As I sat down to write this morning I immediately saw God planning many surprises for His kids in September. It was like watching parents preparing all of the surprise gifts that they plan to give their children on Christmas morning.
I personally love preparing surprises for my children. I am always taking note of both little and big things that they mention in passing that would bring them joy or that they dream of having. Then I take those secret wishes and do whatever I need to do to make them come true. I am always working behind the scene to fulfill their heart’s desire.
This is true with God as well! He is hears your prayers and even sees and takes note of your secret desires. He has been working behind the scene on your behalf to surprise you with what your heart has been desiring. He has angels on assignment to help fulfill both your needs and your longings. It is like parents preparing for Christmas morning…He is making the final touches, the final preparations for the great reveal!
Just as December is the end of the year for our calendar, our September is the end of the year on the Jewish calendar. Rosh Hashanah is the Jewish New Year (begins the evening of September 13th and ends the evening of September 15). December is our Christmas but this year I hear the Spirit saying that September will be His Christmas gift to His family.
Watch the second week of September…this will be the week before the Jewish New Year. I sense that many surprises will be revealed during this time period. Rejoice!
I keep hearing the chorus to the song, “Good, good Father” being sung as I write this. These words are your reality and your truth! Be blessed today because you have a good, good Father and you are loved by Him.
You’re a Good, Good Father
It’s who you are, It’s who you are,
It’s who you are
and I’m loved by you
It’s who I am, It’s who I am,
It’s who I am
Because You are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways
You are perfect in all of your ways to us
