“It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.” Isaiah 55:11
If you want to plant good seeds that produce a harvest that flourishes in your life— without thorns or thistles— plant the Word in your heart, incorporate it in your prayers and decree it over all that you love!
During the years that my husband and I directed a house of prayer I learned the great value and the “sure fruitfulness” of praying the Word of God. It surely prospers everywhere it is planted! Isaiah 55 goes on to say this,
“You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”” Isaiah 55:12-13
People are looking for answers, they desire prayers of power during this new and unfamiliar era and they are longing for fruitfulness in a world of thorns. His answer is in the seed of His Word! Begin to “eat the Word” for it is the “choicest of foods!” Pray the Word because it is good seed that will bring forth a harvest of peace, joy and fruitfulness everywhere it is planted! His Word will not return void!
The Lord compares it to the rain and snow that falls upon the earth— it saturates the earth causing to germinate and sprout; which provides seed to sow and food to eat (Isaiah 55:10).
His Word is the true food that satisfies the thirst of mankind— it is water to the soul and seed to the sower. It is the seed that prospers wherever it is planted.
Do you have an area of your life that has been barren or producing thorns? Then sow the seed of His Word into that barren ground and watch it prosper and bear a bountiful harvest. His word prepares the ground, it gives the seed, it waters the seed (causing it to germinate) and it prospers everything that it touches..
Today is a day to begin to plant the Word in your life, your family, your business, your city and your nation! This is the wisdom of the Lord that is undisputed! Pray it aloud and decree it over your family, your job and your ministry. It is the key to your turnaround.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways.” Isaiah 55:8
We have launched a #givingtuesday2020 fundraiser! You can help us finish the year well by sowing into our fundraiser.
2020 has been a life-changing year for us. We believe that the greatest work of the Ecclesia is only just beginning. We are working tirelessly to see our nation and the nations of the world turn to Jesus. Please stand with us in prayer and financial support as we go into the new year.
I recently had an encounter with the Lord regarding 2021 and beyond that was both simple yet profound. In the encounter I heard the words, “It will be either a wrestle or a dance.”
Then I saw a vision of Jesus inviting his people to dance with him. I knew that he had been teaching his remnant to move in step with him in a new, more aligned way during 2020. It will be so vitally important to “let him lead” in the days ahead. The dance will be intimate, face to face, and hand in hand but his feet will lead and ours must learn to follow. There is a saying that dance instructors use that is important to remember,
“Don’t look at your feet but rather look in my eyes and your feet will follow.”
As we keep our eyes fixed upon his, our feet will easily follow.
Then I saw others who insisted on functioning the way that had always done before. They were still trying to take the lead (in their personal Christian life, in family, in ministry, in business and in government). They immediately began stepping on Jesus’ feet and getting all tangled up in his steps. What was designed to be a dance suddenly became a wrestle. It will be a much harder path for those who do not draw near and let the Lord lead.
I choose the dance and I pray that you will too! It is time to draw very near— take his hand, and fix your eyes upon his— let the dance begin.
“We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now he is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne.” Hebrews 12:2
As states are closing down more and more once again due to Covid-19, it prevents those who do itinerant ministry from traveling or gathering. We will continue do all that the Lord asks us to do but we are asking you if you will take a moment to pray and ask the Lord if you are to stand with us financially during this time. We know that we have been called to the Washington DC region for such a time as this.
Last November, our family was praying about moving from Oregon to Virginia. We knew that the Lord had directed us to do this, and we knew that the timing of our move was of strategic importance. As we waited upon the Lord, a dear friend who is a part of our prayer team came to our house and brought Jeffrey and me a prophecy she had received. She saw General George Washington crossing the Delaware River on Christmas night.
Even though we didn’t enjoy planning a cross-country relocation during the holiday season, we knew it was a genuine word from God, and we needed to be prepared to go; and we did.
But there is more to the story, and it applies to the time we all find ourselves in.
In December 1776, Washington had planned to cross the Delaware to attack a garrison of enemy troops stationed in Trenton, New Jersey. The river was frozen, and the conditions were so harsh that though Washington’s attack was to comprise three separate crossings, only one out of three could cross—and the successful vessel contained George Washington himself. Prior to the crossing, Washington’s carefully planned timetable was so badly behind schedule because of the weather that he contemplated canceling the attack.
Across the river, a spy had warned the British army that this surprise attack would take place, but the commanding general was arrogant and believed it to be another “false alarm,” so he did not prepare his troops. Washington’s crossing and surprise attack secured the Continental Army’s first major military victory of the Revolutionary War. The courageous decision by General Washington was clearly a “succeed or die” scenario.
Now, back to the prophetic word given to us regarding “crossing the Delaware”…
Jeffrey and I were in Plymouth, Massachusetts for the 400-year anniversary of the arrival of the Mayflower and its pilgrim passengers carrying the Mayflower Compact. During our time, I mentioned the prophesy to a prophetic friend, and she said, “Oh, that is very prophetic; way beyond your move to Virginia.” When she said that, it hit my spirit with a clear witness that caused it to be at the forefront of my mind.
As I write this article, we are returning to Virginia from Plymouth, Massachusetts, and driving through stormy weather. Our GPS, instead of sending us the route we had taken several days earlier, instead revised our course through unexpected rural territory. We found ourselves in a tiny town in New Jersey and on a perilous one-lane bridge crossing a river. As we crossed, the sign ahead of us read “Welcome to Washington’s Crossing.”
Unknown to us, we had just crossed the Delaware River at the very location Washington had on Christmas Day in 1776. We were surprised and recognized the prophetic significance, as we were traveling in a storm, during a time that our nation is once again in a battle.
The British army was warned that the continental army would cross and attack, but its leader was arrogant and did not believe. Therefore, he was not prepared—which gave Washington the victory! I believe that our “prophetic rerouted surprise” should speak to us all. General Washington considered canceling his surprise attack because of adverse conditions. But somehow, he received courage to proceed.
I believe that this is a picture of what we face today in the United States. We are in a war for our freedom, for the upholding of our righteous foundations so we might remain “one nation under God!” Our president is in a battle with such harsh conditions surrounding him that there is surely a struggle to know whether to forge ahead or concede defeat. He is looking at an impossible crossing, but we must believe that God will put on him a spirit of courage given General Washington—or perhaps even Moses, when the Red Sea stood before him and God’s people.
The enemy is mocking with arrogance, confident of victory, but God will bring a surprise attack that will give us a much-needed triumph.
We must pray for our president to have a courage to finish what he has planned no matter what he faces! Freedom is coming to our nation. I see light and freedom coming. I believe that from now until just after Christmas, we need to battle and have courage because WE WILL CROSS OVER!
The crossing of the Red Sea with Moses and the crossing of the Delaware with General Washington are both historic accounts that speak prophetically into the times we are now living. Both crossings were successful.
November 11 will be the 400 year anniversary of when the pilgrims arrived at Plymouth. This is a significant moment for our nation— especially as we are in the midst of such a battle to secure our Godly heritage.
The Bible is clear that God considers 400 years a spiritually significant time period. Whenever God wanted to prepare a nation for His purposes, He took 400 years.
We believe that our nation is in a completion of preparation and a fullness of time spiritually to walk in His purposes. We sense that God is asking for leaders of intercession in our nation to gather in Plymouth on this 400-year anniversary. Together we will pray, decree and establish His steps ahead.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO TAKE THIS JOURNEY TO YOUR PLYMOUTH!
Will you stand with us in prayer and by giving financial support to get us there? We have a 24-hour window to raise $1000 for travel, lodging and food. God provides for what He asks His people to do. Therefore, we know that if we are called to be there— He will provide.
If you feel to sow into this divine appointment to gather and pray in this historic place on this significant day then click on the link below.
During a dream last night— that may have actually been a spiritual encounter— I was taken before the throne of God where I laid before the Lord regrets, sin and shame from issues and moments that went back twenty and thirty years ago. Many of these were things that I did not remember or had “chosen to forget” out of shame or regret in my youthfulness and immaturity. I somehow understood that these “forgotten memories” or hidden places of shortcomings, failures and sin were carrying roots of shame and regret that were still attached to my soul. They were like a debt that had chained me to a forgotten failure.
The beautiful thing was that as I brought each one before the Lord, I also brought every person that my failings had a direct result upon to be healed and set free. Though there was pain involved, there was such a beautiful release and intercession for anyone I had sinned against in my life. Though I absolutely believe that all of these sins had been forgiven long ago, the Lord (in His mercy) send an angel to usher me into a deeper place that removed the impact and harm that had come upon my soul and upon the soul of others through my past sins. It was a “jubilee for the soul!”
“…and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.” Matthew 6:12
I was experiencing in this dream (or dream encounter) the cancellation of debts that had enslaved deep and hidden parts of my soul. I truly had no idea that I was carrying these old “debts.” Whether or not God saw them as debts (because He paid our debts and forgives our sins); somehow, in the deep recesses of my soul I carried them as chains (or roots) of shame.
I would normally keep an encounter like this private due to the personal nature of it but felt to share it with you because I sense that God has sent out angels to give souls a “jubilee” from regrets and debts of past failures. Again, I wasn’t even consciously aware of any of these areas nor had I even remembered most of the memories.
Since God does not remember our sins of the past that have been put under the blood of Jesus, then why did I have this encounter? I believe that it is for two reasons; the first was that these particular instances had marked my soul with a wound of shame that I was not able to deal with at the time they occurred; therefore, I received forgiveness but my soul held onto regret and shame that I needed to be set free from. The second reason is that in this dream/encounter, I was able to become aware of and intercede for all of those who “the sins of my youth” might have harmed in any way.
As I was able to bring these people before the Lord I saw angels rush to them to heal old wounds and remove spiritual scar tissue that has affected them negatively in any way; large or small. I encountered angels tending to my soul as well— to unentangle and free parts of my soul that were rooted in the shame of past sins.
God desires our freedom! Sometimes we don’t even know that we aren’t free from certain things because we’ve never experienced full freedom. Again, I had no idea that these roots of shame or regret even were buried in the recesses of my soul. Yet, just the day before I had invited God to send an angel to fully align my soul with greater freedom and greater healing.
I want to share one last thing— I did not hear or see this but there was a moment in this dream that I brought before the Lord areas of long past struggles and fears regarding provision that had caused me to make bad financial decisions (out of fear) that directly affected my family. As I brought those regrets before the Lord I had the strongest sense that many people where going to have a similar encounter that would usher in a financial jubilee as well. In December 2019 I felt that the Lord said that 2020 would be a year that many would receive their “jubilee!” I saw financial debts canceled and paid in full.
I know that my personal experience was a “jubilee of the soul” but am also expectant that we will begin to hear reports of people having a financial jubilee as well. Spiritual, emotional and financial debts will be canceled and the enslavement that is attached to “old debt” will come off; like chains falling away, so that people can walk forward in new freedom!
This is a time of reset! It is a reset for each of us personally and a reset for His people corporately. He does not want the enemy to have any inroads or access to our souls or our lives from past sins, failures, regrets or debts. He is the God of Jubilee! I declare a spiritual and financial jubilee upon each of you this day!
“This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24
We are living in times that can quickly provoke the soul to agitation, even anger, everywhere we turn if we are not diligent to “trust in the Lord.”
Here in the United States, election years always release a spirit of division, opposition and agitation. This election year is like no other; the battle is on a whole different level and the landscape feels like the beginnings of a civil war. Now we have added the Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the already charged atmosphere. If you watch those hearings for five minutes and your sure to become agitated no matter what side you are on!
We must go up higher in our spiritual posture and let our roots go deeper in the soil of His ways. God’s people can stand up for righteousness, goodness and truth without stirring up the atmosphere with soulish agitation. We must remember that we are on the brink of a literal civil war here in America, therefore, we need to be those who hold the standard of truth in righteousness. We have authority to shift atmospheres through our worship, our words, our intercession and our love— let us not be the trip wire that takes us from civil unrest to civil war!
Psalm 37 is an excellent guide for these times. The very first verse instructs us on how to conduct and restrain our souls,
“Do not be agitated by evildoers; do not envy those who do wrong. For they wither quickly like grass and wilt like tender green plants.” Psalms 37:1-2
DO NOT BE AGITATED! They spring up quickly but wilt before becoming strong or mighty tree— they wilt like tender green plants. Psalm 37 goes on to say,
“Trust in the Lord and do what is good; dwell in the land and live securely. Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act, making your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like the noonday. Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the man who carries out evil plans.” Psalms 37:3-7
This past January the Lord moved our family to the Washington D.C. region from the West Coast. He was very clear in His instructions to “dwell in the land” as 2020 began. We had no idea why or what was coming but the one thing we carry with us (no matter where He sends us) are the instructions from Psalm 37:3, “Trust in the Lord and do what is good; dwell in the land and live securely.” Our favorite version says, “…dwell in the land cultivate faithfulness.” That is what we do!
As God moves us to a new location we first establish our trust in the Lord and do what is good before Him and to those around us. Then we cultivate faithfulness— we live by faith, we plants seeds of trust, we practice peace and ask Him to “dwell with us.” Then we watch Him act on our behalf and on behalf of the people and land that He has placed us in.
The only other thing that we came to this region carrying was a powerful prophetic dream that I had in May 2019 of seeing “In God We Trust” restored in our nation. So, once again we cultivate trust— then we know that— “He will act, making your righteousness shine like the dawn, your justice like noonday.”
We moved to a city just south of DC that is the home of the national ministry (movement) called, “Awaken the Dawn” so when I read, “making your righteousness shine like the dawn”, I know that we are called to awaken righteousness and a movement of righteousness from this place through prayer and worship. We are in DC weekly where there is a hearing regarding justice happening even now— God will act and make our justice come forth like the noonday. HE WILL ACT AS WE TRUST! Noon is coming.
We are the Church and it is up to us to cultivate faithfulness and trust in the place that He has planted each of us! You may wonder why you are in the city or state that you are but let me suggest that you are there to cultivate the land, to hold the line and to establish righteousness and justice through your commitment to walking in HIS WAYS!
Let’s not cultivate agitation! We become agitated when we do not understand our enemy! Our enemy wants to provoke us so that we focus on being robbed, cheated, lied to and deceived. Though these things are true (and always have been— we are merely seeing with 20/20 vision now), the shift and change will not come through weapons of the flesh but through weapons of the Spirit! Peace, trust, righteousness, faithfulness and walking in His ways will cause God to act! Refrain from anger!
Let’s look at another few verses from Psalm 37,
“Refrain from anger and give up your rage; do not be agitated — it can only bring harm. For evildoers will be destroyed, but those who put their hope in the Lord will inherit the land.” Psalms 37:8-9
It’s time to inherit the land! But anger and agitation will only bring harm! God will destroy evildoers as we put our hope in the Lord and refrain from soulish reactions. The humble will inherit the land— not the arrogant evildoers who seek to provoke you to leave your place of trust and engage in their divisive and hateful tactics. Verse 11 says,
“But the humble will inherit the land and will enjoy abundant prosperity.” Psalms 37:11
It goes on to say, “The wicked person schemes against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him. The Lord laughs at him because He sees that his day is coming.” Psalms 37:12-13
Psalm 37 is a verse for this time! It paints a picture of how we are position ourselves to inherit the land and to prosper. I greatly admonish you to heed His instruction by refraining from agitation, the ways of the world and the provocation of the enemy. Trust in the Lord and do good— then God will act!
I also greatly encourage you to read, study and meditate in Psalm 37 during this time because it His wise instruction of how to inherit the land.
“Wait for the Lord and keep His way, and He will exalt you to inherit the land. You will watch when the wicked are destroyed. I have seen a wicked, violent man well-rooted like a flourishing native tree. Then I passed by and noticed he was gone; I searched for him, but he could not be found. Watch the blameless and observe the upright, for the man of peace will have a future.” Psalms 37:34-37
Please prayerfully consider supporting our ministry with a one time financial gift or by becoming a month financial partner. We need your help to dwell in this land!
I always love the Apostle Paul’s honesty regarding his self-evaluations in the scriptures. The more that the beauty and holiness of Christ is revealed to him, the more he realizes how weak, wretched and lacking he is. BUT…he does not at all despair in his self-evaluation because it merely causes the “glory of God” to be revealed all the more.
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
We all have weaknesses and areas that we battle for greater victory in. Some days end in great triumph, as Christ’s beauty and power is made manifest in you, and other days you lay down more aware of your weaknesses then ever before. It is in those times that, like Paul, that you can boast in your weakness because it is His power that will be seen and His glory that will manifest. On those hard days, before your Father, all that is seen is “Christ in you and His righteousness covering you.”
You are clothed in Christ. When you approach your Heavenly Father, He does not see your shortcomings, your weaknesses or flaws— He sees His Son! There is no stain upon Him and therefore— no stain is seen upon those who have been “baptized into Christ.”
“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians 3:27
Of course this does not mean that you make concessions for sin or that you do not fight against the temptation that comes but it does mean that He covers your nakedness in garments of righteousness and salvation. You need to continually put on “the new self” and yet know that when you fall short that you are still “Clothed in Christ.”
“I delight greatly in the Lord; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” Isaiah 61:10
What a beautiful truth that you can cling to! This gives you great cause to rejoice and be joyful. Yet, the enemy desires to steal this promise and truth from you. He sends his demons to watch for your areas of weakness, to provoke you in that area and to mock you in regards to that weakness. They whisper accusations to bring you shame and to cause you to hide from God. And yet, you must remember that you are not naked and exposed but clothed in robes of righteousness— the righteousness of Christ. There is no need to hide for a garment has been provided for you.
Once again, though you are clothed in Christ— daily remember to wear His righteousness in a manner that displays His worth and faithfulness. Just as you take up the armor of God each day, so you can train your soul to get dressed each morning in garments of righteousness.
When I became a Christian at 18 years old— I drastically changed the way that I had previously dressed. My nakedness had been exploited and even used for my advantage to gain what I desired. But when I was baptized into Christ, I was not only spiritually clothed and covered with His robe of righteousness but I also had to learn how to outwardly dress different and how to live differently. Now, 38 years later, I am still pressing in, through the help of the Holy Spirit, to see my life match and align with the garments that He has placed upon me. I do not want to be a stumbling block for those who see me therefore I deeply desire and fight to see Christ revealed in every part of me.
You are on a journey into maturity. It is so important to know that while you are journeying— “He has you covered!” Otherwise, you would be utterly defeated even before you began. You also must know that the pathway to purity never ends. We will always fall short of His glory but His righteousness is a robe that covers all of our unrighteousness. You are left never left naked and ashamed before your Heavenly Father.
So today get up and say to your soul, “You are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.” Then put your spiritual armor on and go out in victory, boldness, purity and His strength. It’s time to take down some giants by wearing His name!
While I was in worship and prayer yesterday I was suddenly encircled in the most intimate and powerful embrace I’ve have ever experienced— which immediately had me undone. As this happened I saw the “overcoming arms of Jesus” outstretched upon the cross with torn flesh and pierced hands that flowed with blood. I heard the words, “The Lamb has overcome.” Then, suddenly, I found those very arms around me, holding me in an embrace that was releasing love, mercy and overcoming authority into my life.
“But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” Psalm 3:31
His “overcoming arms” around me became like a shield— my glory— and it lifted my head with renewed confidence and courage. I immediately felt an inner-rest come upon me only came through all that He had overcome and defeated. I was no longer weary from all that I saw that needed to be defeated. It became the tangible reality of Zechariah 4:6,
“Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,” Says the Lord of hosts.
His Spirit that is in me carries His overcoming power and authority. His Spirit was allowing me to come into the embrace of the overcoming arms that paid the price for me and defeated sin and death. He overcame all the world! It was like being embraced by the words, “For God so loved the world that He sent His only Son.” (John 3:16).
A supernatural inner rest washed over me and through me like a cleansing flood of His finished work. I was brought into the arms of the author and finisher and all striving washed away.
“Cease striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46:10
Rest in Christ can be present even in the ongoing activity of the believer because it is an inner-rest that goes with you and silences demands while putting an end to striving. It wraps you in the victory and confidence of His finished work as His Spirit works through a yielded vessel. Striving ceases, fears are calmed, demands are silenced and a canopy of love comes over you like the wing of a mother hen over her chicks.
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” 1 John 4:41
He is in us, around us, before us and behind us. We have overcome because the Overcomer lives within us. The world may scream loud and demand an audience but the blood of Jesus speaks a better word and defeated the voices of threat and accusation. So we can rest in Him— our Risen King.
“Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.” 1 John 5:51
Come and find rest in the arms of the One who has overcome. Yield to His arms of love that will anoint you with His overcoming authority and seat you in Heavenly places where you will reign with Him forever.
Because He has overcome— you have overcome! Victory is yours.
“To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.” Revelation 3:21
Prayerfully consider sowing a financial seed of “overcoming” into this ministry.
Yesterday our church family was blessed to have Jonathan Tremaine Thomas (JT) from Civil Righteousness with us. During our time together he shared a profound dream about this time that we are living in and then shared these words,
“Our nation is under judgement and is on the brink of another civil war where there will surely be blood in our streets. But, we need to remember that we can cry out to God the words, ‘In judgement— remember mercy!’ This is our only hope for America. Cry out for mercy!”
I fully agree with JT’s words. I believe that October is a month to “cry out for mercy” like never before. As he spoke the words I saw in my spirit people in cities across our nation marching in unity and oneness, while crying out for mercy. I saw the words, “Mercy Marches.”
My family lives in a city where the most blood was spilled in the Civil War (Fredericksburg, Virginia) and our home is located on a Civil War Battlefield. I do not believe that it is a mistake or coincidence that God moved our family across the nation in January 2020 to occupy this ground with intercession and peace. From this place we will continuously cry out for “mercy to triumph over judgement!” No longer will we be a nation of brother against brother but rather we will link arms with our brothers and sisters to “be one even as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are one!”
I want to encourage you, wherever you are, to prayer walk the streets of your city, to call to the Ecclesia in your city and to bow your knee and ask God to render a verdict of mercy upon our nation. I believe that there is a short window left before we see a real life civil war break out if we do not turn the heart of God through cries of mercy.
We are seeing many initiatives in our nation that have been gathering the Ecclesia to repent, worship, return and humble ourselves to pray. We were at “The Return” in Washington D.C. (and the Franklin Graham Prayer Walk)— I could feel a shift during this time. I was with Sean Feucht in Portland, Oregon and will be again here in Washington DC on October 25th. Around the nation God’s people are striking the ground over and over. My sense is that October is the final strike to turn the tide from judgement to mercy. Let us pray and cry out like never before!
“I have heard all about you, LORD. I am filled with awe by your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as you did in years gone by. And in your anger, remember your mercy.” Habakkuk 3:2 (NLT)
God loves mercy, He loves justice and He loves America. But because of His righteous justice, He brings forth judgement. Though God never changes— did you know that His people can change His mind from executing judgement to pouring out mercy? This is a time that we, His people, can turn a nation to be “saved in a day!”
Today— cry out for mercy! Do not delay but rather raise your voice, bow your knee and walk your city to cry out for mercy. It is time for “Mercy Marches” to take place across our nation!
If you would like to organize one in your city; write to me at: email@example.com
Please stand with us in prayer and financial support as we move forward to organize “Mercy Marches” throughout America.
There is such blessings released upon those who obey! When my children were young my husband and I worked hard to teach them the value and rewards of obedience. When they listened to our voices, obeying what we spoke, their lives were surrounded by saftey, pleasures, wisdom, blessings and peace. Yet, on those occasions that they would exercise their “own stubborn will” they would quickly find their souls and circumstances in turmoil. In childhood we are to learn to live a life that values obedience and wisdom so that in adulthood we can walk in covenant with God.
We can come up with a thousand different reasons that the nations are in turmoil and people are in misery but the root of it all is “broken covenant through disobedience to the voice of God.”
Jeremiah 11 gives us a great example of this,
“Tell them that this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘Cursed is the one who does not obey the terms of this covenant— the terms I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron-smelting furnace.’ I said, ‘Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God. Then I will fulfill the oath I swore to your ancestors, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey’—the land you possess today.” I answered, “Amen, Lord.”” Jeremiah 11:3-5
God is not a controlling tyrant but rather a loving and wise Father who knows what will bless those He created and what will harm them. He merely desires us to walk in blessings, life, freedom from harm, health and prosperity. He knows the path to take us there and yet many have turned away from His voice of wisdom and the blame Him for the turmoil in their lives.
Again and again throughout scripture the Lord says, “Obey My voice.” But, again and again mankind turns away from His voice to follow other gods and “the stubbornness of his evil heart (Jer. 11:8).”
We must understand that blessings follow obedience and covenant but curses follow broken covenant and disobedience. The Book of Proverbs is a manual to sons of “how to live” that make all of this known to those who desire wisdom. I love to pray for God to give me the wisdom and understanding that all of creation was formed from. If creation was formed out of God’s wisdom and understanding then it is part of the DNA of us and of the universe— therefore, it only makes sense to ask for the wisdom of God that aligns us with all of creation and our Creator.
“By wisdom the Lord laid the earth’s foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place; by his knowledge the watery depths were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew. My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgment and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared.” Proverbs 3:19-26
It is so wise to obey! His wisdom is filled with promises and protection for your life. Wisdom is grace for you, safety to you, assurance upon you and peace around you.
God, in His great mercy, gives second chances for men and women to turn from stubborn and rebellious ways (foolish ways) so that they can come back into the grip of covenant and obedience— redeeming the blessings of covenant and breaking the curses of rebellion.
This is probably my greatest prayer for the nations, my loved ones and for my life. “Let us obey Your voice!” May the nations repent for broken covenant, for stubborn rebellion and for disobeying the voice of God. I pray that every man, woman and child would obey the voice of God and watch the blessings of wisdom and covenant restored to their lives and their land.
Cry out for wisdom! Obey His voice and watch salvation come upon every area of your life.
