Oh, how He loves you! A Valentines Note from Jesus…

For those of you that feel a pang of pain on Valentine’s Day because you don’t have that “someone special” to spend it with or who will shower you with their adoration; the Lord wants you to know this…

You can never be more loved and adored than you are right now! You take His breath away, you capture His heart and cause His affections to be poured out over you like rain. His love for you is deep, wide and fierce. He will forever be your Bridegroom who gave His all for you. If you had been the only one, He would have still poured His all out to purchase you for Himself.

Today, He chooses you as His own. You are His beloved and He will shower you with a love that will not fade like vases of flowers. His love will bloom brighter day after day.

Happy Valentines Day Beloved ♥️

Stay In The Moment

Kathi Pelton

There were so many things that I have learned throughout the past years as the Lord continually goes deeper and aligns my life with the plumb line of heaven. One of the most amazing things has been a simple and foundational truth that was somehow not being lived out in my daily journey to the full degree that the Lord desired.

That truth comes in this simple phrase,

“Stay in the moment!”

The Bible speaks of this in many different ways,

““So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.” Matthew‬ ‭6:34‬

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬

“Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear. For life is more than food, and your body more than clothing. Look at the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for God feeds them. And you are far more valuable to him than any birds! Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things? “Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?” Luke‬ ‭12:22-28‬ ‭

In the “seen” or natural world I could easily find so much to worry about; and for many years I did just that! What a waste of time and joy. The enemy, who is a thief, takes great pleasure in casting shadows upon God’s people in hopes that they will abandon His peace and promises and take up the heavy yoke of worry. Whether it be finances, jobs, health or relationships, he comes to attack the natural areas seeking to disrupt the spiritual areas. If we begin to focus on the problems we will lose faith and let go of the peace and grace that today offers through faith.

I personally had a number of things throughout 2018 that could have easily stolen my peace (which is one of the greatest gifts the Lord has given me!). Each time the enemy would come to “cast a dark shadow” on a natural circumstance I’d hear the Lord whisper to me,

“Kathi, stay in the moment; remain in Me.”

As I allowed the Spirit of the Lord to reign my thoughts and heart back into the moment, His peace would flood me and guard my heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). If I ever allowed my mind to wander into the shadows I would immediate loose my peace and meet a spirit called “dread”. Dread holds hands with fear and the result for those caught in their trap is panic and anxiety.

God has called us to stay in the moment, stay in the day and stay in His peace. This is how we remain in Him. In that place you will hear His whisper of instruction and you will apprehend faith through prayer and praise. Peace will flood you once again.

There was a particular situation that I was facing in the latter months of 2018 that “in the natural” could have caused great anxiety and worry. Each time the enemy would extend his hand to offer me worry and to cause my mind to wander down his dark path, I’d once again hear the Lord speak, “Trust me daughter and stay in the moment.”

When the situation that I was facing finally materialize, there was almost immediately provision for every need that stood before me. Had I allowed my heart to worry about tomorrow it would have wasted two months of my life. Instead of allowing dread and fear to rule my soul, I allowed my faith to be joined with His peace and promises which did not fail me!

We can make our needs known to Him through pray but then we must enter into the thanksgiving that He has heard us and will answer us. Dread and fear are a killer of faith and peace and where there is no peace there is no joy.

I encourage you to make 2019 a year that you train your soul to “stay in the moment!” Remain in peace, in rest and in the confident assurance of His provision for tomorrow. Remain in Him! Put worry under your feet and let His peace guard your heart and mind.

He is forever faithful!

Things Are Not As They Appear

Kathi Pelton

The morning after the US mid-term elections I woke up hearing the Spirit of the Lord speak the words,

“Things are not as they appear.”

Although He was speaking of the election outcome, I knew in my spirit that He was also speaking about many things that look one way but there is more going on than we can perceive with our eyes.

I knew that things nationally, corporately and personally should not be judged by sight but by the Spirit of the Lord and according to His faithfulness.

Then, just days later on 11/11 I was drawn to to Hebrews 11:11 that says,

“By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:11

For Abraham and Sarah things were not as they appeared either. The promised of a child appeared to reached its “expiration date”. Sarah was no longer in her child-bearing years. But here is the key of faith that most people miss in this verse, “…because she judged Him faithful who had promised.”

Far too often I receive letters or hear Christians talking about how they are disappointed in God because He did not keep His promise to them or a prophetic word did not come to pass in the time frame that they expected.

I have a number of promises and prophetic words that “if I were to judge by my eyes” would appear to be past the season of possible fulfillment. BUT…I do not judge my God on what my eyes see but rather upon who I know He is! He is faithful and I will never cease to declare this or “judge/discern” Him as such. His promises are true and He is forever faithful.

November has been a month of amazing contrast. The natural (seen) world seems to be declaring defeats and destruction but the unseen world is announcing that we have entered a time of “promises fulfilled”. What report will we believe? Will we walk by faith or by sight? Will we judge God as faithful or accuse Him of not keeping His promises or fulfilling prophetic words?

One thing that I have discovered through walking in the prophetic culture for almost thirty years is that I must trust His timing and to posture my life in His faithfulness; even when my eyes see another story playing out before me. In a moment everything can turn and change.

At the time that Sarah received her long-awaited promise everything in the natural realm was narrating the story as one of failure of defeat. But God had the final word and He was the author of her promise and her story. He had a surprise ending that brought forth the promise of a son. She believed God to be faithful and she received her promise.

I see in my spirit long awaited promises that look like the nine month belly of a pregnant woman. The due date is upon these promises to come forth! It is as though I can feel the fullness of time regarding promises of old being fulfilled. Your natural surroundings may be shouting a different outcome and story but the One who is faithful is bringing forth Hebrew 11 promises that seem past the time of possibility.

Posture your life and your faith in the place that declares Him faithful and true. Your story is not finished and He has the final word. Take hope and strengthen your soul in the truth of His faithfulness.

John 11:11 also speaks of a different outcome than the eyes can see and a far more dramatic one,

“After saying these things, he said to them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.”” John‬ ‭11:11‬

Just as God awakened Lazarus from the dead so He will awaken dead promises and dreams that you have buried. They will come forth and live! He is faithful!

Stay In The Moment

Kathi Pelton

I woke up this morning and heard the Spirit of the Lord say,

“Stay in this moment; for that is where you will find grace, strength and peace.”

This is not to say that you should not dream of tomorrow but do not fret about tomorrow. This moment is where grace is found so don’t use it up on tomorrow. God lives outside of time so He is in your yesterday, today and tomorrow…and every day thereafter. He is already there for you and making a way for everything that you need.

Find Him in your now and you will find grace, strength and peace in this moment. His breakthrough has been promised to you and His promise is sure. Take a moment to get back into “this moment” and then realize that He is sitting there with you, holding your hand and longing for intimacy with you. Let everything else go as you trust in your Beloved Savior…He is mighty to save you!

Now breathe!

He Invites You To “Come In” and Rest

Kathi Pelton

As we move into the chilly days of fall and winter there tends to be a greater desire to experience the “comforts of home”. A crackling fire, a warm blanket, dim lights, a hot beverage and the comfort of being surrounded by those we love. Although we get precious moments like these that bring great comfort, the majority of our time is spent working, preparing meals, driving in traffic, cleaning and paying bills.

As I sat down to spend time with the Lord this morning I remembered a photo of our home from a couple of years ago. It was taken as we walked into our front door after returning from a long ministry trip. The warmth and light of “home” (see picture above) was almost overwhelming. It was one of those moments that catches you off guard and immediately fills you with welcome, comfort and love.

This morning as I sat down to be with Jesus I saw Him in this very same way. The door of His heart was open and inside was beauty, light, comfort and love. Peace flooded me as I stepped inside of the secret place where I could rest in His arms. Within His heart there was no demands, no lack, no burden…just warmth and beauty. Today He wasn’t opening up with any expectation except to be together.

Though there are times where the secret place becomes a place where we share His burdens through deep intercession and receive wisdom and strategies for the days ahead; there are also days that He merely invites us to sit before the fire of His love and drink of His lovingkindness. He sets a meal of kindness for us to feast upon and He blankets us with comfort that remains; surrounding us with the welcome of heaven.

For me, today is one of those time. I see Him inviting you into His heart where a “living room” awaits full of the comforts of His love. He will be your holy escape from the chill of the day and He will warm you with all of His goodness. He is not just a comforter for those who grieve but He is also the comforter that gives us a place of home and rest from the busy and fast paced world that we live in.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

He is inviting you today to “Come in.” The door of His heart is open.

It’s Time To Receive Abundant Life

Kathi Pelton

Those who know me well know that 10:10 are special numbers to me. A few years back the Lord spoke them over my husband and I when we moved to Oregon. They represent a couple of different things to us but mostly the wonderful verse in John 10:10,

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].”

We had gone through a number of years that it felt like all that we were experiencing was the thief (we were robbed, our house burned, deaths, accusations…you name it!). Then, suddenly life returned and it returned with an abundance of peace, joy and love. It was a 10:10 moment that has carried on with abundance in our hearts since that time.

When I saw today’s date (10/01) I saw a vision of a sudden “turnaround” for many of you that have faced a long season of experiencing the “thief”. The “01” turned around and became a “10” and before my eyes were the numbers 10/10 illuminating with light in a celebratory display.

You shall have life, enjoy life and it will overflow with abundance! As you have chosen Jesus through the dark season that had been filled with trials, now you will receive His promise of life and all of His benefits with great fullness and abundance.

Declare the overflow! It is yours to take! Declare the abundance! It is His to give to you! Declare the fullness! It is His portion for you! And declare double restoration!!! Because that is who He is!

Instead of your shame you will have a double portion; And instead of humiliation your people will shout for joy over their portion. Therefore in their land they will possess double; Everlasting joy will be theirs.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:7

Your abundant harvest is upon you!

Sow into your abundant harvest season!

The 10:10 Turnaround!

Kathi Pelton

I was praying over someone last night and as I prayed I saw the numbers 10:10; then they reversed position revealing a “new 10:10.” Then the Lord said,

“My abundant life is overtaking and arresting the thief that came to kill, steal, and destroy from my sons and daughters.”

There is a 10:10 (John 10:10) turnaround that is happening.

“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying (abundant) life.” John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭

God’s plan and purpose is overtaking the thief’s purposes that have been robbing many of God’s people from experiencing a rich and abundant life.

Once again I am reminded of what the Lord has been speaking to me so much this past season regarding fear: partnering with it unlocks and opens the back door that the enemy (thief) comes through. As God’s people are exchanging a spirit of fear for the fear of the Lord, which encompasses His perfect love (which casts out fear), it is evicting the thief from their lives and closing the doors that he’s come through.

John 10:7-9 say this,

“…I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures.”‭‭

Jesus is the gate that we enter through, and as we allow Him to be the only opening (doorway) in our lives then we will experience good green pastures that the thief cannot enter. The foundation of the fear of the Lord is the gateway to many promises. It is the divine turnaround of John 10:10!

This is where we begin to feast upon the promises found in Psalm 23.

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, And I shall dwell forever [throughout all my days] in the house and in the presence of the LORD.” Psalm 23:5-6‬ ‭

The thief may be present in this world but even in the presence of our enemies God prepares a feast of His goodness and unfailing love for His people. Jesus is the entrance gate to this place and the thief cannot come in.

This is a 10:10 turnaround that is evicting the thief, along with the fear and trauma that he has brought upon so many. The fear of the Lord, which fully encompasses His perfect and unfailing love, is being restored in His people’s lives. It is a holy SHIFT that is resetting lives and restoring promises and inheritances that were stolen.

Enter into the turnaround and the shift that releases rich, satisfying, and abundant life to you. Sow your faith into the fear of the Lord and enter into a fast from every other fear.

Your Captivity is Over!

Kathi Pelton

We are in a time that the Spirit of the Lord is very intentional about setting the captives free. No matter how big or seemingly small the captivity is in your life; God is doing a deep work in order to set you free. Captivity binds people to chains of slavery and Jesus came to set captives free.

You are about to move from a place of captivity to a state of being captivated by Jesus. The enemy holds people captive in order to keep them from being captivated by Christ and Christ alone. You will be captivated by His beauty, by His love, and by the way He moves.

There is a divine exchange happening now where we can exchange the captivity of depression, the captivity of sin, the captivity of unbelief and the captivity of oppression for being captivated with Jesus.

““The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free,” Luke‬ ‭4:18‬ ‭

I proclaim to you today, in the fourth month of 2018 the Word of the Lord from Luke 4:18; that you will be set free from your captivity so that you can be captivated with Christ! The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon you and you will be the living message of the “good news”. Your freedom will result in the freedom for many as they see the One that you have become captivated by. Their blind eyes will open and they too will look upon His beauty and their chains will fall away.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭

God is breaking off the heavy yoke (chain) of slavery that was put upon you by the spirits of this world. He is placing upon you a garment of grace that ushers you into His light and easy burden and that opens your eyes to see Him as He is. Stand firm Beloved! Do not allow old spirits that gripped and chained you in the past come back upon you. You are a son and not a slave!

The religious spirit seeks to devour intimacy, the orphan spirit seeks to devour sonship, the poverty spirit seeks to devour inheritance and every anti-Christ spirit will surely devour being captivated by the beauty of Jesus! Shake yourself free from every entanglement with these spirits; bind yourself to the Holy Spirit who will draw you into all of the abundant blessings reserved for those who put their hope in God.

Get ready to be free and to be captivated by a beauty that you never before imagined. This is the day of freedom…the year of the Lord where His Spirit is the only spirit that is upon you. Every other spirit is broken and you are free!

Let Hope Arise

Kathi Pelton

I was on a prayer assignment with a team this week and before we went out we were hearing the verse from Hebrews 6:19-20,

“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews‬ ‭6:19-20‬ ‭

What promise are we hoping for? It is found in the verse prior,

“…saying, ‘Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.’” Hebrews 6:14

As we went out on our prayer assignment, every place we went we saw anchors. God was declaring hope over His people and over our nation.

The thief (Satan) is the one who plots and plans how to break through the stronghold of hope to devour the believer. Yet, we know that though he comes to kill, steal, and destroy that we have the hope and assurance of abundant life in Jesus (John 10:10).

This “hope” is not wishful thinking or a foolish desire; it is an anchor that secures you to His promise. It is so sure and weighty that as long as you have hope you are unmovable. The waves will not cause you to drift into the enemy’s fury. Our hope is absolute assurance!

“Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” Hebrews 11:1

The large anchor that holds a ship in place cannot be seen when it is firmly planted in the deep foundations of the sea floor, and yet it is what holds the ship in place; it secures it. If hope is our anchor then it is also embedded in the unseen, and yet it is what holds us securely in place.

In the book, “Anne of Green Gables,” there is a moment where Anne is in despair and declares that she has no hope, to which her adoptive mother Miranda sternly rebukes her,

“To lose hope is to turn your back on God.”

It sounds harsh and yet how true it is! Every time I’ve ever been tempted to lose hope I remember that quote. Why would I sever my life from the anchor that holds me to His love and His promise to bless and multiply me?

God made this promise to Abraham as well. Abraham was counted as righteous because he had faith in the One who promised to bless him and multiply him.

“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:8-10‬ ‭

Jesus, our Anchor, is the builder and maker—the great architect—of all of the plans and promises over our lives, families, and lands. We can put our hope in the “Author and Finisher” of our hope and faith.

Abraham faced many trials along the journey to his promise and yet, even as he wavered at times, he never lost hope or severed himself from the anchor. God blessed and multiplied him and we are the offspring of Abraham…his promise is an “inheritance promise” to all who have put their hope in God.

You may be facing trials and feel a bit tossed by the waves, but do not lose hope. Do not turn your back on God! You are secured in His love and the promise that He gave to Abraham now belongs to you,

“I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies.”

Your anchor of hope is sure!

It’s Time to Remove the Thief

Kathi Pelton

The enemy comes in many forms to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10) but God comes to give life…abundant life!

One of the main ways that the enemy invades is through the door of the soul (your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions). Recently I saw a vision of Jesus going through rooms and it appeared that he was turning over tables—similar to his action in the temple—but when I looked closer it was thrones that were being turned over to displace those who sat upon these thrones. I asked the Lord,

“What are these thrones that have been occupied by imposters?”

He answered me,

“They are the thrones of the soul. Many of my people have had ‘enemies of the soul’ occupying them. I am displacing these thieves and taking my place upon the throne of their life.”

There are the enemies such as fear, unbelief, vanity, other “gods”, wrong beliefs, pride, and wrong identities that have enthroned themselves in your soul. These enemies are given a place of rulership and control over the soul of the believer as they are listened to.

It is time to allow Jesus to come in a topple them from the thrones of your soul! It is time for Jesus to be given his rightful place upon every part of your life. Your soul will be healed and free to experience abundant life as the enemy is displaced from having rulership over your thoughts, beliefs, and emotions.

Pray this prayer with me,

“Jesus, come and search every part of me. Topple the enemy in every place that he has set up a throne in my soul that robs me of abundant life and keeps you from receiving your rightful place. Right now I declare that the enemies of my soul are displaced and their thrones in my soul are overturned. Fear must go, unbelief must go, pride and vanity must go, victim mentalities must go, other “gods” must go and every thing that has exalted itself above Christ must now go! Jesus, there is to be one throne, and one King upon that throne in my life. I now say, ‘Take your rightful place in my body, soul, and spirit. Be enthroned in my life and establish your kingdom that ushers in abundant life for me.’”

Jesus overturn every throne that is not occupied by you in the lives of your sons and daughters. Go through the rooms of our souls and clean house. It is time and we freely give you permission to make our lives a temple of honor and a house of prayer where you alone are enthroned.
