Oceans in the Desert

This past Sunday I was taken into a vision where I saw a wall that protected each of God’s people from the thief (the enemy). This wall was built out of stones that declared His faithfulness. They were like colored stones (or precious stones) that represented the different aspects of His faithfulness and promises. It was a high wall that was fortified by the faith of the believer that it was placed there to protect and it was built upon the timeline of their lives.

As I looked out upon each of these amazing walls (each individual had their own wall), I began to notice places that were broken down and darkened. They were gaps where I saw that breaches had been created and the thief could enter in through. I asked the Lord what had created these gaps (or broken places) and immediately He showed me moments or seasons in these individuals lives where a hardship or trial had come and in great discouragement they aligned with lies that declared that “God was not faithful”. Whether through agreeing with doubt, despair, accusations against God’s character or words that compromised the truth of His faithfulness; that place in their wall had a gap and the colorful stones were knocked down and dark (blackened).

Then I heard Him speak these words,

“I am repairing the walls of my people’s lives so that the enemy can no longer breach it and rob them of my promise of abundant life. Tell them to declare My faithfulness and the attributes of My faithfulness over the timeline of their lives.”

I shared this with the people of our church this past Sunday and then I had them stand up and together we began to declare God’s faithfulness into the gaps and broken places in the wall of our lives (history and timeline). These declarations, along with repentance for agreeing with the enemy, were rebuilding the wall of His faithfulness and bringing back the color to these precious stones. The wall of His faithfulness that protected them from the thief (John 10:10) was being fortified so that they could live in abundant life.

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, till it overflows].” John 10:10‬ ‭AMP‬‬

We all have had battles with doubt and unbelief, but if there have been times and seasons where you allowed words of agreement that declared something other than His absolute faithfulness then now is the time to renounce and repent of those agreements and to declare His faithfulness! Shout out the words of His faithfulness and character over the places of compromised truth that allowed gaps in the wall of your life that the enemy has been breaching.

• Over every agreement with doubt we declare, “I believe in Your faithfulness with unwavering confidence!”

• Over every agreement that blamed God for things we experienced, we repent and declare, “You are blameless!”

• Over every accusation that was spoken by our mouths or entertained in our hearts, that stood against God and His character; we renounce those words and nullify their power. We declare, “You are faithful and true, pure and holy, good and kind, abounding in perfect love!”

• Over every moment or season in our past that we have aligned with a compromise regarding the faithfulness of God; we repent and declare over those times, “You are and have always been faithful to me!”

We now evict the thief and his cohorts who have used these gaps in the walls of our lives to rob us of the fullness of the abundant life that God intended for us. We receive the grace and mercy that the cross has provided. We declare that our lives will testify of the faithfulness of our God and the world will see the manifestation of God’s faithfulness resting upon His Bride. Then they will know that HE IS LORD!

Declare it! “Faithful You are! Faithful, forever You will be!” Declare it daily, declare it in the storm, declare it in the battle, declare it in the victory. It is your testimony and your truth!
