Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.
In the wake of yet another shooting rampage here in the United States and all of the unrest throughout the world, God’s people have an unshakable promise that cannot be removed. Isaiah 54:10 assures us that His unfailing love and “covenant of peace” is irrevocable.
This truth is more than mere knowledge, it is an invitation into a life surrounded by unfailing love and peace. God’s children are to live in the abundance of His love and peace as well as in the security of His arms. We know that “in this world we will face trouble” but we are promised peace in the midst of that trouble because Jesus overcame the world and all the troubles within it.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Take heart God’s family and remain in His covenant of peace. HE HAS OVERCOME THIS WORLD!! This is not a time to view your life through the natural eyes but to allow your spirit to live in the higher reality that keeps you in perfect peace.
With God we are living and embracing a different reality then those who are of the world. There is nothing that can stop God from acting on behalf of His children. We are invited to live within the power and presence of His unfailing love and peace. Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13) therefore as we live within the embrace of His love then we know that victory is assured.
Here is our truth that gives us His peace,
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,p neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Pray for those in California and for all those affected by the troubles of this world, but be sure to remain in His love and peace and remember that He has overcome the world.
