The Great Exchange: “Change for Change” NOW IS THE HOUR!

by Kathi Pelton

In 2005 my family was living in British Columbia, Canada as directors of a house of prayer called, The War Room. As US citizens we could not receive income and the Lord had asked us to live by faith in His provision.

On one particular Sunday that year we were really in some dire straits. We were out of money with the exception of some change in the bottom of my purse. In Canada they have one and two dollar coins called “loonies and toonies” (the loonie is a one dollar coin and the toonies are the two dollar coin). I had a couple of both coins that I was holding onto for milk for our family.

During the offering that Sunday morning the Spirit asked me to give my all. I thought, “All I have is change.” But once again I heard the Lord ask me to give it all. So when the offering basket came by I put all of my change into it.

Somehow we made it through that week but still nothing came in to help us financially. The next Sunday was an unusually large crowd because our church had just hosted a large conference and many of the attendees had remained onsite to join in our Sunday service. After worship, one of the leaders stood up and said that when he woke up that morning the Lord showed him a couple that had given sacrificially of their lives to move to their nation and lead the house of prayer. He then called us forward. We were taken quite by surprise and went forward. He then placed two chairs in front of the stage and said, “I saw the Lord pouring change over them! Come and pour out the change that you have over them!” He called it a “Loonie/Toonie” offering which was what I had given the week before.

People began to come forward pouring out their coins into our laps. Then they began to give bills and checks (or cheques if you’re Canadian!). We were literally showered in change and provision. When it was done over $7000 was poured over us!!

This memory has been brought back to my mind over and over again for the past month. Whenever it comes I hear the words, “Change for Change!” My sense is that God is about to change the condition of many in “dire straits circumstances” as you give your all. I have found that often in the times where everything stands against us in the natural that we are on the verge of a supernatural intervention and breakthrough. The end is often the signal of a new beginning.

Change is coming! I see it raining gold coins from heaven but as it comes upon you it announces change! It may be a change of circumstances or a change of location, assignments, jobs/positions, etc.—but change is coming!

I see this happening not only for individuals and families but for cities, regions and nations. There is an offering that the Lord is asking His people for in all of these spheres. Whatever the offering He asks for will become the “trip wire” to release the supernatural change that needs to occur. The body of Christ is being invited into participate in an offering that will open up the winds of change!

This is the hour of transition and change for many of you! Do not hold back but give your all. Give an offering of praise, of thanksgiving and of sacrifice that is pleasing to the Lord. Be the trip wire for change!

Today is the day— angels with bags of change are posted and waiting to see who to pour out the “change” upon and the places where the “change” is to break forth! This is a heavenly currency that will manifest as a natural change upon those who enter in and over regions/nations that enter in.

Raise a HALLELUJAH! Change is about to come down!

The Veil Will Be Torn On Capitol Hill

by Kathi Pelton

This morning while I was worshipping I was taken into a powerful vision. In the vision I was kneeling in prayer at the Lincoln Memorial; looming across the National Mall to the Capitol Building. I was kneeling and weeping for our nation from the exact spot that Martin Luther King gave his “I Have A Dream” speech. As I interceded I suddenly saw the Capitol Building split down the middle but it was a veil tearing.

Suddenly what appeared in its place was the Lamb of God seated upon the mercy seat. His throne was as large as the Capitol Building had been. At His feet stood those that serve in leadership in our nation; the representatives from the house and the senate. The veil had been torn and this “house divided” was before the King of Kings and as they looked upon Him they suddenly became united by the love in His eyes and the revelation of “who He truly is!”

In this vision the veil of deception, division and separation was torn and Jesus was revealed to all who filled our Capitol Building as “The God Who We Trust In.” Mercy poured forth from His throne as they bowed in awe at the sight of Him and their eyes were open to truth.

As I saw this vision I began to weep as if it was happening even now. Faith for revival in that divided house filled me. We know that the Word says,

“But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.” Matthew 12:25

There has been a crumbling of the house in our nation; often revolving around the issues of family and life. This has caused many individual homes and families throughout our nation to crumble. But if revival can come to Washington DC and the sovereignty of God causes the veil to be torn, then even the enemies of God will cry out “Holy is the Lord.” Then we will be united and truly stand as the United States!

This past week, as I was in Washington DC, I experienced such an awakening of deep intercession for our nation. I literally didn’t want to leave but longed to stay and weep between the porch and the alter on behalf of our nation. Oh how I long to see Jesus receive His full inheritance in our nation. I ached to see His mercy respond to the blood that cries out in the ground with His blood that washes away our sin. I longed with such a deep travail to see our nation bow before Him as our eyes are opened to see His beauty. He is worthy!

Will we take this vision and add our faith and intercession to it? Or will we merely say, “That will never happen!”? It never will if we do not take up the cause of Christ on behalf of our nation. God is asking for those who will partner with Him and say, “Yes, I believe and will intercede!”

As I stood in David’s Tent last week in DC I could feel the longing of the Lord that it would always be full…full of believers that have been called to stand in the gap. The angels gather there and the Lord is longing for His people to gather there to partner with the heavenly host that He has sent there.

In the early 2000’s my husband and I directed a house of prayer that Patricia King had birthed called The War Room. It was an amazing place but in 2006 the Lord visited us and asked us if we would sow it into the ground as a seed that would come forth at a later time. We have longed to have the seed come up out of the ground since that time.

As I slept during my third night in Washington DC I had a dream that “war rooms” would suddenly arise out of the ground; first in DC and then multiplied throughout the nation. They were places that men and women would gather to come into the counsel chambers of heaven. Those who gathered would receive the counsel and wisdom of the Lord for the days ahead. Scrolls, blueprints and strategies would come as they gathered in His presence. Wisdom for issues that man could not find solutions for would come and change the trajectory of homes, families, cities, states and for our nation.

Can revival come to our nation’s capital? Yes it can! Speak it, let the vision burn in our hearts, call on God and stand in the gap. May His glory fill this house!

An Opportunity for Transforming an Inner-City Neighborhood

A door has been opened to us to be part of an initiative in West Palm Beach, Florida beginning June 20, 2019.

The Awaken the Dawn team will work in conjunction with local ministries, business leaders, and other partners to see the revitalization of an inner-city neighborhood in West Palm, Florida, with the goal of of long-term, sustainable transformation on a city-wide level.

We have been asked for our involvement in setting up a tent to host the presence of God in the area as spiritual covering and support to the physical work of restoration and transformation.

Singers, musicians, and prayer warriors from across the country will join us in praying through the area, receiving strategic blueprints, shifting the spiritual atmosphere, and establishing a house of prayer in the midst of this amazing project.

All those who say “yes” to this invitation will do so as volunteers; therefore, this assignment will need to be funded by supporters. The cost for us to take part in this missions project is approximately $1500.00.

This is an opportunity for the body of Christ to sow into sustainable transformation that will truly reach the poor and needy with hope and new beginnings, while bringing city transformation.

Let us fulfill the following verses in our cities and nation!

Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you”—when you already have it with you.— Proverbs 3:27-28

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.— Proverbs 11:25

Washington DC Update

We are in Washington DC with Awaken the Dawn/Tent America, Circuit Riders (YWAM), 21 Project, Luke 18, Bound 4 LIFE, Take the City and David’s Tent.

We’ve been in strategic meetings, worship, prayer, prophesy and equipping. Today we went on a prayer walk through the DC Memorials. It was a powerful journey with representatives from throughout the nation.

We released decrees for LIFE at the place where Martin Luther King gave his “I have a dream…” speech on the Lincoln Memorial. We prayed at each memorial as the Spirit gave direction.

Tonight we will worship with Sean Feucht at David’s Tent before heading for two days in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

God is on the move and He is releasing the sound of His roar through the prayers of His faithful remnant. Please continue to pray for us as we continue this journey.

On a personal and practical note; pray for all of the resources to come forth for all that the Lord is leading us in at this time and throughout the next few months. Also, pray for strength, health, protection and wisdom over us. Thank you!

It’s Not “Either/Or” but “Both/And”

by Kathi Pelton

So much of life with Christ is not found in an “either/or” answer or posture but rather a “both/and” agreement.

Some examples:

• Is the prayer/worship or evangelism/discipleship more important?

— It’s both/and! Prayer and worship sets the field or prepares the atmosphere so that hearts are softened and the air is clear for eyes to see and ears to hear.

• Are those who go or those who give more important?

— It’s both/and! How can people go without those who give? It’s a partnership in which we have opportunities to do both. The reward and credit is the same in God’s eyes!

• Should we battle darkness or gaze upon His beauty?

— It’s both/and! Intimacy is not left in the place of gazing when we enter the spiritual battles. It is an unbroken bond of intimacy that fights together and retreats to rest together. They are equally important.

• Should we take our homes/city or go to the other cities/nations?

—It’s both/and! As a mom I spend a lot of time with my natural family nurturing, loving and making a home where His presence abides; but I also go out to strengthen other’s children, marriages and homes. We must stay and we must go because what we build in our homes and cities become what we can bring to strengthen another’s home and city (or nation).

• Do we preach love or truth?

—Both love abs truth! The love described in 1 Corinthians 13 is the only love that is filled with truth! All other love is conditional but agape love does not demand something in return.

There are more examples then I’d ever be able to post but these are just a few. People often have a “for or against” posture or an “either/or” posture but that comes from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. It creates separate camps and divisions over opinions, interpretations, human knowledge, limited understanding, different cultures, etc. The tree of life yields the sweet fruit of John 17:21. It is the unity/oneness that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit share and enjoy that we have been invited into.

Though they are One in every way, we can enter into that oneness and nurture unity with our brothers and sisters by laying down our right to be right. I’m not talking about compromising convictions but acknowledging that we all see in part and carry different parts in different seasons. Every part of the five-fold is equally important and needed to see the fullness of the Kingdom established. Every part of the body is needed to perform the function that they were created for. Every expression is a revelation of a facet of His beauty. Not one of us is completely “right” in our understanding of scripture or application of scripture but God sees our hearts and the motivation of our hearts. We are clothed in His righteousness in the midst of our imperfections and even misrepresentations of His true nature. We ask for clean hands and pure hearts so that our greatest longing is to see Him receive what He died for…mankind!

Let’s move away from the either/or and for/against mindset and begin to eat of the tree of life until we see the longing of Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21 fulfilled.

He deserves His prayer to be answered by a people who will humble themselves before Him and one another in the only “camp” worth living in…the tent of Jesus!

“that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.” John‬ ‭17:21‬ ‭

God is Intermingling the Old and the New

by Kathi Pelton

The uncompromising message that I heard as a young believer that taught foundational truths, holiness, and freedom from sin and death has often been lost in the desire to let the world know that we walk in love. Yet, no one had to water down the truth that brought conviction of sin when I came to know the Lord. Sin was devastating my life, and the love found within the message of freedom from sin and a God who would die to redeem me from it was greater love than I had ever imagined possible!

Somehow many have concluded that any message that brings real conviction or exposes sin is not love. Yet, there is more love than we can imagine in the message of an invitation into freedom. The truth that the wages of sin are death and hell is now a politically incorrect message, yet it is the truth that Jesus died for; the one that saved my life and the lives of countless men and women.

The teaching of universalism is that there is ultimately no hell, no final judgement for any individual. There are those who tell us that it is unloving to proclaim the truth that rejecting Christ’s payment for sin will result in eternal separation from God. Such ideas have the appearance of kindness, but they are merely a recipe for watered-down Christianity.

Hell is real, but it was not designed for men; instead, it was meant for Satan and his demon army. Jesus made a way, through His death on the cross, for every man and woman to be redeemed, because He paid the price for our sin. We have the opportunity to receive the free gift of salvation and righteousness before our God. It is amazing that God has not forced His love upon us, but has given us free will to accept it or to reject it. Love offers a choice; not a compromised choice, but real freedom to chose.

When I was a new believer I understood these important truths, but unfortunately there were not a lot of true “fathers and mothers” who would come alongside us new sons and daughters in order to nurture us. Many of us who had chosen Christ and received the gift of eternal life still struggled with deeply wounded souls. I was one who carried scars from my childhood and from the many bad choices I had made that brought great harm to my young life.

Though I had experienced the amazing love of God during my salvation experience, rigid “Do no sin!” messages—apart from the healing of my soul to replace the orphan spirit I carried—merely reinforced an unhealthy demand to perform and set me up for failure.

We are seeing a wonderful shift in this season, and messages of love, healing, intimacy, our true identity in Christ, loving family, and generations walking together are now nurturing new converts and healing wounded souls. However, this does not negate the need for us to understand our hopelessness outside of Christ. We must understand the message of holiness and healing found in Jesus.

What I see happening in the Spirit is an intermingling of the message of uncompromising holiness, true conviction of sin, and Jesus redeeming men from the penalty of sin (which is death and hell) with the message of intimacy, family, sonship, identity, grace and His “reckless love.” It’s “not either/or” but “both/and.”

Either message without the other brings about unbalanced living. One demands holiness apart from healing, and the other creates compromise that makes people “feel good”; but they are being comforted within the constraints of their captivity. We need both! We need holiness and we need healing, we need uncompromising truth and unconditional love, we need to displace the enemy and then fill that place with the true identity that God created men to live in.

There is an intermingling of holiness and healing! There is an intermingling of conviction of sin and healing of hearts! There is an intermingling of uncompromising truth and intimacy! And there is an intermingling of foundational teachings and His reckless love that creates true disciples that know they are sons and daughters.

This will release light to those caught in darkness. It is the message the world longs to hear and the balm that souls need to receive. It is new wine poured into new wine skins. One without the other causes the wine skins to burst and the wine to be wasted.

Let us enter into a yielded life that allows the Spirit of the Lord to intermingle the fullness of all the aspects and characteristics of God within our lives. May a bride who is both holy and healed emerge in this hour!

The Countdown! 10, 9, 8…

The countdown for our Washington DC trip has begun!

On May 29th I will be flying to Washington DC along with our daughter and son-in-law to gather with leaders from across the nation. We will worship, pray, join hearts and hear from the Lord regarding the steps ahead to see our nation return to her righteous foundations. We long to see God’s original intent for our nation restored and realized.

Though there is often great resistance as we move forward to see His Kingdom established, we rest in knowing that the victory is the Lord’s and as we say, “Yes!” we will know that we become a part of that victory.

Will you join our “yes” by adding your “yes” to praying for us and supporting us with a financial gift?

As always, we will go in faith, which is our confident assurance of all that we need.

We will be posting updates during our trip to keep you aware of all that is happening. We will also be joining David’s Tent on the National Mall for a day of prayer and worship as well as going to Fredericksburg, Virginia for some strategic meetings.

Thank you for your prayers and faithful support~~Kathi Pelton

The Rooster is Announcing the Dawning of a New Day

by Kathi Pelton

On August 2, 2007 I had an article published on The Elijah List called “The Roosters Are Crowing, “It’s A New Day!” (http://www.elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=5541).This word was birthed out of a time where our family was recovering from losing our home in a fire just months earlier. A Mennonite couple from Pennsylvania felt led of the Spirit to go on a treasure hunt with God to buy our family a prophetic gift. What they were led to buy for us was a beautifully crafted ceramic rooster to signal a “new day is dawning”.

Now, twelve years later, I am once again being reminded again and again of that rooster. It started a few weeks back when some friends and I was doing a “treasure hunt” for property. We were waking the grounds of a magnificent estate that is for sale and on one of the patios was a life size statue of a rooster. To say that it was out of place for this setting would be an understatement! But the “out of place” caused it to stand out to us! Immediately I remembered my prophetic gift from 2007 that said that beauty would come forth from our ashes and a rooster announced “the dawning of a new day.”

Since that day a couple weeks ago I have been seeing roosters everywhere! I hear the sound of their early morning crowing deep in my spirit which is awakening the dawn of a new day and awakening hope!

Yesterday I wrote a word about barn revivals and barn raisings that will occur in the days ahead. As I released that word I saw in my spirit a weather vane on the top of a barn. This weather vane had a rooster on it and was spinning around and around because the wind of the spirit was coming from every direction. It was like a holy whirlwind that was touching these barns. Then last night I was watching a news station that was tracking a tornado that had touched down in Ford County, Kansas. The storm chasers who were following it kept reporting how it was coming upon barns and only touching the barns. As I was watching this unfold before my eyes I once again began to see in my spirit the weather vane with the rooster on top of the barn that was spinning from the wind that was coming from every direction. It was a sign in the natural of what will come and touch barns…only the wind of the Spirit will restore and not destroy.

God often speaks to me through visions (I’m a seer), the natural visual things and through natural events that declare spiritual truths. In this season I am seeing barns, roosters, fire, wind and the dawning of a new day. These are not separate but rather they converge together to paint a picture of what the Lord is about to do.

I believe that this is a prophetic sign for America! Just as we were sent a prophetic gift of a rooster twelve years ago; God is sending the church a prophetic sign and gift of a rooster that announces a new day…a day where revival will come upon communities as we return to our grass roots of gathering together on homesteads (in barns). We will see unity come from sharing life together, sharing meals together and raising barns together. Family, community and gathering in love will cause the Spirit’s fire to fall and the wind to blow. Homesteads will host the presence of God and become portals of miracles, signs and wonders.

This is a time to restore those old barns, build new barns and gather in barns because it is a new day! The stalls will be full again, the vats will overflow, the grain will be plentiful and we will rejoice!

“Consider from this day onward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month. Since the day that the foundation of the Lord ‘s temple was laid, consider: Is the seed yet in the barn? Indeed, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have yielded nothing. But from this day on I will bless you.”” Haggai‬ ‭2:18-19‬ ‭

Where the barns have been empty and desolate, they now will be full! Where there had been no seed, now there will be an abundance of grain! Where there has been to yield from the land and from the work of your hands, now there will be more than enough. “From this day on I will bless you!” (On a side note and sign; my husband and I were married on the 24th day of the ninth month… Gregorian calendar not Jewish calendar).

Though I believe that this is specifically a word for America, I also see it touching other nations. Canada, Australia, Argentina, Japan, Scotland, Mexico, Brazil…and many other nations will hear the crow of the rooster to announce a new day that brings them into harvest and blessings.

The rooster is crowing…”It’s a new day!”

Were You Born In A Barn? In The Days Ahead Many Will Answer, “Yes I Was!”

by Kathi Pelton

For the past few weeks I have become aware of something that is happening even now regarding “a barn revival”, some are calling the worship and prayer times in these barns, “a barn burn.”

In my hometown of Santa Rosa, California many in the church would meet in a beautiful local barn to worship and pray and listen to voices such as Heidi Baker and Georgian Banov. As a matter of fact, my daughter, Amy and her husband, Luke were married on this property and their wedding reception was held in that very barn. But in 2017 a firestorm hit the region and the entire property, including this barn was burned. It was a great loss.

Since that time, every time I talk about this event and say that the barn burned I then begin to hear the verse from Isaiah 61:3,

“…to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.”

I’ve sensed that there would be a beautiful restoration that would come from the ashes of even this one barn that became ashes. Beauty will rise from the ashes of devastation in many lives, cities and nations. A barn raising will happen and the fire of God will fall, bringing great restoration!

Then, I began to see visions of people telling other people, “I was born in a barn!” I realized that they were speaking of being “born again” in a barn. Just as our Savior was born in a barn and laid in a manger, many will come from afar, like the wisemen who followed the star, to find the Savior of the world in a barn once again. They will be born in a barn because they did not find “room in the Inn (church).”

I believe that there will be barns all across America that will release the sound of worship, the sound of prayer and the sound of the revelation of the good news. Light will come forth from these barns like a star in the sky that leads many to find Jesus there. Both the saved and unsaved will come. Those whose lives have been in ashes will come; the hopeless, the weary, the sick and the lost will come and as they hear the sound they will see their Savior. Beauty and salvation will come forth from the ashes and the fire of the Holy One will come like a second Pentecost upon all who gather.

The name of the Lord will be heard throughout the land and those who would never step into a church will come to these barns because of the light and the sound. They will find healing for their weary souls and they will leave these barns like young calves set free from the stalls.

“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” Malachi 4:2

Many will be born in these barns! We will even see the church gather to raise barns once again. Unity will come even from the times of preparing barns and community will be formed around these barns. John 17:21 is where we read Jesus’ prayer for us to be one in the same way that the Father, Son and Spirit are one and these barns will become a place of oneness! They will be like a womb where many are birthed and new life comes forth.

There will be barns on fire but they will burn with the fire of God that lights up the sky and calls many home. The harvest will be gathered in the barns and the angels will gather to sing, “Glory to God in the highest, and peace and goodwill toward mankind.”

Faith, Finances and Fruitfulness

by Kathi Pelton

Today I was reminded of the story in John 6 of the boy who offered his lunch (loaves and fish) to the Lord. It is such a beautiful example of what God can do with our offering.

“‘There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are they for so many? Jesus said, ‘Have the people sit down.’ Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number. Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, ‘Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost. ‘ So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten. When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said, ‘This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!’” John‬ ‭6:9-14‬ ‭

The offerings that we bring often feel insignificant compared to the great need that is before us. But when all that we have (both small and large) is placed into the Lord’s hands, He blesses it and multiplied it to feed the multitudes. Not only that—there is always more than enough with leftovers that exceed the original offering. In this story the boy who offered his lunch not only still ate and was “filled” but I believe that this increase was counted to his credit! Not only were the people’s hunger satisfied but the miracle of multiplication revealed Jesus to the masses. They believed!

This seemingly small act of faith on the part of this boy brought increased fruitfulness not only for him but for the multitudes. It is still revealing Jesus today and increasing the faith of those who merely have “a lunch” to offer.

My husband and I have been in full-time ministry for many years. The majority of our time in ministry we have been supported by those who the Lord prompted to support us financially. On an emotional level this was a hard adjustment for us when we started on that path. We had been used to being the ones who supported others and suddenly needed to be supported. When God called us to live in another country to oversee a house of prayer, we had to “go” and trust that the Lord would bring generous givers to surround our lives as we gave our “yes” to His call. We quickly had to learn absolute trust and thanksgiving in times of plenty and times of hunger.

Throughout the years of living upon the support of others (amazing and beautiful people!), we had to come to terms with the truth that Paul speaks of in Philippians 4 regarding his own ministry and support, when he writes, “Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit.”

Our hearts, like Paul’s, have always been to give our all and give our “yes” to all that the Lord asks of us (whether giving or going). Though there are times of great struggle and sacrifice, we know that He is worthy of it all. We have come to understand through these verses in Philippians 4 that the burden or weight that we often felt as people supported us was wrong thinking. Let’s look at what Paul says about those who supported him and the work he was doing,

“Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble. And you Philippians yourselves know that in the beginning of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church entered into partnership with me in giving and receiving, except you only. Even in Thessalonica you sent me help for my needs once and again. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that increases to your credit. I have received full payment, and more. I am well supplied, having received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent, a fragrant offering, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God. And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Philippians‬ ‭4:14-20‬ ‭

God equally credits the fruitfulness of Paul’s ministry to those who stood in the place of support. Although Paul was the mouthpiece (and he was credited for that), those who offered financial support gave “an acceptable and pleasing offering to the Lord” and it was credited to them for all the fruit that came forth.

It is a partnership! One is not greater than the other because one cannot exist without the other. I live in the confident assurance that those who give are benefiting from the fruitfulness that comes from the work of those they give to. In light of this truth we all can focus on the work before us and pray for the increase of Kingdom fruitfulness; being confident that those hard working supporters are being blessed equally as much. The reward for the one who goes and the one who gives is the same!

I am sharing this because there is so much misunderstanding about this partnership and about the role of those who give and those who go. Often people hold back because they feel as though they give with no return. Or they give only a small measure because they feel as though all the fruit goes to those who are the mouthpiece or instrument of “going.” But according to Paul, he is able to “seek the fruit that was increased because of those who gave!” There must be those who plant the seed and those who water the seed. God sees both with equal importance, impact. and honor.

The one that “goes” and the one that “gives” are rewarded the same and credited for the increase of fruitfulness. Both take a posture of faith and live by faith even in two different roles.

I pray that this understanding takes the pressure off those who go and adds a blessing upon those that give. I have been in both roles; those who have given and those who have gone, and one was not above the other or more honorable than the other. No matter what role the Lord has called you to stand in; the increase of fruitfulness is credited to you. It is a pleasing sacrifice that will bring the increase of fruitfulness upon your life as well.
