He Makes The Darkness Tremble

by Kathi Pelton

As many of you know, I asked for prayer yesterday (and wow, I got it!). I have an amazing prayer team that covers us, our ministry and our family so I don’t normally “go public!” Yesterday I did because I knew that the name of Jesus makes the darkness tremble and that my faithful friends and followers would speak His name and each time they would that light would dispel darkness.

I don’t know if what I’ve been dealing with recently is warfare, just being worn-down or witchcraft (or all three) but I do know that, whatever the case is, His name sheds light and changes the atmosphere! Just the mention of His name makes the darkness tremble! Through His grace I can handle difficult circumstances and physical challenges (not that I invite them!) but when I can’t find the One my heart longs for it becomes time to make the darkness tremble at the mention of His name!

There has been a increased level of warfare coming at God’s people. I don’t say that to glorify the enemy or to focus on the battle but as God’s people have been arising with such beauty, unity, power and surrender they are taking back ground that has been long held by the enemy. His “kingdom” is being shaken by the unshakable Kingdom of God! A great army is arising…dry bones are coming to life! This has created a great battle in the heavens and on the earth.

As we witness tragedies like the death of Toby Mac’s young son, the suicides of well-loved and known young pastors, and the intense warfare over our leaders and president, we must remember that we have a name that we can all upon who rescues and saves. When I’m at a complete loss I will often just sit and repeat His name over and over. His name washes over me like waves of mercy that remove the fog and confusion. Within His name is every answer needed to rescue and save us from even the greatest despair.

As I read about the loss of Toby Mac’s, and his wife Amanda’s, sudden loss of their precious son, all I could do was speak the name of Jesus as a prayer over them. Jesus knows what it is like to feel the weight of the deepest grief and our Heavenly Father has also watched His Son die. He is acquainted with with our sorrows and deepest grief.

“He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.” Isaiah 53:3

Jesus took all grief, sorrow, sin and hopelessness upon Himself on the cross and purchased victory. We are no longer hopeless, even in death! We are comforted by the victory of eternal life and a grace that carries us into His resurrection. Jesus not only made the darkness tremble but He defeated death and the grave! He is always the joy set before us; there is no circumstance in which we have been left to utter hopelessness. His life and light gives us an abiding place where hope is alive.

When you feel the darkness closing in around you, declare the name of Jesus and watch the darkness tremble. When death surrounds you, Jesus brings the hope of resurrection life! When sorrow overwhelms you, Jesus comforts you and lifts you up out of despair. When lack is all you see, Jesus blesses your “small offering” and feeds the multitudes; leaving you with much more than you began with (see Mark 8:8). Victory is sure, no matter the circumstance; for nothing can reverse what He has already done!

We do face sorrows and suffering but not without hope. We face battles but with victory assured, because the greatest battle is death and that has already been defeated!

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

The darkness cannot separate you from the love of God that is in our precious Savior! He makes the darkness tremble and He opens graves with resurrection life! Just the mention of His name brings light and life.

Thank you to all who mentioned His name over my life yesterday! You brought light and lifted me above the darkness. Let’s do that for those in need today. Let’s call out on the name of Jesus for those suffering and in deep grief

. We are an army of light and His name is written upon our hearts. We will arise and declare into the atmosphere and into nations the worth of Jesus. We will shout about the victory of our King.

Let’s join Him in making the darkness tremble today! Release so much light that even graves burst open with resurrection life! An army of light is rising up declaring the name of Jesus!

I Woke Up Hearing, “Tell My Sons and Daughters How Much I Love Them!”

by Kathi Pelton

As I woke up this morning I immediately felt a rush of deep emotion and heard these words, “Tell my sons and daughters how much I love them!” My eyes filled with tears because of the raw emotion in His words. His words touched the depths of my soul.

Then He said, “The demons have been sent out on a campaign to convince my children that they have failed, that they have somehow fallen away, drifted too far or done something that has separated them from My love. Tell them this; nothing can separate them from My love! I am closer than ever and long to calm their fears and assure them that I am near. Oh how I love My children! Tell them that!”

Then I saw angels that had been held back by a great battle in the heavens break through the resistance and rush to those who had been attacked by these demonic lies and torment. They rushed with a healing balm and pure water to heal the wounds caused by this fierce attack.

I saw our beautiful Savior bend down from Heaven and He wept with such love over His sons and daughters pain. His tears became a washing from the “filthy lies” they had been barraged with. They were being cleaned by His tears of love.

It reminded me of the time many year ago when one of my sons began to believe some terrible lies about himself and I just took him in my arms and said, “That is not who you are or how I see you!” I just held him as we both wept until he knew he was loved once again.

His love is stronger than the grave! Be restored to His great love right now! Oh how He loves you and how pleased He is merely with your desire for Him. When you fall He rushes to pick you up, when you fail He is so proud of your effort, when you get scared He is so quick to calm your fears. He is right there with you— right now!

Washington, D.C. Ministry Update— and More!

After our week in the capital of Canada (Ottawa, Ontario) to be a part of the Watchmen for the Nations “As One” gathering and to pray on Parliament Hill, we headed to Washington, D.C. to pray in our capital city.

Stopping In Gettysburg to pray along the way was a surprise request from the Lord but turned out to be a powerful time.

After arriving in DC we have gone to numerous places to pray together; the Lincoln Memorial, Viet Nam Memorial Wall, David’s Tent, Arlington National Cemetery, The US Capitol, US Archives and the Supreme Court.

Yesterday we gathered with Bound for Life and did a “Silent Siege” for the unborn at the US Supreme Court. After the silent siege we prayed and took communion together.

Tomorrow we will be speaking at a church just outside of DC in Virginia. We are looking forward to connecting with more of the body of Christ in this area.

On the 20th we will leave for Fredericksburg, Virginia to prepare for the Awaken the Dawn National Prayer Gathering with Chuck Pierce, Rick Joyner, Brian Francis Hume, David Bradshaw and others. Please pray that all the the Lord has on His heart for this time will be accomplished. The gathering is August 22-24.

Once again we want to give you the opportunity to invest in the fulfillment of this prayer journey that we have been on along with many others who have prayed and stood with us in financial support. We stepped out in faith to say “yes” to the Lord’s request for us to go on this lengthy journey that spans two nations and many states and provinces. Thank you for stepping out with us– we know that your reward will be great!

Thank you for the continued prayers and to invest into this ongoing journey, you can go to: https://www.inscribeministries.com/

Mercy Is Falling Upon You!

by Kathi Pelton

As I waited on the Lord I began to hear the words, “Mercy is falling, mercy is falling!” Then I saw what looked like a waterfall of mercy coming from the mercy seat of God. It was pouring down upon those who were crying out for mercy.

God’s mercy is a powerful and amazing gift that comes out of His love and compassion upon those who deserve judgement. It is defined like this:

Mercy: compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.

“For judgment is without mercy to one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.” James 2:13

I then saw people who were relentlessly being accused by the enemy; even of things that had actually occurred (legitimate accusations but ones that had been covered in the blood of Jesus). They were overcome with regret, guilt, remorse and deep sorrow. They were bowed down begging the Lord for mercy and the Lord’s great compassion met their cry. He bent down to comfort and have mercy upon them.

The mercy seat is sprinkled with the blood of the Lamb and I saw those that were bend down suddenly being before the mercy seat where the blood of Jesus brought forth forgiveness, compassion, and redemption. The waterfall of mercy was flowing and washing away regrets, guilt, and judgement. The accusations suddenly were “thrown out” and silenced because mercy was triumphing with victory over judgement.

His mercy was releasing divine help needed to redeem circumstances that were caused by past actions that created hardships and a heavy yoke that weighed down upon people. True repentance was bringing great freedom upon lives spiritually and overflowing to touch natural circumstances.

There is mercy flowing down from the mercy seat of God for you right now. It is the blood of the Lamb that has provided mercy and grace for those who will come before Him in surrender and humility.

“…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.” Romans‬ ‭3:23-26‬ ‭

Oh, how amazing is the blood of Jesus that washes away our sins and is the justifier for those who have faith in Him!

Your “But God…” Moment Is Upon You!

by Kathi Pelton

• When God speaks, bad reports become praise reports.

• When God moves, dark storms become still waters.

• When God blesses, a small offering is multiplied into abundant supply.

• When God touches, the blind man sees and the lame man dances.

• When God commands, mountains move and a way is made.

• When God delivers, demons flee and men are restored.

• When God loves, broken lives are forever changed!

Every day with God is a day of miracles! Whatever your need is today, there is a “But God…” opportunity before you. No matter how big or how small, how crucial or how trivial; He loves to speak, move, bless, deliver and love you.

Do not be discouraged by the challenges that are before you because they are about to become your “But God…” testimony. Get excited because if God is for you then who (or what) can stand against you?

“God, today we stand with great expectation to hear you speak, to see you move, to witness your touch, to watch you command, to experience your deliverance and to live within the power of your love!”

There is a “But God…” moment about to invade your story!

Keys, Mysteries and Purification

by Kathi Pelton

At the beginning of the year the Lord told me that 2019 would be a “Year of Demarcation.” I knew that February would be a significant month that highlighted moments of demarcation. Beginning 2/12 to 2/22 there was a significant shift, moving the body of Christ into a greater authority that will expose things hidden in darkness, bring forth light, open and close doors, and see both mercy and judgement released.

There are three Scriptures that the Spirit of the Lord highlighted to me. All three of the verse references have the numbers 222 within them.

They are Isaiah 22:22, Daniel 2:22 and Revelation2:22. Let’s look at them and then begin to unpack them a bit.

“I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.” ‭Isaiah‬ ‭22:22‬ ‭

“He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him.” Daniel‬ ‭2:22‬ ‭

“So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways.” Revelation‬ ‭2:22‬ ‭

In Isaiah 22:22 we see a key of authority given that can open and shut doors. We have entered a time of possessing the keys of authority to shut doors that the enemy has held open to bring about demonic laws, agendas, deceptions, defilements, and darkness; these doors will begin to close through the power of prayer and the authority of Jesus Christ given to the church. The word “Holiness” will be written upon these keys.

The authority that comes to those who will follow His ways and walk in His truths (not adding or subtracting from His Word) will receive keys of authority such as Jesus had when He walked on earth.

“To all who are victorious, who obey me to the very end, To them I will give authority over all the nations. They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots. They will have the same authority I received from my Father, and I will also give them the morning star!” Revelation‬ ‭2:26-28‬

“They will have the same authority…” Incredible!

Daniel 2:22 is upon us as God is revealing deep and hidden things: both truths and deceptions. He is using the most unlikely men and women to bring this about! In the midst of deep darkness His light will be revealed. The enemy’s “underbelly” will be exposed; shields that have protected and hidden satanic strongholds will suddenly be removed, allowing the light to penetrate the darkness. The enemy will be found vulnerable and exposed in many ways and arenas.

Lastly, Revelation 2:22 deals with the spirit of Jezebel. In this chapter the Church of Thyatira is rebuked for “tolerating that woman- Jezebel.” Verse 22 not only brings judgement upon this spirit of deception and defilement, but it calls those who have joined with her into repentance or they will also be judged.

This is a time that we are seeing this spirit exposed (judged) and “those who have joined with with her” given a chance to repent. It is very sobering because it says that those who do not repent will suffer greatly. How merciful it is of our God to offer a time of repentance. This is His mercy because He does not desire to bring judgement.

The end result of this purification, exposure of darkness, and closing doors will be the return of “Holiness unto the Lord” upon His bride.

We will see righteousness, mercy, light, purity, truth, integrity, and the fear of the Lord come upon the church, and this will result in great authority that replaces the kingdom of darkness and deception with the Kingdom of light and of truth.

This is a time of demarcation that is removing the filthy garments from God’s priests as we see in Zechariah 3. We pray for mercy to triumph over judgement and for the fear of the Lord and holiness unto the Lord to come upon His bride.

Watch As Goodness and Mercy Are Poured Over Your Life

Kathi Pelton

Today the Spirit of the Lord showed me a picture of a liquid substance being poured over the heads of His sons and daughters. As it was being poured great joy was coming upon them. Then I heard the words from Psalm 23:6(a)

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life…”

The liquid substance was His goodness and mercy being poured out in great abundance over our lives!

The verse the proceeds this one (verse 5) says,

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭23:5‬ ‭

This is a “cup running over time”. You will see and experience His goodness and His mercy being poured over your life and you will feast upon the fruits of what He has done for you!

You will shout, “Come and see what the Lord has done, the amazing things he has done on the earth.” Psalm 46:8

Not only will He display His goodness and mercy in the lives of His people but the Lord will show Himself as “God of the Nations” in the days ahead. Though there will be shakings and clashes within nations, the Lord will subdued enemies and bare His mighty arm of power to do what only He can do.

We will be witnesses of the sovereignty of God in the days ahead. Posture yourself in that truth and apply your faith to His sovereign ability to do what no man can do; for you and for nations. Look beyond the natural and see how the arm of the Lord is reaching into the earthly impossibles to show His goodness and mercy.

Look up and receive the outpouring of goodness and mercy. Let the joy of this gift revive you and fill you into new life. Allow your cup of thankfulness to overflow as He causes your cup to overflow with favor and blessings.

A Vision For The United States of America

Kathi Pelton

As I was having a conversation with another prophetic voice about “Jesus as our plumb line”, I was taken into a vision for our nation.

Vision:

I saw a plumb line that was hanging from heaven over the United States of America. To the left of the plumb line was a camp of people that were zealously trumpeting their demands that were humanistic and contrary to Biblical truth. To the right of the plumb line was another camp of people that were equally zealous about their demand for religious rights and conservative standards and yet they were trumpeting their “cause” in the name of Christ but not from the love of Christ. In the center was the plumb line that aligns all with perfect love and truth…Jesus.

The left and the right had set up camps of “for and against”. They were both eating the fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil but the plumb line of Christ stood as the “Tree of Life”.

As I was watching this vision the plumb line suddenly turned into a carpenter’s chalkline. I saw the chalkline snap to mark a line of truth that would allow for a straight and righteous cut to be made that is aligned with Jesus the plumb line. It was a standard being set by the Spirit of the Lord.

When this happened the scene immediately changed and I was looking at the scene of when Jesus was with the women who was caught in adultery and those who were about to stone her. I saw Jesus as the plumb line in this scene as He sat between two opposing opinions and as He spoke the words, “He without sin cast the first stone.” As He spoke these words I heard the snap of the chalkline that set the standard and caused all flesh to humble themselves to His wisdom and perfect love. Truth and unfailing love brought forth wisdom, justice, mercy and repentance to those with the stones as well as to the woman caught in sin.

Jesus is marking our nation with a line that makes clear His standard. His standard will cut through the soul to make way for the Spirit of the Lord. The soulish justice of men on both the left and the right will be exposed as flesh and the Lord’s standard of justice will bring life and the Spirit of Truth.

We must guard our hearts from the zeal of the soul that takes sides or creates camps. We must only have a zeal for Christ and His standard that brings life, unity and oneness with God. We must not continue eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil but choose to eat from the Tree of Life. The knowledge of good and evil does not produce life for it lacks perfect love and mercy; only bringing the judgements of men.

God is marking our nation with a line that brings life and not death, unity and not division, truth rather than opinion. This chalkline will make a clear and precise cut in our nation that will be filled with the mercy of the Lord as He declares over us, “Mercy triumphs over judgement!”

Greater Is He That Is In You

Kathi Pelton

For those who woke up today feeling defeated:

Greater is He that is in you!

For those who woke up today feeling sick:

Greater is He that is in you!

For those who woke up today feeling grief:

Greater is He that is in you!

For those who woke up today feeling alone:

Greater is He that is in you!

For those who woke up today feeling afraid:

Greater is He that is in you!

Jesus does not change even in the midst of fear, pain or sorrow. The world is ever shifting and always changing but “Greater is He” who never changes.

No matter what you woke up today feeling…within you is one that is greater than anything that you are facing. His love is greater, His power is greater, His compassion is greater, His grace is greater and His plans for you are greater.

His thoughts toward you outnumber the grains of sand and those thoughts never change. They are endless and infinite and good! His thoughts are perfect and His ways are perfect…higher and greater than our thoughts about ourselves or our lives.

His ability and power to save you and deliver you from all that is bigger than you is greater than what is standing against you. His compassion reaches farther than your pain and His mercy triumphs over judgements.

He is greater and He is within you! What is bigger than you is still not greater than Him! He will show His greatness in your life! Trust Him.

Shout “Mercy” Over Your Prodigal

Kathi Pelton

I recently heard a story during one of our Sunday services that the Spirit of God has been bringing back to me again and again.

The story was about a young man who had committed the crime of desertion from Napoleon’s army for which he received a sentence of death. His distraught mother went before Napoleon and begged for mercy for her only son. He said to her,

“Your son does not deserve mercy.”

The mother replied,

“If he deserved mercy he would not be in need of it.”

When Napoleon heard this he was moved with compassion and showed her mercy by pardoning her son and returning him to his mother.

Mercy is what is shown to one who deserves judgement; it is completely unmerited by the recipient. Mercy flows out of a place of compassion and unconditional love toward the guilty and the condemned. Grace, on the other hand, is unmerited favor. It is what brings forgiveness and provides salvation to the one who cries out in repentance.

In the story that I shared above, the son didn’t cry out for mercy; his mother did. Since hearing this story I have heard the Lord ask me again and again to “Shout for mercy!” over the prodigals.

My husband and I have four beautiful children; our oldest daughter we adopted when she was a year old. Her adoption was the most radical miracle I’ve ever personally witnessed. The day that we brought this beautiful baby home was the best day of my life. I remember sitting in the back seat of our car with her sleeping next to me in her car seat. I touched her little hands and toes and wept in awe of this gift that God had delivered into our hands. She was perfect and she was ours…she was a desire and promise fulfilled for us.

When she became an older teen we watched the enemy bring an assignment upon her life to steal her away. For the past decade she has lived as a prodigal in a life that is so much less than God’s plans for her and our dreams for her. Although all of our other children are walking strong in the Lord, our hearts live with a daily ache to see our “promise baby” return to the Lord (we know that she will!).

As the mom of a prodigal, this exhortation to “shout for mercy” for the prodigals and the story of the mom begging the judge for mercy for her son, has deeply stirred my heart. I find myself driving in my car shouting “Mercy” over her and “Mercy” over all the prodigal sons and daughters. Like the father in the story of the prodigal son, I am always watching down the road for our daughter to return home. I will run to her when she does.

Though these prodigals are not crying out for mercy, their moms can cry out for them. There is a judge in heaven who is full of mercy and full of compassion. Go before the mercy seat of God and plead mercy for your prodigal child or loved one. In Exodus 25:22 God makes a promise regarding the mercy seat saying,

“There I will meet with you.”

In the Old Testament, the mercy seat was sprinkled with blood when the priest came before it. It had two gold cherubim on either side of it and it was the place where God’s presence rested. When Jesus rose from the dead, there were two angels dressed in white at the head and foot of where the blood stained body of Jesus had laid. It was a perfect picture of the mercy seat.

You are invited to go before the mercy seat of God, where He will meet with you, and ask for the blood of Jesus to come upon your prodigal and mercy to be declared over their lives.

Shout mercy! Mothers…shout mercy! Wives…shout mercy! The Merciful One is saying, “Shout Mercy”! There is an agreement between your shout and His compassion that will bring the breakthrough. Don’t stop!

“But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” Matthew 9:13
