Oceans in the Desert

God is about to turn the strategy of the enemy around on his own camp. The enemy has sought to weaken many of God’s people. He has stolen their sleep, he has attacked their peace, he has robbed their resources and he has obstructed forward motion. Many are feeling weak…very weak. But if that is you then do not be discouraged! The Word makes it very clear that our weakness is an invitation for the power of God to come.

God reminded me of this today and said,
“The stage is set for My glory to be displayed.”

We have asked to be ones who display His glory. Well the stage is set and the cast is about to be debuted. You may feel like a public display of weakness but if that is the case it is because there is about to be a public display of His strength made manifest for all to see.

2 Corinthians 12: 9 assures us of this promise:
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

So go ahead, delight and boast in your current weakness because you are about to see strength and power come from the One who has put Satan under His feet. Boast in your lack because His abundance is about to be made manifest to display His glory. It will not be accredited to the wisdom or strength of men but to God alone!
