For many days now I have been hearing the word, “Echo.” Of a matter of fact I hear it and see it so often that it has now become like an echo in my ears. When I hear a word that repetitively I must stop and ask the Lord, “What are you saying?” So I did.
As I waited upon the Lord I was first led to look up the meaning of the word.
Echo: a repetition of sound produced by the reflection of sound waves from a wall, mountain, or other obstructing surface. a sound heard again near its source after being reflected.
When sound hits a hard surface or obstruction an echo is created as the sound waves bounce back near the source— we truly seem to have hit a mountain or obstruction globally and it is causing a great echo.
As I prayed I was taken to Hebrews 11 and heard the words,
“The echo of faith from the saints of old, who believed in Yahweh, has joined with the faith of those who believe today. The sound of old and sound of the new has become one clear echo which is a battering ram against the opposition that seeks to kill, steal and destroy. Mountains will come down!”
Hear are some of the words from Hebrews 11,
“All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth.” Hebrews 11:13
The great cloud of witnesses are watching the faith that they stood in long ago and the faith that we stand in converge as a sound that will echo through the earth today and through eternity. The intermingling of their faith and our faith is creating a frequency of sound that will break the barriers! It is the sound of those who stood in faith, walked by faith, persevered in faith and by faith took down mountains!
Let faith arise in this hour! Let it arise like never before. Grab hold of the same faith that Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob lived and died in! Let it become intermingled with your faith and the sound of your “yes.” Break the sound barrier of accusation and opposition and may the echo bring the fortified wall tumbling down as in the days of Jericho.
Pray, worship, prophesy, declare His Word aloud and let your feet go forth in faith! Release the sound of faith!
There will be another sound that echoes through the land and that is the sound of the enemy armies crying out in distress,
“The nations will hear of your devastating defeat. your cries of distress will echo throughout the earth. In the panic of their flight one soldier will trip over another and both of them will fall down defeated.” Jeremiah 46:12
Jesus already secured our victory! We know the end of the story and though we see the nations raging and darkness is seen on the earth— the faith of the saints of old and the faith that you live by will echo throughout eternity and will be a battering ram against the armies of darkness. His defeat is as sure as your victory.
Stir up faith. Don’t hide, don’t back down and don’t be found silent. Let the sound of the men and women of faith be heard throughout the earth!
For the first time since quarantine began we have hit some opposition in the area of finances. We need those who will stand with us in prayer and financial support as we move forward in faith. If you would like to sow financially into our ministry and lives go to: https://www.inscribeministries.com/
Thank you for standing with us! We pray for our supporters every day!
For the past several weeks I have been hearing this phrase in my spirit,
“Gideon’s remnant army is arising!”
In Judges 7 we read the story of Gideon’s army. The backdrop to this story is that the Israelites had done evil in the sight of the Lord so they had been handed over to the Midianites for seven years. The Midianites were extremely cruel and oppressed the Israelites so severely that they had taken to hiding in mountains and caves. The Lord summoned Gideon to call forth warriors to face the Midianites. As they prepared to fight them this is what the Lord said,
“You have too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength.” Judges 7:2
God was not only dealing with the Midianites that had oppressed the Israelites but He was also dealing with the false gods and worship of Baal that had been taking place within the Israelites. God was about to show that He alone is the deliverer and it is His power that sets the captives free.
Before we return to the story of Gideon’s army— is this story beginning to sound like a picture of what we are facing? A nation that has gone from “In God We Trust” to calling darkness “light” and evil “good.” Our nation flies rainbow flags that represent our turning to depravation and deception with great pride while they burn our own flag that once represented freedom and a nation that humbled themselves to trust in God. Cruelty and oppression is seen throughout our land against God’s people. We are censored and many are hiding in caves.
Back to the story—
After God reduced Gideon’s army to a mere 300 men (to face a vast and mighty Midianite force), He instructs them to go to their camp in the middle of the night only armed with clay pots that hide the light of their “blazing” torches and ram horns. These are not exactly the weapons of warfare we’d expect or the number of men needed to be victorious. God had reduced Gideon’s army from approximately 32,000 to a mere 300 men while the Midianite army was so vast that they were like the sands of the seashore— to many to count!
The Lord told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.” Judges 7:7
Here is what happens next,
“Gideon divided the 300 men into three groups and gave each man a ram’s horn and a clay jar with a torch in it. Then he said to them, “Keep your eyes on me. When I come to the edge of the camp, do just as I do. As soon as I and those with me blow the rams’ horns, blow your horns, too, all around the entire camp, and shout, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon!’”” Judges 7:16-18
Gideon and his group of 100 men went out first to the edge of the Midianite’s camp and they blew their ram’s horns and broke their clay jars revealing the light of their torches. This signaled the two other groups of 100 men to follow.
“Then all three groups blew their horns and broke their jars. They held the blazing torches in their left hands and the horns in their right hands, and they all shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” Each man stood at his position around the camp and watched as all the Midianites rushed around in a panic, shouting as they ran to escape. When the 300 Israelites blew their rams’ horns, the Lord caused the warriors in the camp to fight against each other with their swords. Those who were not killed fled to places as far away as Beth-shittah near Zererah and to the border of Abel-meholah near Tabbath.” Judges 7:20-22
I believe that this story is a picture of what God will do in this hour. It appears as if the body of Christ is facing an enemy army that is so vast that they cannot be numbered. It also seems as though there is a mere remnant that has not departed in fear. What is left is but a “remnant.” Our weapons are absolute foolishness in the eyes of men but God will give us victory in the darkness of night with the blazing torch of Christ and the sound of the shofar and our shout, “For the Lord and for His Bride!”
The modern day Midianites will turn on themselves in fear and God will give a victory that no man can take credit for! It will not be by the strength of men but by the power of God!
It is interesting that every time I see the word “Midianite” the word, “Mediaites” replaces it. The media has become a vast army that oppresses God’s people. They lie, deceive and create a false narratives that controls the listeners. But watch as God gives victory over the “Media-ites!”
Our numbers do not matter! We may appear outnumbered but God and His heavenly hosts are with us. I hear the words from 2 Kings 6:16 declared over us,
“Don’t be afraid,” the prophet answered. “Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
We carry the blazing torch of truth and light in our left hand and the horn that sounds the declaration of “Yahweh!” in our right hand. The time is approaching where the clay jars will break and the torch will blaze for all to see. The time is coming for the sound of the ram’s horn and the shout of the remnant army to come forth that will grip the enemy’s camp with such fear that victory will come without ever entering into the battle.
There is a Civil War happening in the streets of America. It is the mobs against the cops, blue against red, law against lawlessness— but it is the remnant army that will receive the victory! Our voice will be heard and it will strike fear into the hearts of the wicked. The oppressor will not prevail and tyranny will not triumph! Gideon’s army will once again emerge with victory.
If you would prayerfully consider supporting our ministry with a financial gift during this time of global crisis— it would be greatly appreciated. We pray daily for all of our supporters!
As I woke up this morning and began to wait upon the Lord it was like an audible song began to play in the atmosphere around me (although no music was actually playing). I immediately recognized the words to the song, “All Who Are Thirsty”— here are the words that I was hearing,
All who are thirsty All who are weak Come to the fountain Dip your heart in the stream of life Let the pain and the sorrow Be washed away In the waves of His mercy As deep cries out to deep (we sing) Come Lord Jesus come
As these words flowed like a stream of refreshing water through my soul I clicked on Facebook and the first post to show was from a precious prophetic friend who wrote a post about rest and concluded with this scripture,
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”” Matthew 11:28-30
Throughout the time of quarantine and even through the past weeks of great unrest in our nation I have felt constant strength and grace to run the race and press into all that the Lord was asking and doing. I have had a tremendous grace upon my life throughout this ever-changing season. But about two weeks ago a weariness began to hit my soul. Because we live in the Washington DC region I wondered if it was just the spiritual atmosphere from so much continuous warfare over our nation or if it was something personal? Either way— I was weary!
I decided to press and stand against the weariness and yet the more the more weary I became. It was as if burdens too heavy to carry would come upon me and they would weary me even more. Then I watched it hitting others around me…such a deep, heavy weariness!
Then, last night we had some new friends over to our home and during our time together our gentleman guest began to minister to our daughter regarding the subject of weariness. He told her a story about surfing and learning to rest after the long, hard paddle out to where the waves are good. He said that he had to learn to rest after the exhausting paddle because if he tried to catch a wave while weary from the trek to deeper waters then the wave would end up taking him under. But— when he’d take the time to rest— when it was time to catch the wave he would be able to ride it all the way back to shore with ease. As he spoke these words a vibrant double rainbow appeared over our home and remained for a long time. As I looked upon this rainbow and thought about the rest he was speaking of, I heard the Lord say,
“I promise not to overwhelm you or flood you with that which will take you under. Rest in me and ride the waves of mercy to my shores of grace and victory.”
Many of you have had a long journey of “swimming and paddling hard!” Your strength is depleted and you need to take time to rest. You are now positioned to catch the wave that will take you higher and further then you have ever known but first you must rest. You are being invited into Matthew 11,
“Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
He will take the burdens that are too heavy for you to carry and he will teach you to rest and to come to him where his gentleness will comfort and soothe your weary and storm tossed soul. It is there that you will receive the light yoke that will allow you to ride the wave of mercy that you are about to catch.
The battle belongs to the Lord! Yes, you have a part in the battle but if you do not stop to rest (and release the heavy burdens) then you will be taken under by the wave that is coming. Rest will enable you to ride it and not be swallowed by the force of it. The wave will either take you higher or take you under but the key is resting in Him and allowing heavy burdens to be removed from your shoulders. This wave is to bring His people higher while drowning the enemy who does not know how to rest.
If you are thirsty, weak and weary then rest at His table— eat the riches of all that He has set before you and be strengthened. Let His wisdom and thoughts become yours.
““Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food. “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David. See how I used him to display my power among the peoples. I made him a leader among the nations. You also will command nations you do not know, and peoples unknown to you will come running to obey, because I, the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, have made you glorious.”” Isaiah 55:1-5
Isaiah 55 then goes on to say this,
““My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:8-9
Often we think that when the battle is raging we must jump in with all of our strength to defeat the great enemy before us. But we must remember that God’s ways are not our ways and there are times that the greatest weapon in the fight before us are the weapon of rest and trust, dependency and stillness, hope and faith.
During this time don’t forget how God used Gideon’s army! God reduced their numbers so low that it appeared to be a sure defeat against such a vast and mighty enemy. Then God had them put torches in jars and carry ram’s horns (trumpets) as their only weapons as they descended upon the enemy’s camp while it was still dark. Then they broke the clay jars to reveal their torches of light and blew they the ram’s horns. The enemy was so surprised that they turned on themselves in the chaos and Gideon’s army watched as they were defeated by their own hand.
“It was just after midnight, after the changing of the guard, when Gideon and the 100 men with him reached the edge of the Midianite camp. Suddenly, they blew the rams’ horns and broke their clay jars. Then all three groups blew their horns and broke their jars. Those who were not killed fled to places as far away as Beth-shittah near Zererah and to the border of Abel-meholah near Tabbath.” Judges 7:19-22
Three hundred men who obeyed God’s ways with weapons of light and sound defeated a vast army that processed weapons that could have defeated an army of thousands. The battle and the wisdom belongs to the Lord! His ways are higher.
So…rest, wait, eat, drink and listen. Let go of the burden as you look upon an enemy that is too big for you. God reduced Gideon’s army from thousands to a few hundred so that no man could boast that it was by their power or strength that defeated the enemy army…but by God alone!
“This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty Zechariah 4:6
A great wave of mercy is approaching and it will bury the but you must rest so that you can ride the wave and not be taken under by it. His ways are not our ways and His weapons are not the weapons of man. You may feel that your light is in a jar (hidden) and your sound is not being heard at this time— but the time is coming where the jars will break and the sound of the shofars are blown! Rest and wait— the time of deliverance is coming. A wave of mercy is coming that will defeat the enemy that has come against God’s people!
“Come to the fountain Dip your heart in the stream of life Let the pain and the sorrow Be washed away In the waves of His mercy As deep cries out to deep Come Lord Jesus come”
Thank you to all of my readers who have been praying for me and supporting our ministry during 2020. We pray for you daily and declare blessings of multiplication and peace over you and your household.
When the global quarantine began in March I was taken into a powerful encounter with the Lord. In this encounter I saw the Lord knock on the heart of His bride’s heart. She quickly and readily responded and opened the door for Him to come in— but He could not enter because her heart was too crowded. It was filled with so many things; even spiritual things (teachings, methods for ministry, etc.). Her heart was so full of thing about the Lord that there was no room for the Lord. He then asked her if He could clean out the clutter in her heart so that He can come in and reside. She responded with a “yes.” As I watched this process I was surprised because He emptied her heart of everything— until there was nothing left but room for Him. Then he brought in a small wooden table and two chairs. He proceeded to set a loaf of bread and a glass of wine upon that table. Then He sat down in one of the chairs and said to His bride, “This is all you need. Come sit at the table with me and dine upon the finished work of the cross.”
For many weeks I did just that. I sat with Him, took communion and feasted upon the intimacy and simplicity that was at this table. It was everything to me and everything I needed— His tangible presence, the constant reminder of the grace provided by the cross and a space made to breathe Him in.
Then, as the time of Pentecost came and went I began to add things to my schedule again. Then as unrest hit our nation like a shocking flood of trauma, I gradually began to focus on the solution and how to respond to help others and heal our land. Though these are not bad things and though I was spending a lot of time with the Lord, I had left the table that He set up in my heart and was running through the streets looking for Him.
Today, the Lord stopped me and gently whispered to me, “Beloved, return to the table that I set up in your heart.” Come as you are, dine with Me for I am all that you need.”
Suddenly, breath filled my spirit and I felt a clean, white garment placed upon me. I knew that the table is where I will receive all that I need in the days ahead. This is where my cup will overflow with all that I need and desire will be fulfilled. This is where I will breathe in the breath of His life to refresh my soul. I will eat and be satisfied by His goodness and mercy. I will receive wisdom for the day and be baptized in the flood of His love. This is both a bridal chamber and a war room— for oneness is produced here and mysteries are revealed here. I will begin and end each day here to once again. When and where He goes, I will go but my spirit will remain at the table.
God is calling us back to the table set for two. In the midst of our enemies— He sets a table and invites us to sit with Him and dine with Him.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil; My cup overflows.” Psalm 23:5
We must begin in this place and even as we go out— our spirits must remain at His table. It is here that we receive His blood, His body, His breath, His fragrance and the light, clean garment that refresh us and clothes us in His strength.
Let His love fill your cup and then drink deep. Feast upon the fullness of “Christ in you” and listen to His voice— His whisper is revelation and wisdom.
It’s time to come back to the table!
Thank you to all my readers who have stood with us in prayer and financial support during this year. There are no adequate words to express my deep gratitude. Please know that my husband and I pray for each of you continuously— for grace, peace, restoration and multiplication to overflow upon you.
Every Sunday evening I have a prayer call with a group of people from the Washington DC region to pray for our nation, our leaders and whatever the Spirit speaks to us as we wait upon Him. Last night we had a powerful time of prayer in the midst of all of the pain and rage happening throughout our nation.
During our time praying the Spirit kept turning my attention to the cities that have been targeted for violent riots and destruction. First I was led to begin to declare a new name over these cities (and over our nation) as the verse from Isaiah 62:2-4 flowed through my spirit,
The nations will see your righteousness. World leaders will be blinded by your glory. And you will be given a new name by the Lord’s own mouth. The Lord will hold you in his hand for all to see— a splendid crown in the hand of God. Never again will you be called “The Forsaken City” or “The Desolate Land.” Your new name will be “The City of God’s Delight” and “The Bride of God,” for the Lord delights in you and will claim you as his bride.” The Lord asked me to begin to declare over our nation and over these cities— where violence has erupted— that the Lord will change their name from “Forsaken” or “Desolate” to “The Cities of God’s Delight.”
Then I was taken into a vision where these cities were pools of stagnant water with the blind, deaf and lame (spiritually disabled) laying all around them. But suddenly angels descended upon these cities and began to “stir the waters” and when they did this the people, who had gathered there with many “spiritual diseases” began to see, hear and rise up and walk. They could see that Jesus is the only Savior, they could hear that He is the hope that they had been looking for and suddenly they could rise up from their lame posture and run to Him.
“…for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.” John 5:4
The diseases of deception; hopelessness, rage, murder, anarchy and rebellion were suddenly healed and captives were being set free.
It is time to stand in the cities where violent riots have broken out and call forth the angels to come and stir the stagnant waters so that they become healing pools. It is time to declare over our nation and these cities their new name, “Cities of God’s Delight!”
May the very ones who go to these cities to bring destruction and hate suddenly find their feet in a pool that heals them and sets them free from the disease of deception. May they encounter the living God and become repairers of the breaches.
Minneapolis, Washington D.C., Seattle, Atlanta, Dallas, Miami, Nashville, Los Angeles, New York, Salt Lake City, Cleveland, Raleigh, Louisville and more— call upon the angel of their Lord to come and stir the waters of your city and make it a pool of healing. Declare that their names, “Forsaken and Desolate” are no more but that God calls them by a new name! Declare the new name over your city.
What the enemy has meant for evil God will turn for good and for healing. Do not despair, do not bow low in hopelessness but rise up and see the salvation of the Lord come to our nation and to these cities!
Thank you to all of my readers who have stood with us in prayer and financial support during these months where we cannot travel. Because of you we are able to continue to minister and help thehurting. We pray for each of you daily and know that the Lord is sending a special blessing upon you and your household.
This was the word that I released in December 2019 as my 2020 Word! During this time of “unrest” in our nation, REST is a key word for our victory!!
“By My Spirit” in 2020: A Decade of Rest By Kathi Pelton
“So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty Zechariah 4:6
Each time I see the numbers 2020 I see this verse overlaid upon it. As I have prayed into the decade ahead, there are two of the things that the Lord has highlighted to me:
• The sovereignty of God will be displayed throughout the earth.
• Resting in His sovereignty will be where victories are won.
As I was praying into these two things the Lord began to highlight an interesting item in the new house that my family moves into across the nation (in the Washington DC region) as a prophetic sign. That “interesting item” is that this house has an elevator!! What?! No, we are not moving into a mansion but it was built as a model home for the community it is in and they put everything that was offered into it. An elevator for the three floors is one of those options. We are giving the option of laboring to get somewhere or resting in “by His Spirit” to take us higher.
As I listened to the Lord for the meaning of this elevator I saw Jacob’s ladder and felt that there would be an ease about going up to the heavenly places and then an ease in returning with the revelation given. There will be a lot of going up and coming back down beginning in the new year. This will be the source of keeping us out of constant “ups and downs” in our souls.
After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” Revelation 4:1
The invitation and the open door is before you! The key to entering in is resting in the sovereignty of God. “Not by night, not by power but by His Spirit!”
Just as I was pondering this “elevator prophetic sign” Patricia King, who raised me up and mentored me as a prophetic voice, released a word and encounter regarding going up in the ease of an elevator to receive deeper revelation!! This was such a confirmation for me (you can find that word on The Elijah List from 12/30).
As our family prepares to move next week to the Washington DC region (we will be in Virginia) I found myself getting emotionally prepared for a battle. Everyone that we know who has arrived there has had to face great battles. I found myself figuring out all sorts of ways to prepare spiritually, mentally and emotionally. It was like a subconscious preparation. As this was happening the Lord interrupted me. He said, “Kathi, what are you doing? Do you not know that resting in Me is the key to your victory?”
As He spoke those words I remembered the verse from Zechariah 4:6 and then the phrase that says, “It takes two to fight” kept going through my mind.
The enemy will try to pull you into “fight mode” because the past decade as been a “warring decade.” We have becomes more familiar with the battle than the rest of God. It’s what we’ve known and what we are familiar with but it’s time to change our “default” from battle to rest.
As we have laid down all that we have known to enter into the new we need to know that the key to victory in the next decade is spiritual rest. It is an abiding trust, peace and rest that does not engage in the provocation of the enemy that is designed to pull you out of rest and into war. I don’t exactly know what that will look like but I trust that He will teach us. This will not be lethargy or inactivity but rather a spiritual rest in His sovereignty. It’s a posture in your spirit that aligns your soul. There will be battles but the battle belongs to the Lord and will be won through the rest of the Lord.
I learned many years ago that supernatural peace was the key to my personal warfare being defeated (which you can read about in my 30 Days to Breakthrough: Stepping into Peace book). Where there is peace there is no fear or warfare! But this rest will take us deeper and it will be the one thing that the enemy cannot fight. You will be like a warrior of rest.
Then I came across a word by Bob Jones that I had never seen before, it is all about 2020-2029 and rest! Here is that word,
“The 2020’s will reveal the ‘Rest’ of God, to where the Body will come into a place of resting in God, where God will rest in us. And in this rest, the enemy will not be able to do warfare, because we are resting in God and He is resting in us. He will accomplish the things He means to do in a people that is at rest. He has always wanted a people that will come into His rest; there never has been one but rest is on the way.” Bob Jones
Rest is on the way!
“…but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
Hope and rest will be closely tied together. They walk hand in hand. If rest is the key to victory then hoping in the Lord is the key to rest. Hopelessness will drain and exhaust you and battling in the way you have in the past will merely bring you into a war against hope.
Lay down you weapons of the past decade and pick up the spiritual weapons of the next decade which are rest, hope, trusting in His sovereignty, and accepting the invitation to “Come up here.”
I hear the “ding” of the elevator arriving and the doors opening to take you up. You will receive revelation and impartation about true rest for your souls and true spiritual rest. This will bring you much healing from the traumas of battle from the past decade.
The doors are now opening…enter in!
Thank you to ALL of my amazing followers who have and are continuing to stand with us in prayer and financial support during this time. We are praying for you daily and decreeing every promise of God to rest upon your life and home.
-I wrote this a year ago but felt the Spirit ask me to re-share it with you. –
I was taken into a vision where I saw a swirl of fear, chaos and distraction being sent against many of God’s people. This demonic assignment was causing people to feel disoriented and disconnected. It came so fast and furious that it completely caught them off guard.
I’m from Northern California where the coastline is known for what are called, “sneaker waves.” These are very large and powerful waves that suddenly and unexpectedly come upon the shoreline. These sneaker waves a known for pulling someone from the shallows or a person walking on the rocks out into the turbulent sea.
This is an appropriate description of what this assignment looks like. It may feel like you were wading in the refreshing glory of God or walking with Him upon shores of grace—then, suddenly you are caught by a sneaker wave and are pulled out into the chaos and turbulence of the raging sea.
In this vision I saw those who were caught in the chaos of this sneaker wave struggling to reorient themselves. I saw their arms flailing like a person who was being pulled under and drowning. As I saw this I saw the Lord with them and heard Him speak these words,
“Stop fighting, stop flailing and let Me rescue you. Trust Me and watch what I will do.”
When someone is drowning, the worst thing that they can do when help arrives is to fight and flail in fear. As they rest and relax into full dependency upon the one who has come to save them, the rescue is far easier and much less traumatic.
The Lord is with you in the sea of chaos that has caught you by surprise. Relax and rest in His arms because He is right there with you. Fear may have been blinding you from seeing Him but know this; He is there to rescue and save you.
As the vision continued and I saw these people as they began to recognize the Lord’s presence with them. They began to relax into the peace that comes with absolute dependency upon His saving power. As they ceased striving and flailing, the sea of chaos that they had been drowning in suddenly became a wave that lifted them up carried them to the shore. Yet it was not the shore that they began upon but it was a shore of destiny. A wave of destiny brought them to a shore of destiny. A new place that they had not ever been to before.
So often God will use what the enemy has sent against us as an opportunity to get us further and faster to the place He has for us. This is happening for many right now. We all know from scripture that when the enemy comes in—like a flood— the Lord raises up a standard against him. It is the Lord that floods the atmosphere with His ways and will.
Years ago the Lord told me to be aware that the demons feed on fear and chaos. It is like a feeding frenzy for demons when the atmosphere is charged with the fear that produces chaos and robs men of peace. Then He showed me that when there is peace and trust in Him it releases an atmosphere that is complete confusion to the enemy. He and his army fall into absolute chaos and confusion— and they must flee! Peace and trust attract the hosts of heaven but chaos and fear attract the hosts of hell.
If you have been caught by a spiritual “sneaker wave” that has pulled you into its grip; threatening to pull you under and drown you— then now is the time to close your eyes and see with the eyes of your spirit. God is with you to rescue and save you. Enter into peace and trust Him in the turbulent sea. Watch the chaos suddenly become a wave that you were destined to ride to the new shores of glory where that which you’ve longed and waited for is suddenly before you.
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:7
Thank you to all of my faithful followers for supporting us in prayer and financial support at this time. We pray for you daily and are declaring that every storm sent against you would bring you to the shores of destiny!
The word “blossom” has been one of my quarantine words. Why? Well, as we all began to cover our faces and separate from one another I began to see a picture emerging of a flower bud—closed and hidden—then, as the earth slept it opened up in all of it’s beauty and brilliance for all to see— to be unmasked.
I believe that we are in the end of a long night where we went to sleep only seeing signs of Spring and signs of the budding of flowers but as the dawn is beginning to awaken on this quarantine and we are able to come face to face with one another once again…we will see that the bride has blossomed!
Even as I have connected online with His people around the world, I have seen an awakening and transformation— a blossoming! It is like a beautiful garden has been unlocked and revealed in all of its splendor and beauty. The flowers have appeared and the fragrance is like the perfume that filled the room when poured over the feet of Jesus.
I love to watch the Spring bulbs as they come up out of the ground and the buds appear. I am filled with anticipation for the unveiling of the beauty hidden within. Then, each year I will go to bed one night with only buds and the next morning wake up to see that they have blossomed! It is like a prince came and kissed each one during the night and they opened their eyes and arose to display their beauty and to release their fragrance.
This is what is happening with the bride! Before this global shut down we were a bud just waiting to be kissed by the Son and awakened. But suddenly the night is coming to a close and we have received our kiss and are in full bloom. We are in the newness of morning.
The bride is like the Shulamite in the Song of Songs that has now responded to her Beloved and is ready to run with Him. This time has nurtured the beauty of oneness with Christ which creates oneness with each other. John 17:23 says that this oneness will reveal to the world who Jesus truly is,
“I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.” Perfect unity is oneness— this is seen in the earthly covenant of marriage as the two become one flesh. It is like the intermingling of two fragrances becoming one— two blossoms becoming one.
Get ready to be intoxicated by the fragrance of the Bride and her Bridegroom. The beauty of oneness has blossomed but it will not only last for a short season but this garden is an eternal one with no end.
Can you see the dawn awakening? Can you smell the fragrance of what has blossomed? Can you feel the anticipation of the Father to reveal the bride as she has been prepared?
May is the month of blossoming and June is the month of revealing— get ready for a Holy intoxication of beauty!
Thank you to all of my readers and ministry friends who have sown into us financially during this time. I hear the Lord speaking a blessing of multiplication and favor over you and your household! We are decreeing this over you as well. You are beautiful and your gifts are so appreciated!
“Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” Psalm 126:5-6
As I meditated on these two verses the Lord highlighted the portion that says, 𝑇ℎ𝑜𝑠𝑒 𝑤ℎ𝑜 𝑔𝑜 𝑜𝑢𝑡 𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑝𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑐𝑎𝑟𝑟𝑦𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑠𝑒𝑒𝑑𝑠 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑜𝑤. I suddenly was overcome by the pleasure of the Lord for His sons and daughters as they chose to sow seeds in the midst of their tears. I could feel how proud He is of His children who are pushing past their personal pain to sow seeds of worship, obedience, truth, finances, encouragement and honor.
Though many of these precious ones have slept upon pillows soaked with their own tears, they still make a choice to face the morning by sowing seeds that bring honor and pleasure to the heart of God. They know that He alone is worthy of all honor; even in the midst of their personal pain.
The enemy may work hard to cause shame and pain but God has a promise for you,
“Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.” Isaiah 61:7
What appears now to be losses will soon prove to be your season of multiplication. Many prophetic voices are hearing the words, “Double for your troubles” and I believe this to be true. Negatives will soon be positives and not only positives but multiplications.
Hold onto hope! Though hope may feel like a “long shot” in the midst of the current circumstances and pain…still- hold onto hope and keep sowing seeds in the time of weeping.
“Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles.” Zechariah 9:12
I believe that many will experience their double portion breakthrough in the month of May. I specifically sense that this month is an open door that enters the body of Christ into a time of many breakthroughs. The summer months will be marked by miracles and remembered as the summer of miracles and summer of redemption! Multiplication will mark your life!
Though tears of pain have fallen, they have watered seeds of joy that will suddenly spring forth like wildflowers that are even now covering the fields. You will stand in awe as you witness the grace, kindness and goodness of God. Your tears have fallen and watered the seeds you have sown in faith and hooe. Songs of deliverance will soon be sung and the atmosphere will be filled with the sounds of joy.
“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16
The Lord spoke to me that today begins a month of extravagant and extraordinary grace; 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑒 𝑢𝑝𝑜𝑛 𝑔𝑟𝑎𝑐𝑒! He is inviting His people to 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙮 to His throne of grace where you will receice mercy, grace and help for 𝗔𝗟𝗟 that you need.
Need often causes us to become aware of our weakness and dependency upon God. Therefore, this time of need has created an invitation to “come boldly before His throne of grace.“ His throne is where our help comes from. Most are standing in unemployment lines, lines to enter grocery stores and welfare lines but there is a place that there is no line, no wait and no need to prove or explain your need- it is a place of help, grace and compassion. There is no fear or shame in this place; only help and joy.
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” II Corinthians 12:9
In May we will see a great manifestation of the strength (power) of God being made perfect (manifest) in the midst of need (weakness). The power of God will rest upon you in ways that strengthen you, uphold you and help you.
This is not a time to come under a spirit of despair because of your need or your weakness but it is time to be clothed in bold confidence and approach the throne where our Savior is seated and distributes grace without measure- He just says, “𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙚.“
Get ready to be a walking testimony of His power and grace coming uoon you! Many will ask you how you are thriving in this time and you will take them by the hand and lead them to the throne of grace to receive help.
We will have the spirit of prophesy resting upon us as the testimony of His faithfulness is made known to those around us.
“I will make known the Lord’s faithful love and the Lord’s praiseworthy acts, because of all the Lord has done for us — even the many good things he has done for the house of Israel, which he did for them based on his compassion and the abundance of his faithful love.” Isaiah 63:7
May you approach Him with bold confidence as we enter the month of May!
