details of my decorations, I heard the Lord’s voice so clearly say to me, “I love to be in your home. I love every detail and the attention you pour into the smallest spaces. I find rest here.” I immediately began to cry because that was one of the most kind and beautiful things he could have said to me. I had never enjoyed my home more than in that moment that we enjoyed it together.
He wants you to know that the pain you feel over something that others would consider insignificant is not insignificant to him. He wants you to know that he loves and cares about the smallest details of how he made you— those are what makes you uniquely “you!” Though you may feel like a little red dot in the midst of a world of broad brush strokes; you were placed in this world at this time to stand out and be an intricate detail in his creation. He sees you, he sees what you love, what you feel passion and pain about, what he placed in you and his image that is in you. You may be one of his favorite resting places!
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31
He is in your details!

We are all made of body, soul and spirit. Because of that, we cannot separate one from another. When our body hurts it affects our soul and spirit— this is true with our souls as well (mind and emotions). When I was young my soul was leading the way— taking me down winding paths of chaotic and often unnecessary turmoil. I made decisions that were based on emotions and viewed the world from whatever my emotional state was on that particular day. This didn’t immediately change after my salvation experience but took years of having the Holy Spirit teach me how to let Him lead. I had to learn how to submit my thoughts and emotions to the peace of Christ and the truth of His word— I had to be given a “renewed and sound mind.”
2020 has been a year that is “supercharged” with mental and emotional extremes. First the pandemic and quarantine (which would have been enough), then the death of George Floyd that turned our nation into something unrecognizable with riots and violence, great political unrest, hatred toward our police, divisions about race and now our entire West Coast in flames. It is enough to challenge the most stable person.
I don’t recount the hard things to remind you of what is negative but to help you to understand that in the midst of all of this there is a real mental warfare that is being fought by all. We live in the Washington DC region and meet with leaders here weekly and they all will tell you that the greatest personal warfare they have to contend with is the “mental warfare.”
So- what does that look like? Often it will hit your soul in a way that causes you to want to disengage and isolate; self-quarantine begins to sound awfully attractive in these times. Many will begin to want to escape into a sort of denial by watching TV or reading or doing whatever is their escape mechanism. These things are not bad if they are in balance but those being hit with mental warfare will sink into these things like a drug that separates them from all the pain.
Another form of mental warfare will come in the form of panic and anxiety that leaves a person feeling as though there is no escape. Thoughts of running or even death will consume their souls. Some people begin to get suspicious of people plotting against them or thinking obsessively about the negative political atmosphere, conspiracies, etc. Some get angry and cynical while others get depressed and hopeless. In any case, the peace of Christ and the perspective of His Spirit will begin to fade away.
This mental warfare must be dealt with and recognized as it begins to take hold; before it takes over! For example, I had a day recently where I felt exhausted and just didn’t want to engage in anything that was on my plate for that day. It was an unnatural exhaustion (I had plenty of rest the night before) that hit my body and my soul. I took time to rest that day but the more I rested the more tired I became and the more I wanted to disengage from everything. I quickly realized that this was mental warfare because I didn’t even want to spend time with the Lord, with people I love and didn’t feel joy in the Lord— just “blah.”
I had to get up and begin praying in the spirit, turn on some worship music and exercise my spirit until my soul submitted. After a short time I suddenly felt my energy return and I could think clearly, see clearly and felt joy return. It reminded me of when I’m dealing with low blood sugar and I feel disoriented and fatigued but then I eat something and suddenly I’m back to normal— clear headed and energized.
We are living I times that require our minds, our thoughts and our emotions to be submitting to His Spirit and to the truth of His Word like never before. God has promised us a sound mind but we must do our part to walk in it and keep walking in it.
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7
Fear is like a “power outage” to the soul. Everything goes dark! We must ask for God’s power to remain strong within us so that we walk in the light. For me a key for staying mentally clear is found in Philippians 4:8,
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
Train your mind to focus and think upon these things!!
Most of my family and friends are living on the West Coast and they are dealing with raging fires, evacuations and all sorts of chaos. My mind is with them constantly but if I allow myself to think upon the “what if’s” or the fear then the “power goes out for me!” Darkness will overtake light and I will be ineffective in my prayers and support of them. I must put my hope and faith in the promises of God for those that I love and think on those things as I pray. My prayers must be from the place of light (and peace) and not darkness (and fear).
“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.” Isaiah 26:3
My peace effects my prayers! Therefore my mind must be found in His peace and in absolute trust in Him so that I can receive His wisdom and revelation regarding all that is before us. We want effectual prayers that bring effectual change, Spirit breathed actions and initiatives that come from God alone, peace that changes the atmosphere and thoughts that birth words of hope to those around us. We want to be the image of Christ walking the face of this earth.
Jesus never lost His composer because He knew how to keep His mind focused on things above— even if He had to wrestle in prayer! I have no doubt that Jesus had to deal with this mental warfare that must be overcome by the Spirit. We must not allow ourselves to just sink under it but to wrestle until we rise above it. We must not only work out in our bodies to remain healthy but we must practice a mental work out routine to keep our minds fixed on Christ.
If you need to reach out for help— do so! Don’t let this warfare sink you in the darkness until you cannot breathe. Then manage it daily through prayer, the Word of God and staying engaged with those who love Him. There is no more wasting time!
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” John 14:26
One of the most listened to songs of 2020 is “The Blessing” which is based off of the scripture in Numbers 6:24-26,
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
It is so common for Christians to say, “God bless you.” to a friend or as a salutation and yet somehow we hesitate to ask the Lord to bless us personally (although we do tend to beg a bit during a time of crisis). Many of His children seem to feel bad or guilty about asking for a blessing.
There are few greater joys that I experienced as a parent then when one of my children ask me for a desire that is on their heart. Whether it is a gift, a place they’d like to go or even a spiritual blessing— what a joy it is for me to fulfill that desire.
Yet, somehow we have come to believe that our Heavenly Father merely wants to take from us and not give to us! We know that is not true because He gave His Son! Who would do that but God? Recently I heard someone say, “It’s not about us, it’s all about Him!” And though I understand this statement, the Holy Spirit spoke to me immediately after hearing it and said, “I made it all about you when I sent My Son to die for you!” Possibly— it is all about “Him and us!”
This morning as I woke up to wait upon the Lord I was surprised to hear something that I didn’t expect. I had just asked Him what was on His heart and what He wanted me to pray into but His response was, “You are on my heart. I merely want to bless you with your hearts desire.” Wow!
“May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” Psalm 20:41
Religion says that we aren’t to ask for blessings— only sacrifice, but the Father wants to give you your hearts desire and make all of our plans succeed! The greatest desire on my heart is for my husband and my children to see their heart’s desires fulfilled and to succeed in all of their plans. Why would God desire anything less for His children?
On August 29th I was praying with a friend on a phone call and as I prayed I saw a “door of hope” before us and Jesus was the key to open the door. In the spirit I unlocked the door and it opened. What stood ahead of me was a land that was so prosperous, beautiful and bountiful that it took my breath away. I asked Him, “Where is this?” And He replied, “This is Jeremiah 29:11.” Just then I looked down at my phone and the time counter on my phone call was at minute 29:11 and the date was the 29th (of August— the 8th month which represents new beginnings).
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
What if you began to ask the Lord to bless you with abundance and success? What if you began, in faith, to pour out your heart’s desires to Him and actually believed that He wanted to grant you those blessings? There is a door of hope standing before you to invite you into the future and hope that prospers you in every way. Have you ever truly considered that He deeply desires to give you success? Sometimes we are more comfortable with putting our faith out for struggles, disappointments and warfare then we are for blessings and success. We expect them and then aren’t surprised when we receive what we put our faith toward. Redirect your faith today! Direct it toward what His Word says and begin to expect it.
Of course we “seek first God and His Kingdom”, we ask for clean hands and pure hearts, we desire to be holy even as He is holy and we always offer a sacrifice of praise— but let’s not forget His benefits and His blessings! He loves to bless His children!!
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” Psalm 34:8
Taste and see His goodness. If we ask for a fish will He give us a stone? Never! Throw every stone that the enemy has given you (and called it God’s answer) back and keep asking for your blessing! A mighty catch is coming! I heard the Holy Spirit speak the word, “Stonewalled!” I knew immediately that the enemy has tried to “stonewall” your requests! This is the definition of stonewall,
“To delay or block (a request, process, or person) by refusing to answer questions or by giving evasive replies.”
God is not stonewalling you but the enemy surely has been trying to. He is trying to delay you and block you from moving forward into receiving your blessing of Jeremiah 29:11 through deceptions and replies that cause you to stop short of all that God has for you.
For weeks now I keep seeing the well-known cartoon of a man pickaxing a tunnel and he gives up right before his breakthrough—when one more strike would have broken through to the other side. The enemy fears the “strikes” that are happening in 2020. God’s people are striking the ground again and again with relentless determination and we are about to break through. Do not give up! Do not give up on your personal breakthrough or the breakthrough for revival in nations. Keep striking the ground.
“How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.” Psalm31:19
You who take refuge in Him…hear this, “The Lord has good things in abundance stored up for you!” Believe again. The Lord bless you and keep you— and May His face shine upon you and be gracious to you!
Will you bless our ministry? We are asking the Lord for those who will commit to support our ministry over the next three months. God has given us assignments to carry out regarding our nation that we need greater financial support to fulfill. Would you say “yes” to being one of those people? If so, go to:https://www.inscribeministries.com/and press the donate button. Thank you and we will pray abundant blessings upon you and your loved ones.
