He Makes The Darkness Tremble

by Kathi Pelton

As many of you know, I asked for prayer yesterday (and wow, I got it!). I have an amazing prayer team that covers us, our ministry and our family so I don’t normally “go public!” Yesterday I did because I knew that the name of Jesus makes the darkness tremble and that my faithful friends and followers would speak His name and each time they would that light would dispel darkness.

I don’t know if what I’ve been dealing with recently is warfare, just being worn-down or witchcraft (or all three) but I do know that, whatever the case is, His name sheds light and changes the atmosphere! Just the mention of His name makes the darkness tremble! Through His grace I can handle difficult circumstances and physical challenges (not that I invite them!) but when I can’t find the One my heart longs for it becomes time to make the darkness tremble at the mention of His name!

There has been a increased level of warfare coming at God’s people. I don’t say that to glorify the enemy or to focus on the battle but as God’s people have been arising with such beauty, unity, power and surrender they are taking back ground that has been long held by the enemy. His “kingdom” is being shaken by the unshakable Kingdom of God! A great army is arising…dry bones are coming to life! This has created a great battle in the heavens and on the earth.

As we witness tragedies like the death of Toby Mac’s young son, the suicides of well-loved and known young pastors, and the intense warfare over our leaders and president, we must remember that we have a name that we can all upon who rescues and saves. When I’m at a complete loss I will often just sit and repeat His name over and over. His name washes over me like waves of mercy that remove the fog and confusion. Within His name is every answer needed to rescue and save us from even the greatest despair.

As I read about the loss of Toby Mac’s, and his wife Amanda’s, sudden loss of their precious son, all I could do was speak the name of Jesus as a prayer over them. Jesus knows what it is like to feel the weight of the deepest grief and our Heavenly Father has also watched His Son die. He is acquainted with with our sorrows and deepest grief.

“He was despised and rejected— a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care.” Isaiah 53:3

Jesus took all grief, sorrow, sin and hopelessness upon Himself on the cross and purchased victory. We are no longer hopeless, even in death! We are comforted by the victory of eternal life and a grace that carries us into His resurrection. Jesus not only made the darkness tremble but He defeated death and the grave! He is always the joy set before us; there is no circumstance in which we have been left to utter hopelessness. His life and light gives us an abiding place where hope is alive.

When you feel the darkness closing in around you, declare the name of Jesus and watch the darkness tremble. When death surrounds you, Jesus brings the hope of resurrection life! When sorrow overwhelms you, Jesus comforts you and lifts you up out of despair. When lack is all you see, Jesus blesses your “small offering” and feeds the multitudes; leaving you with much more than you began with (see Mark 8:8). Victory is sure, no matter the circumstance; for nothing can reverse what He has already done!

We do face sorrows and suffering but not without hope. We face battles but with victory assured, because the greatest battle is death and that has already been defeated!

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

The darkness cannot separate you from the love of God that is in our precious Savior! He makes the darkness tremble and He opens graves with resurrection life! Just the mention of His name brings light and life.

Thank you to all who mentioned His name over my life yesterday! You brought light and lifted me above the darkness. Let’s do that for those in need today. Let’s call out on the name of Jesus for those suffering and in deep grief

. We are an army of light and His name is written upon our hearts. We will arise and declare into the atmosphere and into nations the worth of Jesus. We will shout about the victory of our King.

Let’s join Him in making the darkness tremble today! Release so much light that even graves burst open with resurrection life! An army of light is rising up declaring the name of Jesus!

Were You Born In A Barn? In The Days Ahead Many Will Answer, “Yes I Was!”

by Kathi Pelton

For the past few weeks I have become aware of something that is happening even now regarding “a barn revival”, some are calling the worship and prayer times in these barns, “a barn burn.”

In my hometown of Santa Rosa, California many in the church would meet in a beautiful local barn to worship and pray and listen to voices such as Heidi Baker and Georgian Banov. As a matter of fact, my daughter, Amy and her husband, Luke were married on this property and their wedding reception was held in that very barn. But in 2017 a firestorm hit the region and the entire property, including this barn was burned. It was a great loss.

Since that time, every time I talk about this event and say that the barn burned I then begin to hear the verse from Isaiah 61:3,

“…to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified.”

I’ve sensed that there would be a beautiful restoration that would come from the ashes of even this one barn that became ashes. Beauty will rise from the ashes of devastation in many lives, cities and nations. A barn raising will happen and the fire of God will fall, bringing great restoration!

Then, I began to see visions of people telling other people, “I was born in a barn!” I realized that they were speaking of being “born again” in a barn. Just as our Savior was born in a barn and laid in a manger, many will come from afar, like the wisemen who followed the star, to find the Savior of the world in a barn once again. They will be born in a barn because they did not find “room in the Inn (church).”

I believe that there will be barns all across America that will release the sound of worship, the sound of prayer and the sound of the revelation of the good news. Light will come forth from these barns like a star in the sky that leads many to find Jesus there. Both the saved and unsaved will come. Those whose lives have been in ashes will come; the hopeless, the weary, the sick and the lost will come and as they hear the sound they will see their Savior. Beauty and salvation will come forth from the ashes and the fire of the Holy One will come like a second Pentecost upon all who gather.

The name of the Lord will be heard throughout the land and those who would never step into a church will come to these barns because of the light and the sound. They will find healing for their weary souls and they will leave these barns like young calves set free from the stalls.

“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture.” Malachi 4:2

Many will be born in these barns! We will even see the church gather to raise barns once again. Unity will come even from the times of preparing barns and community will be formed around these barns. John 17:21 is where we read Jesus’ prayer for us to be one in the same way that the Father, Son and Spirit are one and these barns will become a place of oneness! They will be like a womb where many are birthed and new life comes forth.

There will be barns on fire but they will burn with the fire of God that lights up the sky and calls many home. The harvest will be gathered in the barns and the angels will gather to sing, “Glory to God in the highest, and peace and goodwill toward mankind.”

You Will Tremble As You See The Goodness Of The Lord Come Upon The Desolate Places

by Kathi Pelton

When we think of trembling we usually think of fear or a cold chill. It is rarely spoken in the context of something good. But there is a trembling that happens in moments of awe and wonder. It catches you off guard causing you to collapse in joyful tears under the weight of such goodness.

We see this kind of trembling when a young child sees their daddy for the first time after a long military tour or when two lovers who have been separated by a great distance are finally able to embrace. We see this when a mother holds her newborn baby or the first time that the daughter that my husband and I fought to adopt was finally placed in our arms. It is a trembling that comes from the awe of a long awaited desire fulfilled.

“And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.” Jeremiah‬ ‭33:9‬ ‭

Though this verse is speaking of the restoration of Jerusalem; as I awoke this morning the Lord gave it to me for His Bride…you! The Lord is about to show you His faithfulness in such a way that it will leave you trembling in awe. The display and manifestation of His goodness and prosperity upon your life will also cause your enemies to fear and tremble as they see all the plans they sent against you crumble before the goodness of God.

Though you’ve felt like a barren and desolate city, soon you will watch as the faithful goodness of the Lord overtakes all that stood against you; causing you to prosper with shouts of great joy! This will be the sound that comes forth from your life,

“…the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord: ‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!’ For I will restore the fortunes of the land as at first, says the Lord.” Jeremiah‬ ‭33:11‬ ‭

This was His promise for the holy city of Jerusalem and it is His promise over you. He is good and He is your Restorer. Now is the time to shout His goodness over your desolate area! Shout it over the barren wombs, bad reports and those who are sick. Shout it over every waste place. Shout to that place of dread in the pit of your stomach. Fill your lack with shouts of, “The Lord is good!”

His promises are true and they are sure! Therefore, you can begin to release the voice of gladness be heard even now. The enemy has been shouting with a voice of dread, hopelessness and accusation for far too long. His voice comes and sucks the air out of the room and out of your lungs because it is the voice of lies and darkness. Break all agreements with that voice because it only comes to kill, steal and destroy.

It is time to raise the voice of the redeemed. Let the sound of those who have been given abundant life go into the atmosphere and into the land. Let us shout,

“Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!”

Watch as a trembling of awe and wonder returns to His Church! This tremble will cause mountains to fall and desolate places to blossom with goodness and prosperity.

April Will Be A Month That Open Doors and Opens Blossoms of Promise!

by Kathi Pelton

When I sat down this morning to write this word about April being a month of open doors, my phone sent me an alert of a new message. That message read, “April literally means ‘To Open’.”

I just about jumped out of my skin! I quickly went and googled the meaning of the name April and here is what I read,

“April goes way back. … One is that the name is rooted in the Latin Aprilis which is derived from the Latin aperire meaning “to open” – which could be a reference to the opening or blossoming of flowers and trees, a common occurrence throughout the month of April in the northern hemisphere.”

April is the fourth month of the year; and the fourth letter in the Hebrew alphabet is “dalet” which means or signifies a door. Though April comes each year as the fourth month, I have never experienced a spiritual awakening or blossoming such as I sense this year. God has highlighted the words “open doors” to me from the moment April began and though we are only a week into it there are daily signs in the spirit and in the natural that is an announcement from heaven that something has opened up!

For me personally, April is one of my favorite months because of the budding or blossoming of the flowers and trees here in North America. Around our city cherry trees are in full pink displays of color. Many of our streets look like they’ve been lined with cotton candy. The dogwood trees are in full bloom and the tulips and daffodils have come out of the ground to announce that Spring has sprung.

Each year I am like a child in a candy shop as I see this visual display of life appearing in the land. But this year there is something more! This year there is a convergence of what is happening in the land and in the Spirit. I know that something has opened! The Lord is speaking the words from Isaiah 22:22,

“I will give him the key to the house of David—the highest position in the royal court. When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them.”

If you have read my articles from the past two days about 4/4–isn’t it interesting that this verse is from Isaiah 22:22? Mathematically 22 + 22 becomes 44. I am not being superstitious or over-spiritual because, as a friend pointed out to me yesterday, God has a personal language that is to be found by each one of us. For some of us He uses pictures, numbers, and visual signposts as His signature for us to see. That is often how He confirms things for me. As I put these things together they always add up to a clear confirmation that He is speaking. They will include my seer gift, His voice, the Word of God, and natural signs converging together to bring a clear message.

Jesus is our open door! God is opening doors that no man can close and He is closing doors that no man can open. These open doors will bring new life to His people. Long awaited promises will blossom and times of waiting will end. This open-door time for God’s people will also open doors for those who are ready for a “born again” experience. The seeds, or bulbs, of salvation will suddenly burst forth with great joy as many come into the knowledge of the love of Jesus.

The joy these new believers experience will also become our joy as we cross into this era of birthing new life. I saw a vision of the body of Christ sitting in a “critical care” unit in a hospital (where trauma and loss permeated the air) to suddenly being in a maternity ward where new life, birth, promises fulfilled, and great joy filled the atmosphere!

These open doors will also bring forth open doors for the rights of the unborn to be upheld. Doors will close that take make a way to take life from the doorway of the womb. Adoption will replace abortion!

April is an opening that will cross His people into experiencing “abundant life” like never before. I believe we will even see a baby boom in the natural, and in this baby boom we will see many baby girls that are given the name April!

Begin to declare open doors over your life, children, household, ministry, business, and city! Call forth the new life and begin to praise Him for the blossoming of life and promises being fulfilled.

As April began, the Lord spoke to me and said that there would be no April Fools this year because this is real! This is not a time where we will feel disappointed, as though we were fooled into believing something that didn’t manifest. We will see doors open that bring life and blessings and we will see doors close that have let the thief in (who steals, kills and destroys).

Lastly, I heard the words from His Spirit saying, “I rename you Beulah land.”

“No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.” Isaiah‬ ‭62:4‬ ‭

This is His declaration over you! His delight will come upon you and overtake you!

From Hope Deferred to Desire Fulfilled

By Kathi Pelton

It was August of 1987 I was jolted out of a dream—where my greatest desire had been fulfilled—back into the reality of my constant state of hope deferred. In the dream I held my baby daughter. It hadn’t felt like a typical dream; It seemed I had actually been taken somewhere and held my desire fulfilled for the very first time. I had never felt such love or beheld such beauty. When I awoke it was as if she was torn from my arms, and deep waves of grief flooded my soul.

My husband and I had been trying to conceive a baby for years with no success. We had gone through all the medical tests and the problem was with me. I had been going through fertility treatments for over two years at that point, with no sign of improvement. I’d often find myself wondering why so many women who didn’t want their babies or who considered them “disposable” could conceive but my husband and I, who ached for a baby, were left barren. I knew God had not abandoned us but I did not see His plan in this.

Four months after my beautiful dream, we received a call from a pastor who had recently counseled a fifteen-year-old mother; four months earlier she had given birth prematurely to a little girl and this mother wanted to give her up for adoption. The pastor had heard that we wanted a baby but were unable to conceive, and the Lord put it on his heart to call us and ask if we were interested in adopting this little girl.

We were overwhelmed with excitement and immediately said “yes!” Although it took nine months from the day of that phone call to walk out the miraculous story of getting our daughter, not only did we get to bring her home just before her first birthday, but I was four months pregnant when we did! We found out that she was born the same month I had the dream of holding my baby daughter, and the name that her young birth mother gave her meant “longed for” or “desired one.”

Now, thirty years later, I am watching our youngest daughter and her husband face the same pain. After years of trying to conceive a child they are in that painful grip of hope deferred. I see the pain in their eyes and the helpless struggle that her husband feels to comfort his wife as she silently aches inside. As her mom, I keenly understand the pain, the constant ache, and the many thoughts of “Why?”

The beauty of my story of adoption and the pain of my daughter’s journey of hope deferred made the recent news of the late-term abortion bill in New York State that much more of a sting. The issue has been before us for decades, but for whatever reason this particular ruling has acted as a tripwire that woke many out of the spiritual stupor of prayerlessness. It ignited a burning desire to see this horrific, defiling waste of life stop.

As I prayed the Lord showed me that the church has been in a continuous “ebb and flow” of prayer regarding the issue of abortion. With every ebb the enemy would take that time to advance his agenda to kill the sons and daughters of tomorrow. His deceptions and lies would advance his cause to rob God, and rob the world, of the very inheritance the Son died for. Each year nearly sixty million abortions occur worldwide. Sixty million!

If that fifteen-year-old girl had given into the “ease” of solving her unwanted pregnancy through abortion, our daughter would not exist. That beautiful baby that fulfilled my greatest longing would have been merely a statistic that only our God truly grieved for.

Most abortions are not performed on teens, but rather women in their young twenties. If only they knew that what they carried in their wombs could fill the arms of a couple that longed to cherish and love a son or daughter! If only they understood that even before this child’s conception, God dreamed of this life, made plans for this life, and knew this life  intimately.

If only we, as His people, had stopped to pray.

Something has happened, and it has awakened the church and awakened women to rise up and fight for these little lives that cannot fight for themselves. Their mothers have been blinded and deceived by the enemy of God, the deceiver who has written a different narrative telling our culture that a life is not a life until it is outside of the womb. God forgive us for our prayerlessness and for not facing the evil giant called abortion.

Together we are now going as one, in the power of His might and the name of His Son, to face this giant until it is defeated. No more ebb and flow, but rather a continuous flow of resurrection power coming from those who have received LIFE!  May the word adoption replace abortion and may hope deferred be replaced by desires fulfilled.

Choose life!

The Rerouting Continues: Rerouting Your Words To Bring Forth Life

Kathi Pelton

Those who follow my writings will know that the Lord has been speaking to me regarding “rerouting” pathways in the lives of His people (neurological pathways, emotional pathways, thoughts, beliefs, and even steps). Earlier this week He spoke to me about how He is dealing with the root of the spirit of fear that has caused areas of control and manipulation. He was rerouting fear with His perfect love.

Today He spoke to me regarding our words. As we all know, our words have power; they speak life or death, blessings or cursing. The Bible clearly states that there is power in our words.

“Wise words satisfy like a good meal; the right words bring satisfaction. The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.” Proverbs‬ ‭18:20-21‬ ‭

Can neurological pathways be affected by the spoken word? Can anxiety, depression, and emotional turmoil come as a result of words wrongly spoken? The Word of God seems to tell us it can.

“Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.” Proverbs‬ ‭15:4‬ ‭

God is rerouting the way that we speak about ourselves, our loved ones, our neighbors, our leaders, and even our nations. Our words create agreements; either with God or with the enemy. As His people we must align our words with His thoughts and His truth. This rerouting of our words to be aligned with His heart will be effective in binding a critical spirit that has laid hold of so many. Just scroll through social media or turn on the TV and the negative and critical spirit that crushes and creates turmoil is rampant. God’s people can overcome this by following His instructions:

“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians‬ ‭4:8-9‬

As we think on these things (even regarding thoughts about ourselves), it has the power to reroute our beliefs while resetting our lives with love, peace and joy. Then “out of our hearts our mouths speak” (Luke 6:45, Matthew 15:18)! As our hearts—and our thoughts—align with that which is true, honorable, right, and pure, we then begin to release words that have the power to give life and release blessings.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reroute your thoughts with His thoughts which are true and pure. Then watch as your mouth pours out a fountain that gives a refreshing drink to the thirsty, water upon the dry land of your soul that softens the hard places. His words of life will reroute your emotions from dwelling in anxiety and depression to freedom of abundance, peace, and joy.

Speak life and blessings over your spouse, your children, your siblings, your parents, the church, your leaders, and your nation. Renounce all agreements that your words have spoken that have cause a critical spirit to take hold of you or have released a curse against the very things that are dear to you. Receive a new heart so that your words release the power of life and your mouth becomes a doorway of hope.

“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.” Psalm‬ ‭141:3‬ ‭

The rerouting continues! Fear is being broken, minds are being changed, disorders are coming into divine order, and resurrection life is coming to the dead places.

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” Deuteronomy 30:19

It’s Time to Come Out of Your Wilderness

Kathi Pelton

I awoke this morning hearing the verse from Song of Songs,

“Who is this coming up from the wilderness leaning on her beloved? Song of Songs‬ ‭8:5‬(a)

Many of you have gone through a long wilderness period. I, too, went through a three year wilderness time in the late 1990s. It was the hardest time I ever faced as I navigated my way through what I would call my “dark night of the soul”. The amazing thing is that in the most painful and dark time in my journey with Christ I was given the strength to wrestle down the despair that sought to take my life, in order to find the place of “leaning upon my Beloved”. Then He carried me out of the wilderness into a vast and open place.

Although God is not the author of despair, it is not foreign to even the most spiritual of men and women. Yet, in the midst of wilderness times or dark nights of the soul, there is great hope to be found in dependency and intimacy with our Beloved Savior. He does not abandon us in the wilderness but rather He is ever present to calms our fears, comfort our pain, and invite us into His arms of love.

Though I’d never wish my “dark night” onto anyone, I am so grateful that God allowed me to go through the wilderness because it was during that time that I was set free of many strongholds, healed of deep wounds from my childhood, and discovered true intimacy for the first time. It did not come cheap or without many moments of stumbling over the chains that bound me, but in the end I found abundant life as I learned to lean upon my Beloved.

During the last months of my wilderness time I would hear the words from Songs of Songs flowing through my spirit like a declaration of joy from the Throne of God. It was like an announcement of freedom and a completed work in my life. As I came out of the wilderness, leaning with absolute love and dependency upon Jesus, I was greeted with such a Heavenly celebration! The next three years became a manifestation of unexpected and undeserved blessings. I had encounters with God that I didn’t even know were possible and I walked in a favor that was unexplainable.

Today I heard those sweet words from Song of Songs 8:5 once again. This time they weren’t for me but I knew they were for His people who had been through a long wilderness time and learned the beauty of dependency and intimacy. You have let all self-sufficiency fall away and in the midst of the darkness and pain you have learned to lean upon your Beloved.

You too have a celebration of Heavenly encounters awaiting you. An open land awaits you that is filled with favor, desires fulfilled, and great restoration. As you have rejected the fate that the enemy sought for your life through this difficult time and held onto the promises of your inheritance in Christ Jesus it has strengthened you and prepared you to remain pure in the abundant blessings He has in store for you.

I encourage you today to “choose life”. This was a key element for my freedom. I had to reject death and destruction and choose life at a time that I just wanted the pain to end.

“This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” Deuteronomy 30:19-20

In the wilderness I found that the Lord was my life and every other thing fell away. Nothing saved me but the Lord! As I chose life, in reality I chose Christ! Prior to the wilderness time I had many things that I chose to comfort me, to fill the empty places and to dream of that took the place of Christ alone. As they fell away during my three years in the wilderness I found Him to be my all-sufficiency. I learned to lean upon my Beloved and desire Him alone. After that other things were added but they did not take His place.

I finish with the following words from Songs of Songs 8 for you to pray,

“Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot sweep it away. If one were to give all the wealth of one’s house for love, it would be utterly scorned.” Song of Songs‬ ‭8:6-7‬ ‭

Speak Life

speak-life

By Kathi Pelton

Proverbs 18:21

The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

Possessing the power of life and death is a powerful tool that each one of us have. Many of you were told as children the words, “Stick and stones shall break my bones but words will never hurt me.” This is one of the greatest lies that children are taught. Negative words not only hurt but they bring death to God’s identity and purpose in lives. You are more likely to recover from stick and stone than from negative words.

God has given us truth through His written Word. He has speaks words of life and yet I still hear many believers speaking death over not only their own lives but over the lives of others and over their nations. Recently I heard a believer say the words, “My life sucks.” My heart immediately grieved because I knew that if they continued to speak this and align their beliefs with this statement that they would eat the bad fruit that comes from this confession.

Statements of faith are powerful tools. They align us with truth, with hope, with God’s plans and with His heart. As we agree with God’s truth over our lives it releases power to bring manifestation to His promises. There are also statements of faith that are negative. If you align your faith with doom or victimization then you give power to those beliefs. I am always saddened when I am at a restaurant or coffee shop and hear two moms or a mom and dad talking about their children negatively. I hear statements like, “Johnny is so lazy! He will never get anywhere with his lack of motivation!” These statements make me wonder if the reason Johnny is unmotivated is because his parents aren’t speaking life and his true potential into his life?

My husband and I make it an ongoing practice to speak life over our children. We do this in front of them and when we are away from them. If a situation arises with one of our kids that has a negative aspect on it, we don’t walk in fear about discussing it with one another but we always make it a matter of prayer and declare truth and life over whatever the negative issue is. I believe that this has been the key to seeing our children walk in continued growth, breakthrough and maturity. Have they arrived at full freedom and breakthrough, no! But they are always moving forward and always receiving words of life to put the wind of the Spirit at their backs and the love of God in their hearts.

How do you treat yourself? Do you speak words of life over your own life? What do you align your words and your beliefs with? If you have been speaking death over your life and aligning yourself  with the belief that your breakthrough will never come then your statement of faith will feed you with this fruit. Now is the time to turn your words and your beliefs; about yourself, your life circumstances, your family (children/spouse/relatives), your business or ministry and your nation to words that bring life. Believe for good and not evil. How about believing what the Father has said in Jeremiah 29:11,

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

God does not lie! This is your truth and your promise. He plans to prosper you, to give you hope and a future. Now is the time to come into agreement with truth. Your breakthrough may just be in the power of your words!
