Has God spoken a promise to you? Have you received a word that has yet to come to pass? Do not let delay stop you from believing! There is a wonderful prayer in the Book of Mark that addresses unbelief,
Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
God understands that we are human that that miracles and promises can be hard for our minds to comprehend. He is happy to help us in every area that unbelief tries to creep in to steal our faith. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you in your unbelief. Then, as you move into believing, begin to agree with what He has spoken!
When you come into agreement with a promise then you become a partner in the journey. God invites you into one of the most intimate dances you will ever experience as you agree to follow His lead to the destination of “promise (desire) fulfilled”. The journey can be just as rewarding as the fulfillment. Have you ever danced with the one that you love? The dance is the most intimate part, not the completion of the dance. Your Bridegroom has asked you to dance with Him, to take His hand and let Him lead you to follow His steps as He holds you close. Say YES to His invitation!
Now…begin to rejoice because God never promises anything that He does not intend to fulfill. He cannot lie. Hope and trust in God has the word “Assurance” attached to it. You cannot separate assurance from your faith in God.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
If you have dormant promises, go revisit them because God may be extending His hand; asking you to partner with Him in the journey to fulfillment. Agree to journey (dance) with Him as He leads you on this intimate and personal journey. Dance with the One who assures you that He has good for you, plans for you, hope for you and a future filled with prosperity (blessings) for you!
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
