Rejoicing and Weeping

by Kathi Pelton

I don’t often take the time to just scroll through social media but this morning I did. As I did I found myself rejoicing at posts that announced great news (the birth of a baby, a miracle, a reunion with a loved one, etc.) but then as I scrolled further I’d come upon some of the most painful, heart wrenching posts I can imagine. I went from praising God for His goodness to pleading with Him for comfort and mercy within mere seconds.

We are all in different seasons; some are in seasons of great joy, new beginnings and seeing long awaited desires fulfilled. Others have suddenly been swept into loss, grief and pain that leaves them barely able to breathe. And of course there are those who are just journeying along in a season of “normal everyday life.”

We have all known and experienced these three very diverse season in life. So where is God in the midst of tragedy while another is dancing for joy?

He is in both. Though we cannot comprehend why tragedies occur, especially to those whose lives have been committed to Jesus, still they do. I have lived through them and through them found a different aspect of God that changed my life for the better. The tragic or painful seasons were where I had to live “in the deep.” It is there that I learned the truth of His faithfulness when every circumstance and emotion screamed out, “Where are you God?”

Life is a journey of hills and valleys, grassy fields and desert sand, jumping for joy and falling down in deep grief. We don’t get to escape any of it and yet we do get to discover that our God is faithful through it all. His goodness does not change, His promises do not end and His love does not waver.

How is it that God can be bending down to comfort and help the one going through the deepest pain and in the same moment dancing over the one who has found Him or who is celebrating a great victory. How is it that one experiences a miracle while another a tragic loss. He’s not a God of contradictions but rather a God who is near to all. He can weep and rejoice without contradiction. He can perform a miracle one moment and leave us wondering why He didn’t in the next moment. Or maybe we don’t understand what a miracle looks like? God is not limited to one expression or confined to an “either or”…He is the God of “Both and…”

Just as I found myself this morning rejoicing one second and in tears the next as I viewed posts on social media; even more I was aware that God was with all, in all and faithful to all. His faithfulness is as true in the tragedies as in the triumphs. His love is as complete and undiminished in the pain as it is in the promise fulfilled.

One of my favorite verses to meditate on and to speak on is Hebrews 11:11. Those who know me will often hear me emphasize the truth hidden within this verse,

“And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:11‬ ‭

The part that has impacted my life isn’t the promise fulfilled but rather the words, “…she considered him faithful who had made the promise.”

The promised didn’t come for years and Sarah and Abraham wavered in their emotions about the promise. But she began with the conviction of His faithfulness. I, too, have chosen to “consider” (judge, discern) Him faithful in my life and daily choices. That is my life standard. I have determined that though seasons change, my emotions change, my perspective varies and my circumstances change…HIS FAITHFULNESS IS UNCHANGING!

I may need to be reminded of this in a time of pain and I may need others to help hold me on this truth when I do not understand the journey; but I choose this as my truth and my anchor.

We can rejoice with one and weep with another without contradictions. We do not have to understand the “whys” to declare Him as faithful. One day we will all understand and know that our faith was and is justified. Until that day, determine one thing…HE IS FOREVER FAITHFUL! In everything “consider Him faithful.”

Seasons come and seasons go but His steadfast love endures forever. This is your anchor.

Missing Puzzle Pieces Are Coming Together

by Kathi Pelton

I was taken into a vision where I saw angels standing around a table and they were intently looking down at it. I couldn’t see what they were looking at because they fully encircled this large table. Every few minutes one angel would make a sudden movement which would cause all the angels to shout out in joy. Then they would return to looking intently at whatever was on the table once again. Finally I was taken over the table and was able to see what they were doing. I saw a massive jigsaw puzzle that had faces, places, destinations and promises being revealed as the missing pieces were found and then joined together. Each time an angel found a missing piece and linked it into the proper place it would release a “kairos” moment in time on earth and all the angels would shout out for joy. Then they would return to looking for the next missing piece.

We are in a time where “missing pieces” in lives will suddenly come together that releases a “kairos moment” bringing you into new places (destinations), new relationships (connections), new assignments and promises (desires) fulfilled. They will often look very different then you planned or expected.

The missing pieces are very strategic for fulfilling personal and corporate destinies. We are truly in a kairos moments where the movements of pieces (people, places, purposes) is being done with heavenly timing and strategy. This particular puzzle that I saw angels working so intently on is a picture of a strategic blueprint being put together for lives and nations that will align earthly things with heavenly things. This is a “now” puzzle being assembled for establishing heavenly mandates and purposes. It was hidden from the eyes of men to protect the great impact it will have upon the earth.

There are and will continue to be many pieces moved from one place to another so that they are fit into the proper place to bring forth what the Lord is doing across the earth. These movements and joined pieces (lives) will cause a “coming together of purposes.” Many will find themselves in places they never expected to be and with people that they did not expect to be joined to. These are divinely strategic moves and relationships that will reveal a full picture where there has been missing pieces that stopped forward movement.

When you find yourself in an unexpected place or with an unexpected person or group of people, be sure to pay close attention and invite the Lord to reveal if you are in a kairos moment. That new relationship may be the missing piece in the puzzle of your life. That new location may be the place that the seeds you’ve sown suddenly will bear fruit.

It is time to expect the unexpected!! Don’t be thrown off by the sudden reordering of your steps because God is ordering His people’s steps to place them into His divine storyline and picture that will establish His Kingdom. Many plans that have been made will be intercepted and interrupted by the reordering of steps. The plans were hidden from you because they needed to be protected due to the strategic nature that they carry. They will surprise you but they will also catch the “enemy off guard” because he thought you were going one direction and without warning you will be somewhere that he was completely unaware of causing many victories to be won because it was hidden.

Be quick to let go of plans made and even to release those that you made plans with. Know that it is for good and not for evil! It is part of the moving of missing pieces that will establish great victories. Bless the movements of people and receive the new plans because they are divine blueprints. Do not misinterpret these sudden and unexpected moves because that will cause divisions. Do not try to understand that which is not comprehended by human understanding. God’s ways are not our ways!

This is a time to be flexible, humble and to not be offended at the sudden change of plans. Understand that things have been hidden because of the greatness of the impact they will have. The unexpected steps or plans are better then what you originally had planned. Trust the Lord!

“We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Habitation or Visitation?

by Kathi Pelton

Each day that I live I become more aware of the “place of habitation” that we must dwell in. The presence and person of Jesus isn’t a place that we visit during a worship service or a prayer time; it is and HE IS to be our continual dwelling place and habitation day and night.

“Those who live (dwell) in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.” Psalms‬ ‭91:1-2‬ ‭

The dwelling place of the Most High is not a swinging door that we are to go into and then out of; it is to be our “constant.” Whether we are resting on our beds or traveling the nations we are to dwell in His shelter and become a place of habitation for His presence. The oneness and unity that the Father, Son and Holy Spirit share is a constant and unbroken flow of communion and connection. This is what we have been invited into…the “constant indwelling of God.”

I recently heard someone say, “The Lord will visit and bless many things that He does not inhabit.”

Yet He longs for a habitation!

I love David’s heart and desire that he expresses in Psalm 132:4-5,

“I will not let my eyes sleep nor close my eyelids in slumber until I find a place to build a house for the Lord, a sanctuary for the Mighty One of Israel.””

It is the response to God’s longing in Psalm 66:1

“This is what the Lord says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place?””

The amazing reality is that He is our resting place and we are to be His resting place. He who dwells (inhabits) us is to be our habitation and dwelling place. He is not to merely be a visiting place but a constant and permanent place that we live in and carry; no matter where we are or what we are doing. It is then that His glory (His manifest presence) will bring heaven to earth wherever we go.

This is one of the greatest mysteries that any person can spend a lifetime discovering…God with us! He is the God who says, “Come up here…” (Revelation 4:1) and the God who “bends low to hear our prayers” (Psalm 116:2). There is a constant and continual (unbroken) communion that we have been invited into. There is ascending and descending always happening as we dwell with Him and allow a habitation of His Holy Spirit to be a river of life that flows to us and through us.

The indwelling of God with us is our unspeakable joy! One moment we find ourselves at His feet in humble adoration and the next we are gazing into His eyes with an awe that causes everything to stand still. He is the One who picks us up to dance with us and who leaves us terrified at His power and might. The place of habitation with God is never boring but rather always amazing. It is a holy place of great power and authority and a humble place of comfort and rest. All are welcome and all receive what they truly need.

Let us pursue habitation rather than visitation. May we see a generation of “inhabitants” arise instead of “visitors” who are always “up and down.” Let us see a generation come forth who will be a resting place for the glory of the Lord. Then His manifest presence will come and transform orphans into sons and daughters.

There is no lack in His presence…no want…no depression. There is fullness of joy that ushers in a yielding to absolute trust. This yielding brings the peace that surpasses understanding. This is the beauty found in habitation, dwelling and abiding in His presence. Let’s not settle for anything less!

God Says, “You’re About to Harvest The Crops From The Seeds You Have Previously Sown.”

by Kathi Pelton

Many of you have been sowing seeds for years; financial seeds, gospel seeds, prayer seeds, relational seeds and seeds of declarations from the Word of God. You have wondered if you would ever see the fruit or grain from those seeds come forth. I heard the Lord say that many are about to see a great harvest come forth from the seeds that you have previously sown.

My husband and I directed a house of prayer for many years with more hours of prayer and worship than either of us could possibly count. We traveled around the nations in obedience to God’s longing for the nations— spending countless dollars, we’ve moved thirty times and left friends and family to follow Him. We are not alone in this journey— many of you have sown, sacrificed and given all that you have on earth to follow Him. Although these things were not done for a personal reward but for the sake of Jesus receiving His full inheritance, I hear Him saying that many seeds will suddenly yield a great crop that you will get to eat from.

We had the honor of praying over a couple that has given the past sixteen years to the Lord as they directed a house of prayer. They are in the midst of transition (like so many others) and we saw all the prayers that had been prayed over the past sixteen years as seeds that went forth and they were now standing before a massive wheat field to go and harvest. As we prayed for them, our team heard the verses,

““The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah‬ ‭55:10-11‬ ‭

The winter season has watered your seed and now grain has grown and fruit has been produced. Prosperity is upon the seeds that you have sown. The winter months with storms have watered your seed. Watch now as you are about to step into the harvest fields from the seeds that you have sown; especially in prayer!

Isaiah 55 goes on to say this,

“You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”” Isaiah‬ ‭55:12-13‬ ‭

The harvest will honor the name of the Lord! You will live in peace and joy as you watch His Word prosper all around you. In the midst of great darkness there will be great joy for those who have put their trust in the Lord. You did not sow in vain! All that you’ve done for the Lord will bear fruit.

There Is A “Sound Swell”— It’s The Sound of Revival!

by Kathi Pelton

There is a sound that is swelling in the atmosphere that will ignite revival throughout the world— it is the sound of the “laid down lovers” intermingled with the sound of the One who laid His life down.

I was taken into an encounter where I found myself before our precious Jesus as His hands were being nailed to the cross. With each pound of the hammer He let out a great cry. Yet in this encounter His cry was heard in my spirit as, “Yes! I lay Myself down!” Each cry was His yes given to save us— the “Yes” of One who is purchasing back His Bride.

Then I was taken to crowds of believers who were giving their “Yes” to lay down their lives for the sake of Christ. Their “Yes” was an unconditional and fully abandoned “Yes!” Then, suddenly the “Yes” of Christ from 2000 years ago, as He was being nailed to the cross, and the “Yes” of His sons and daughters today went forth as one sound. The echo of His yes and our yes intermingled into a sound of revival. I saw billions (not millions but billions) come to Christ in response to this sound!

An explosion of the sound of “Yes” is the trip wire that will signal revival…worldwide revival. No man, no law and nothing will be able to stop the sound. Old and young will run to hear the sound, to encounter the Man and to add their “Yes!” The “critical mass” required to for a chain reaction of salvation and purification is about to occur!

Do you feel and hear the swell of this sound? Release your “YES!” It is the unconditional yes that holds nothing back but rather it lays down all for the sake of the One who laid down His all. It is the yes of those who are completely dependent and surrendered. It is the yes that declares, “He is worthy of it all!”

It’s Your Full Circle Time!

by Kathi Pelton

Since 2019 began I have begun to take notice of what I would term as “full circle moments.” From prophetic words over the body of Christ to personal promises from decades ago suddenly coming upon us. It is as if 2019 is taking loose threads and weaving them into the fabric of our stories so that we enter 2020 with a completed garment.

For me personally; much of this has come about in very unexpected ways. It has reaffirmed my confidence and belief in how God orders and establishes our steps in the midst of “my plans.” Suddenly the trajectory of life has shifted and the direction has aligned with promises of old…even long forgotten promises.

My dear friend, Daneen Bottler, wrote a prophetic word on June 14th about being “shot out” like an arrow. She describes the pressure of being pulled back in the bow and then the speed and momentum of being shot out. I believe that this is such an accurate description of what is happening to many at this time. 2019 has been a year where the Lord has taken arrows from His quiver and placed them in His bow. As Daneen says in her prophetic article; there has been a strong pressure as they were pulled back but then suddenly they will be launched.

This full circle time could also be described as a “for such a time as this” moment. Many years of preparation are now coming to completion for a new time of living in the assignment. The past decade has been a time of deep refinement and preparation.

Recently I heard someone prophesy about an eleven year preparation period and as I heard these words I realized that the past eleven years have significantly been marked by a time of great preparation, refinement, purification and redemption in my life. I believe that this prophetic voice nailed a time cycle of eleven years that we have finished and another one that we’ve entered into. I have been meditation for an entire year on Hebrews 11:11 which says,

“By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed; and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:11‬ ‭

She judged Him faithful who had promised! She had her full circle moment; though her faith wavered, she even laughed at the absurdity of the promised, etc. Still, she had “judged Him faithful who had promised!” This is a full circle and fulfillment time for many promises that you judged Him faithful to fulfill; even if your faith wavered and you could not see a way for the promise to come to pass.

I believe that in this moment we are all to declare and judge Him once again as “faithful.” This is a kairos moment to speak over your life, the life of your children and over your promises the words, “You are faithful!” We are to declare them loudly over the body of Christ and over our nations. We are to reaffirm that we “judge Him as faithful!”

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6

A long time and season of lingering in the “waiting room of promise” is coming to a close as we finish 2019 and enter into 2020. Though many have felt that what began as a beautiful promise many years ago became an extended time of being place in a quiver; even hidden away. But suddenly you will be taken ahold of, place in His bow and shot into the fulfillment of the promise. The seed will bring forth the promise fulfilled though some of you, like Sarah, even feel too old! Your names are being called and the “waiting room” season will come to an end.

The full circle of a promise given and that promise fulfilled is coming upon us. Though it has tarried for a long time, we are now in a “for such a time as this” moment.

“…And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14

Declare with me, “He who promised is faithful to fulfill!” Amen

The Whirlwind of God Is Coming

by Kathi Pelton

I woke up today feeling what I can only describe as a “coming whirlwind of God.”

I was taken into the place of this whirlwind prophetically and I saw it rest upon those who have stood in His faithfulness in the midst of adversity. I saw it come upon those who have given out of their own need. And I saw it come upon the faithful remnant that has honored the Lord with shouts of, “Great is Your faithfulness!” in the midst of the storms.

This whirlwind of heaven will displace the enemy and his demonic assignments sent against you and it will bring you what I heard called “crazy favor” that will make a way for you where there appears no way!

A road will suddenly appear in your wilderness, a stream in your desert and a refreshing cool breeze upon your parched soul. I see sudden and sovereign breakthroughs coming that leave His faithful ones wondering if they are dreaming or if it is real.

There will be shouts that say, “Look what God has done for us!” heard across the land! Contagious joy will fuel this whirlwind and the joyful laughter that comes upon those who have been touched by this will create “spin off” whirlwinds that land upon those who have wavered in their faith and they will suddenly rise up once again out of their ashes and beauty will burst forth from their lives.

This whirlwind of heavenly activity will activate faith in many and will cause resurrection power to be released in the atmosphere. The suddenly of God is in this “swirl” and a great movement will come forth from those it touches.

Thank you God for the heavenly atmosphere that is invading earthly circumstances and human vessels!

You Will Tremble As You See The Goodness Of The Lord Come Upon The Desolate Places

by Kathi Pelton

When we think of trembling we usually think of fear or a cold chill. It is rarely spoken in the context of something good. But there is a trembling that happens in moments of awe and wonder. It catches you off guard causing you to collapse in joyful tears under the weight of such goodness.

We see this kind of trembling when a young child sees their daddy for the first time after a long military tour or when two lovers who have been separated by a great distance are finally able to embrace. We see this when a mother holds her newborn baby or the first time that the daughter that my husband and I fought to adopt was finally placed in our arms. It is a trembling that comes from the awe of a long awaited desire fulfilled.

“And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.” Jeremiah‬ ‭33:9‬ ‭

Though this verse is speaking of the restoration of Jerusalem; as I awoke this morning the Lord gave it to me for His Bride…you! The Lord is about to show you His faithfulness in such a way that it will leave you trembling in awe. The display and manifestation of His goodness and prosperity upon your life will also cause your enemies to fear and tremble as they see all the plans they sent against you crumble before the goodness of God.

Though you’ve felt like a barren and desolate city, soon you will watch as the faithful goodness of the Lord overtakes all that stood against you; causing you to prosper with shouts of great joy! This will be the sound that comes forth from your life,

“…the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord: ‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!’ For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.” Jeremiah‬ ‭33:11‬ ‭

This was His promise for the holy city of Jerusalem and it is His promise over you. He is good and He is your Restorer. Now is the time to shout His goodness over your desolate area! Shout it over the barren wombs, bad reports and those who are sick. Shout it over every waste place. Shout to that place of dread in the pit of your stomach. Fill your lack with shouts of, “The Lord is good!”

His promises are true and they are sure! Therefore, you can begin to release the voice of gladness be heard even now. The enemy has been shouting with a voice of dread, hopelessness and accusation for far too long. His voice comes and sucks the air out of the room and out of your lungs because it is the voice of lies and darkness. Break all agreements with that voice because it only comes to kill, steal and destroy.

It is time to raise the voice of the redeemed. Let the sound of those who have been given abundant life go into the atmosphere and into the land. Let us shout,

“Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!”

Watch as a trembling of awe and wonder returns to His Church! This tremble will cause mountains to fall and desolate places to blossom with goodness and prosperity.

New England Trip Update

First, I want to tell all of my readers and followers who rose up and gave financially to help fund this trip…THANK YOU! All that has happened and that has begun is counted as your reward as well. We are declaring abundant multiplication upon you and your household.

We are still in Boston and will fly back to the West Coast Thursday afternoon. The trip has been one that has been marked by heart connections. From the divine appointment that healed a mother’s heart on the plane to the touching the heart of our nation.

Though I cannot yet share all of the details from our time (because they are still unfolding), I want you to know that God is gathering His family throughout the nations and yes, even in our beautiful nation. We are seeing the unfolding of Jesus’ prayer in John 17:21,

“…that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they may also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

This week I saw many strong leaders and ministries come to understand that we are not separated by giftings or callings but that as we come together as one, we form the fullness of His heart and His body.

There is a great humility coming upon those who will lay down their crowns (their personal ministries, their titles, their rights and their names) for the sake of being one. We are one family and one body made up of different parts but as we are rightly joined we function as we were created to be…as one bride.

Every time we sat down with an individual or a group or leaders of a ministry we found that we share the same heart. We realized in a greater measure that what we are carrying may all be the same and as the puzzle pieces of our hearts and lives are joined we reveal Jesus and we become a light that the world will be drawn to.

As the details become more defined I will share more. What I did want to share is that God began a convergence of hearts. Many ministries as well as fathers, mothers, sons and daughters now are connecting as one family. We joined in the place where our nation’s foundations began and witnessed new foundations of God’s original intent for His people…oneness with Him and one another.

Continue to pray that as we walk upon the historic foundations of our land today. Pray that we will release the love of God and the unity of the Spirit into the atmosphere and into the people that we meet.

Thank you once again for your prayers and financial support. If you desire to sow into this trip to cover the final cost or desire to help us with the our next trips (a tour through California, British Columbia, Boston, Ontario and Washington D.C.) you can donate at: https://www.inscribeministries.com/
