Give and It Will Be Given To You

Today is #GivingTuesday!

Each day of the year I am seeking the Lord regarding how I can give to my readers…”His sons and daughters!” It is a constant joy to hear His words of love and encouragement for you and to be able to scribe them for you to read. My husband and I love to travel our nation and the nations to reveal His love and to declare His faithfulness to all who have ears to hear.

But today is about giving back. 2019 has been a busy and fruitful year and 2020 is going to exceed our wildest dreams as we transition into all that He is asking of us. These major transitions (which we will announce soon) will require a huge amount of support and resources.

Will you give us your best offering on this day to give back…#GivingTuesday?

Luke 6:38 says,

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.  For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

To the measure that you give, it will be given back to you…to overflowing!

Your Pause Has Purpose

by Kathi Pelton

We are in the midst of a great “crossover” time in the body of Christ. It is a time of great movement and leaving the familiar to enter the land of promise and inheritance.

Yet, for many, their crossover began but then was seemingly “stopped” right as they stepped forward. For my husband and I, we began crossing over and after a couple of steps we heard the words, “Now pause.” This was very confusing but we obeyed. Then the Lord took me to the Book of Joshua where I read this,

“Give this command to the priests who carry the Ark of the Covenant: ‘When you reach the banks of the Jordan River, take a few steps into the river and stop there.’”” Joshua‬ ‭3:8‬ ‭

“TAKE A FEW STEPS AND STOP THERE…pause!” Why the pause or stop? Because God sent the priests in first that carried His presence so that the river would dry up and the rest of the people can cross over first! What if your pause is so that by faith you can stand in the river and watch it part for others to pass through? Your pause and our pause may be to intercede, encourage and carry His presence for others to cross over.

This journey of faith can often cause us only to see our walk and our call but we have been called to make sure that the whole family crosses over and no one is left behind.

If you stepped out in faith to cross into the land of inheritance and after only a couple steps you found that you had to stop then maybe this word is for you and your pause has great purpose upon it! So stand with purpose and stand as one carrying His presence so that the multitudes can cross over ahead of you. Rejoice that you have been called as a priest and take joy that you can be one who is making a way for all to crossover.

“Meanwhile, the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant stood on dry ground in the middle of the riverbed as the people passed by. They waited there until the whole nation of Israel had crossed the Jordan on dry ground.” Joshua‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭

Stand! Hold the ground until all have crossed over.

Release the Sound That Awakens the Dawn of the New Day

by Kathi Pelton

For many months now the Lord has been highlighting roosters to me. Whenever something is highlighted continually before me I make sure to not assume why or what He is speaking to me regarding the object or thing highlighted. So…I’ve been waiting, listening and watching for the revelation that aligns with God’s times and seasons.

This morning as I woke up I saw what was nothing short of an powerful and yet absurd vision. I saw believers across the United States of America standing or perched on the top of roofs, like roosters, and they were crowing loudly and without ceasing for the awakening of the dawn of the new day. They were not announcing the dawn but rather their sound was causing the dawn to awaken!

I somehow understood that the light of the new day was being delayed by a dark force of opposition that kept our nation (and the nations of the world) in the darkest part of the night (it is darkest right before the dawn). The Lord is calling believers across the nation to get upon their “rooftops” and release the sound that will pull in the light of dawn! It is a partnership with Heaven’s armies and the sons and daughters of the Creator of Heaven and Earth. We are to crow, to roar, to sing, to shout and to declare the establishment of the new day.

The enemy is always trying to change God’s appointed times and seasons but we can triumph over his delays by obeying what the Lord is asking us to do. We cannot be found sleeping in the dark of early morning (before the light appears) but we must rouse ourselves awake so that we can “awaken the dawn!” We can break through the delay and darkness to release the sound that brings forth the new day.

There is great power and authority in this sound. Again, it is not merely the announcing of a new day; for that has already been done by the prophet’s voices! This is the sound of God’s people rising up in His authority to break through the delay and establish the light of the new day. It will open the door to the Promised Land by parting the darkness like the Jordan River was parted when the children of Israel passed from the wilderness into Canaan! It is clearing the threshold to be passed over and making a way where there has been no way.

What is the new day? It is another great awakening! Not only for our nation but for the nations of the world! I believe we’ve already passed into the early hours of the new day but the light and dawn has been delayed by the enemy. Many are still found sleeping and unaware that the awakening has begun. It is time for those who are awake to release their sound and command the light of this new day to appear for all to see. It is time to sound the alarm that awakens the sleepers…it’s time to shout it from the rooftops!

“What I tell you now in the darkness, shout abroad when daybreak comes. What I whisper in your ear, shout from the housetops for all to hear!” Matthew‬ ‭10:27‬

Jesus has come to awaken the dead! This will be a great awakening that brings the dead to life, the sick to health, the lost into family and light into darkness. So go to your rooftops and let your voice be heard! Shout it out so all will hear and let your sound break through the delay. The great awakening HAS begun!

The Shout That Releases A Heavenly Rescue Mission

By Kathi Pelton

We truly are in a time of battle against the enemies of God! Or maybe I should say that the enemy is in a battle with those who are lovers of God! But we know that “love wins!”

I woke up with a song lyric going through my mind. Often God will put a song in my spirit to speak to me about what He is doing. This time it was the line from the song, “You Have Won Me” (Brian & Jen Johnson/Bethel Music) that says,

“Shout it out and lift up one voice in worship, sing it out until all the earth can hear it, Jesus is alive and He saves, He rescues and saves!”

There is a battle cry (or shout) to be released! Let’s shout it out as one voice until all the earth can hear it, “Jesus is alive and He saves…He rescues and saves!” The enemy hates truth, hates unity and oneness and hates the sound of salvation. Why? Because it is a frequency that shatters darkness and sets the captives free.

“The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love me. I will protect those who trust in my name.” Psalms‬ ‭91:14‬ ‭

He will rescue and save you! He will rescue and save this generation! His salvation will come like a flood in response to our battle cry because it carries “salvations sound!”

I see in the days ahead stadiums full of desperate and passionate people shouting out, “Jesus is alive and He saves, He rescues and saves!” Their sound will not be contained within the stadium walls but it will fill the atmosphere of cities and regions with the song of salvation that sets slaves free! It will release a rescue mission to a generation!

I see mom’s on their bedroom floor shouting out the same words over their prodigal children and in response Jesus releases a rescue mission to leave the ninety-nine to save the one.

I see nations shouting these words over the unborn and a mighty rescue mission to save the babies in the womb! The sound with bring triumph over death.

Shout it out!! It’s time! It’s the sound of salvation and the sound that signals a rescue mission to loose the captives and to shatter the darkness…even the darkness that has opposed you, oppressed you and tried to shut your mouth. It’s time to shout! Jesus is alive and He saves, He rescues and saves!

Tent or Tabernacle?

by Kathi Pelton

Over the past three days we hosted a 50-hour worship tent in Portland, Oregon for the Awaken the Dawn movement (#tentamerica). When we were asked about sharing testimonies that came forth from our tent I began to ponder what I wanted to share. Although we have testimonies of healings and people experiencing deep touches of God’s love and presence; the true testimony for me was the tent itself. It’s three days standing has become a picture that is forever etched upon my heart.

Our tent was donated by a local church that owned an inexpensive “summer tent.” Purchased for under $100, they were perfect for a warm day event but not for a three day heavy storm. It did have “flaps” that acted as walls, yet they were little more then thin plastic tarps with clear faux windows (and small Velcro strips to hold them in place). The instructions enclosed with the tent clearly stated that it was not meant to remain up overnight and should NOT BE USED in wind or rain.

The weather forecast for our three day (50-hour) event revealed large storms approaching. Our venue was at a high place in our city so the wind is known to be much worse in that location. But, “in faith” we raised our flimsy tent and prayed for God to keep it standing.

The night before we were to start our 50 hours of worship I had a pretty sleepless night as I heard the rain beginning to pour and the wind blowing outside. I thought about how I was about to put thousands of dollars worth of sound equipment and musical instruments (that I didn’t own) into a tent that specifically says, “Do not use in wind or rain.”

The next morning, as we arrived at our tent to set up the sound equipment, I found a completely drenched tent that had taken a hard beating the night before from the harsh weather. My main concern was the sound equipment and the safety of the people who would be coming to worship.

As our team unloaded the equipment we decided to put two heavy duty pop up canopies over our stage area to protect it in case the tent failed; so we had “tents within tents.” We knew that nothing would keep the rain from coming in from the ground so we made sure that all electrical supplies were above the ground so that we would not electrocute our musicians! Then we took zip ties and reinforced the thin walls. Lastly, we used waterproof tape to seal any openings where water was leaking through.

After getting all of the sound equipment, instruments, chairs, lighting, tables, and decorations (even rugs) set up we were ready to go! It looked amazing and so inviting. The excitement was building but so were the black clouds outside. People arrived and our first worship team was about to start up when “boom!”…five minutes before it began all the electricity short circuited leaving us in the dark. As everything turned dark a torrential downpour began that was accompanied by huge gusts of wind. Our faithful worship leaders pulled out an acoustic guitar and began to sing in the dark. Our small team rushed around in the dark and rain trying to figure out how to get our power back on. Some of us searched for circuit boxes, some held the poles to the tent to keep the winds from giving us a “Wizard of Oz” moment, some worked in the dark to seal more leaks. All the while I prayed my heart out for supernatural help! But the worship went on! After about forty minutes of this we suddenly had power again. Our faithful team was soaked to the bone but they went right back into worshipping the One who is worthy of our offering.

Worship was continually beautiful but through each set our tent was taking a beating that surely should have destroyed it within the first hour. The heavy rain poured upon it and the winds whipped it like a kite in the wind and yet it stood!

Due to the harsh weather and need for “all hands on deck” our little team spent the 50 hours onsite more than taking breaks to get much needed rest. We were compelled to protect the sound going forth! Prior to the event the Lord kept saying to me, “Protect the sound.” I didn’t fully realize what He had meant until all of these things began to happen. We would protect the sound through prayer and remaining present!

Hour after hour the most amazing sounds of worship intermingled with the sound of the abundance of rain came forth. And hour after hour this flimsy summer tent stood like a lighthouse in the storm.

It was as if the harder the hits came against this tent the more resilient and steady it became. This cheap tent became a priceless, supernatural sign and wonder to all who came in. As it endured the storms it gained “character” and to us was no longer a cheap, plastic tent but now a true tabernacle of praise. I thought of the words from Romans 5:4-6,

“…endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope. This hope will not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”

By the time we reached the half way mark, our tent had proven its ability to withstand the worst of storms and our confidence and hope grew! It was not going to disappoint us because the love of God was being poured out in it!

As I watched this tent, it became a picture of the Christian life. Storms come upon us that reveal the weak areas that need the strength and love of God. We endure storms that “should” take us down but as we remain in Him we are held up and our character is built. Then hope is produced and that hope does not fail or disappoint us! It is a hope given to us by the Spirit of God. The same Spirit that helps us to endure storms and grow in the hope of Christ was holding up our tent. In our weakness His strength is made manifest just like in the weakness of our physical tent His strength was being made manifest as we put our hope in Him.

What began as a cheap tent became a castle! It stood like His constant faithfulness that is sure and unshakable. So, yes…tents saw healings, experienced deep worship, made proclamation, experienced unity, saw orphans put in family and homeless sheltered…but what happened with our tent will forever impact me.

Our tent became a testimony of how He takes the foolish things of the world to confound the wise and how He takes our weaknesses and in that place causes His strength and faithfulness manifest for all to see!

So. now I am happy to boast in our weak tent because it revealed the strength of our God! He turns paupers into princes, orphans into sons and daughters and plastic tents into tabernacles of praise.

The YES Explosion! A Divine Encounter

by Kathi Pelton

As I have been traveling the past number of months I noticed that almost everywhere I’ve gone something particular would happen during worship. In each place the song of the Lord would come upon the worship team and an amazingly pure sound would be released that always had the words, “We say yes!” within it.

During one of these times of worship in Bend, Oregon this past June, the song of the Lord with the words “We say yes” once again began to pour out. It was such a pure and deep sound from the Bride to her Bridegroom.

Yet, this time as the words were being sung I was suddenly taken into an spiritual encounter. I found myself looking upon the scene at Calvary as Jesus was being laid upon the cross.

The soldiers took the nails and as they hammered each nail through our Lord’s hands and feet, He would let out a deep and loud cry but what I heard in the cry was the word, “YES!” It was Jesus’ “yes” to His Father and to His bride as He yielded to giving His life for the ones that He so greatly loved. With each pound the hammer upon the nails that pierced through Him, another shout and cry of “YES” would be released. It was the sound of agape love that gives up all for the ones who are loved. “Yes, My Bride, I give My all for you.” It was the most agonizing and yet beautiful sound I have ever heard.

Then I saw the “Yes” of our Savior and Bridegroom go forth through time and it intercepted with the “Yes” of the bride that was pouring out in this hour from His bride. As the “Yes” of the Bride and the “Yes” of the Bridegroom intersected (like the past and present coming together in a divine collision) they released what looked like a sonic boom that went out across the world.

Suddenly I saw what appeared to be millions of men, women and children across the world drop to their knees and surrender their lives to Jesus. They all began to cry out, “Yes” in surrender to our Savior. No one said a word to them but the “combustion” of the “Yes” of the bride and her Bridegroom had released a spirit of revelation over the earth.

I found myself saying, “Lord, did millions of people just come to know you by a sovereign revelation that this was released?”

His response was,

“No, Kathi. It was billions!”

There is a deep, pure and fully surrendered yielding that is building within the hearts of His bride at this time that cries out, “Yes! Take all of me. I give my all for the One my heart loves.” This sound of surrender will collide with the sound of surrender that our Savior cried out when He gave His all for His bride.

It two sounds of surrender release the invitation and words found in Revelation 22:17,

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

We cry out “Yes!” Worthy is the Lamb to receive all honor, glory and dominion! Hold nothing back. Billions around the world are waiting for the revelation of what they long and are thirsting for. Do not hold anything back, for His “Yes” and our “Yes” are about to send forth a sonic boom that carries the revelation of Jesus throughout the earth.

Watchdogs or Watchmen?

by Kathi Pelton

Recently I had begun noticing people in the body of Christ that had taken on a posture that has the tendency to be “fiercely on guard” and somewhat “territorial” in nature. They are continually looking for an intruder or a breach to come into the atmosphere or room. I know that there are certain people that God has “wired” to guard and protect but I what I saw were people becoming more acquainted with the presence of darkness then the ability to release the light that dispels darkness.

A watchdog is always on guard! It is trained to ward off and attack any intruder that breaches the place or person that it has been stationed to guard. Again, this is not a negative thing but the Spirit of the Lord began speaking to me about the difference between a watchdog spirit and the spirit of a watchman.

A watchman sits in a high place to observe from the “above” advantage. They see the whole picture, the whole city and signal a corporate people regarding what needs to happen. A watchdog views what is in front of him, what doesn’t smell right and then goes after the threat one on one to defend its territory. Unfortunately, not seeing the whole picture has created victims with bite wounds that could have been avoided if the perspective was viewed from above.

Often this kind of “watchdog” mentality in the church has often missed the mark. It’s created suspicion, an attack mode, a defensive posture and a focus on intruders. Often it merely focuses on getting rid of the threat. But a watchmen is set above to see what God is doing! Though they will see the enemy but they will also see the Captain of the Lord of Hosts and His great army. The watchmen will see what both are doing and how they are to move and align God’s people to be in unity with the army of light. They are those who dispel darkness rather than wrestles darkness in a one on one territorial battle.

Recently a friend had a dream where she was in her house trying to sleep and her dog was near her front door. She looked and realized that the door was open and that there could be an intruder in the house. But her dog didn’t bark or rouse from his place of rest. She was confused at why he was sleeping while the door was ajar and the presence of something dark could be nearby. When she awoke she immediately remembered the story in Matthew 8:23-27 when Jesus slept on the boat during the storm that caused his disciples to believe that their lives were threatened. The Lord spoke to her and reminded her that we must learn to rest in the presence of darkness in the days ahead. Sometime rest is the weapon of warfare.

This dream reminded me of the time (many years ago) when the Lord asked me a very specific question. The question was,

“Kathi, what would you say that the main source of the warfare is in your life?”

I have since that time learned that often when God asks you a question, rarely is He looking for you to answer it but is merely getting your attention to listen for His answer. After hours of pondering and attempts at answers (which received no response), I finally realized that I was to answer the question with a question,

“Lord, what is the main source of the warfare in my life?”

He answered immediately by saying,

“Daughter, it is lack of peace. If you had My peace in every situation in your life you would not have warfare. There is no warfare where there is peace.”

From that day on I began a journey to see the peace of God established in my everyday life (this journey was the source of my book, 30 Days to Breakthrough: Stepping Into Peace). As the peace of God became a constant presence in my life, rest was added to my soul. I use to deal with insomnia due to stress, worry and fear but now I have been able to sleep in the storm.

This rest took me from the posture of being a watchdog to being a watchman that can see from above and know when I need to move and when I need to “sleep in the storm.” Yet, even when I move or need to “sound an alarm” it is not from a place of “fierce attack mode” but from intentional trust and alignment with what God is doing. It is from a place of releasing light rather than wrestling darkness.

One more example happened just this week. Our church has a weekly prayer team that walks the streets of Portland to “prayer walk” the city. We have a few very discerning people who faithfully walk with our team. They are the type who can see where the enemy is and what he is doing. This week we were preparing to do a worship night in downtown Portland when one of these “discerning the darkness” people went out to prayer walk where we’d be having our worship night. Within two minutes of leaving the building he returned. He walked straight up to me and said, “As soon as I left the building the Lord asked me what I was doing. I realized that I had gone to see what the enemy was up to but the Lord wanted me to see what He was doing and told me to go back to where the worship was happening and focus on His presence.” That night we had the most profound worship we’d ever had without any battle to break through darkness. As each one focused on Him and what He was doing it brought in light that pushed back the darkness. We became watchmen rather than watchdogs. We aligned with Heaven and became soldiers of light.

God is calling for His watchmen to arise. To move and live according to the light and movement of heaven. This movement may “at times” look like sleeping in a storm because sometimes the enemy is stirring up a storm to exhaust us, engage us in a unnecessary battle and to create fear. We need to discern the light so that we can release the light that breaks the power of darkness.

Now, please know that I am well versed in the scriptures regarding “watchmen” such as Isaiah 62:6

“On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have set watchmen; all the day and all the night they shall never be silent. You who put the Lord in remembrance, take no rest…”

There are many scriptures that call us to be alert, awake and to “sound the alarm” but the shift is that we can do that from His peace and spiritual rest rather than from reaction and fear. We can warn a brother, call a city to alert or sound an alarm from a place that does not create chaos but rather brings the army of God into divine order and alignment with the strategies of Heaven. His watchmen bring a oneness and unification of the angel armies and God’s army on earth. It discerns what the Father is doing and aligns us with the movement of heaven rather than the reactions of earth.

God is balancing and aligning His sons and daughters to respond to the wisdom from above so that the activities of earth do not have us in reactive chaos. This is the offensive posture that ushers in victory so that we are not beating at the wind and waves. Peace be still is our sound!

The Narrow Gate That Leads To Broad Breakthrough

by Kathi Pelton

This may be the most important revelation I personally have ever received; it is deep and yet simple, profound and yet understandable, impossible and yet so obtainable.

It began this past week while I was part of an intervention for someone who had fallen into deep occult practices, all the while believing, and insisting, that their activities were “all God.” While I met with this person they told me that they had found the “broad way” that was so beautiful and inclusive of many dimensions and spiritual experiences. As these words came into my ears, immediately my spirit rose up and I said,

“No my friend, the way to God is through the narrow gate and few find it! It will lead you into the greatest beauty that you will ever experience and that beauty will be unlimited and wide, but never forget that the gate and path is narrow.”

As the words sprang from my lips it became like a weighty conviction upon me that has not lifted.

Then, this past weekend our church had our monthly, “Encounter Sunday” where we give the whole Sunday to spontaneous corporate words and worship. From nearly the moment we began the service, the weight of glory filled the room in a way that took me to my knees. Deep intercession filled my spirit, and I was acutely aware that the Spirit of the Lord, along with a great angelic presence, was in the room.

As we corporately released the sound of worship and cries of intercession, and allowed the prophetic voices to speak, an individual came forward and began talking about “the narrow way.” Had I not already been kneeling, I might have fallen down because the reality of the narrow way had been resting upon me for days.

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

As our church family continued to press into the word about the narrow way, I was taken into a profound encounter.

Psalm 91 and The Narrow Way

In this encounter I was taken into a deep and narrow ravine, but within this place was a beam of intense light, rather than the darkness one would expect in such a location. Outside the ravine was a great, open expanse completely shrouded in darkness—in great contrast to the brilliance I was experiencing. I realized that I was in the “cleft of the rock” spoken of in Exodus 33:22. Then the Spirit of the Lord said to me,

“Daughter, the narrow path is the place of your Psalm 91 promise. It is also the place where you will see my glory and still live. The enemy cannot enter this ravine—the cleft—as the light is too bright. I AM the narrow gate to enter this place. You are hidden in this place and as you abide here I will reveal mysteries, strategies, and my glory.”

Then I saw eagles, birthed and trained in this narrow place, that would receive great light, understand mysteries, and receive strategic assignments to fly from the ravine into the darkness of the broad way, commissioned to bring the light they carried that dispels darkness. In doing this they were protected, because they were hidden by the light.

Hidden by light! This was a foreign concept to me, as I know that usually things are hidden in a dark, unseen place. But in this encounter, the brightness of the light was the hiding place, and the eagles that soared into the darkness were hidden by this great light that blinded the enemy.

The narrow place is not always an easy place, which is why “few find it”; it is for the remnant that will daily die to self so that Christ may live in them. It is the place of uncompromising covenant, which can only be kept by dependency on grace, rest, and trust in the “One who is able to keep us from falling.”

Could the narrow path also be the “refuge and shelter” that we read of in Psalm 91?

If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go. They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!” Psalms‬ ‭91:9-13‬ ‭

Could the narrow path also be the cleft of the rock that Moses was hidden in?

“When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by.” Exodus 33:22

Could the narrow path also be the “courtyard” where mysteries are revealed?

“While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, the Lord gave him this second message: “This is what the Lord says—the Lord who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the Lord: Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” Jeremiah‬ ‭33:1-3‬

Could it be that the narrow path is like a greenhouse for spiritual fruit?

“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me.” John15:4

This narrow path is where we encounter our plumb line, our alignment with the oneness of God (John 17:21-23). It is the place we are to live in and move from. It is our refuge because it is Him!

Jesus lived His life on earth on the narrow path and within the refuge of His Father’s love, light, and movements. We must allow our lives to be aligned the same way, live as Jesus lived, and walk the path that He walked. Here is a perfect “alignment verse” found in 1 John 2:3,4,5,6,

“And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth. But those who obey God’s word truly show how completely they love him. That is how we know we are living in him. Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.”

Jesus is the narrow gate, that leads to the narrow path, that ushers us into the great and wide promises of abundant life!

God is leading us as a family and ministry into an even greater walk of faith than we have known through a greater assignment. Though we cannot share all of the details yet, we will do so soon. Let The Light In! Darkness Will Be Dispelled!

by Kathi Pelton

After nearly two months of constant travel my husband and I came home and immediately were faced with a very dark situation that a precious friend is facing. As we have been navigating our way through this grievous situation that is affecting so many, I could find myself becoming “distracted by the darkness.”

Last night as we prayed as a family for all involved I suddenly heard, “Be still and know that I am God.” In that moment I knew that we had done all that we could do and now it was time to stand and be still in the confident trust of the Lord. In our quiet surrender we felt peace and release come upon us. We had wept, interceded, reached out, ministered to those affected and now it was time to release it into the hands of the One whose name is Victory! We entered into the stillness of absolute trust and dependency.

Then I heard His voice invite me into His light. I saw a picture of me coming out from beneath a dark cloud into the unfiltered brightness and warmth of His light. Suddenly I felt the warmth of His light and love fill me and overcome the darkness that had loomed over the situation we’d been dealing with.

Yes, in this world there is so much darkness but there is a light that dispels all darkness. He is the Light of the World, the hope of all mankind, the peace that surpasses understanding and the One whose blood has paid the price for all sin and darkness. He is Jesus.

“Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”” John‬ ‭8:12‬ ‭

If you are facing darkness or if darkness has come to cloud your view; move into the Light! He is always there to remind you that the victory has already been purchased and assured to all those who will put their trust in Him. He is inviting you to come and soak in the Son. Let the light, warmth and love permeate your soul. Don’t stay in the shadows of darkness but come and let His light move you into hope and the absolute confidence of trust. He is saying to you too, “Be still and know that I am God.”

I hear this over individuals and I hear this over nations. Hong Kong…You are not alone and He will be exulted in the nations! Let His light fill you with hope and a new song; a song of deliverance. Let the sound of His faithfulness be heard throughout the nations.

Come and bask in the light of His love and grace. Come into the stillness of His agape love and confident hope. Cease striving and know that He is God!

Pelton Ministry Tour

Today we are headed home from British Columbia, Canada as we complete the last leg of our North America tour.

After two months, two countries, twelve states/provinces in both the east and west; our hearts are full and our bodies tired. We saw God move all along the way. From national gatherings to one on one encounters where God left the ninety-nine to find the one; in it all His love overwhelmed us and the beauty of His family caused us to feel at home no matter where we laid our heads.

We just completed a week in British Columbia where there was such a lovely exchange of ministry to and from us and the family of God there. We gave but we also received so much.

So what is next? We will hit the ground at home running with Tent America 2019 quickly approaching. We will be hosting 50 hours of worship under a tent during the Feast of Tabernacles in Portland, Oregon. We will also have a Pre-Rally on September 21st where we will share the vision and host five hours of worship. If you are interested in hosting a tent in your city as thousands join together to cover our nation with a love song to Jesus, go to: www.awakenthedawn.org

We are making plans to go back to Canada in October for a regional gathering in Prince George, BC…and then…WE ARE GOING TO SINGAPORE!

We were recently invited to be a part of a gathering of global leaders that represent different nations and generations to pray together and discern what God is doing in 2020 throughout the world. We feel that the Lord is asking us to be a part of this time in mid-November.

Thank you to all of our faithful friends and supporters who prayed for us and sowed into our trip with financial support. The Bible says that the reward is the same to the one who goes and the one who stays. Your prayers and support made you a part of our journey and the fruit that came from it.

Now we are beginning a “Send Us To Singapore” fundraiser. This trip will cost over $4000. We will make the fundraising goal $4444 and call it the 4444 Campaign. If you would like to sow into sending us to Singapore, click here and press the donate button on our home page at https://www.inscribeministries.com/Add a note to your gift that says: 4444 Campaign.
