There is an army that is about to emerge that will have had the “reckless love of God” fall upon them like fire from Heaven. This wild and untamable love of God will not only break the chains that once bound them but it will ignite an army of burning ones that will send the enemy running.
I was taken into a vision of people curled up in clay jars. They were immersed in oil and curled up like a baby growing in amniotic fluid in its mother’s womb. These people had grown in the oil of this tight, dark jar until there was virtually no room left.
Suddenly the jars broke open from the pressure of the people held within them. As the jars shattered, fire fell upon these oil soaked men, women, and children. The love of God came like fire from heaven and ignited them. As this happened they became like Gideon’s army, breaking their jars and releasing light that confused the enemy’s army, causing the soldiers to turn on themselves and be utterly destroyed.
This army of burning ones ran with an unbridled passion that was unstoppable. The reckless love of God had ruined them for anything less than pursuing Him with utter abandonment. Their desire had become Christ and Christ alone. Like a young man and woman in the exhilarating grip of first love they ran after after Jesus with undivided focus.
You may feel as though you have been in a dark and tight place that has left you little room to move. Yet in that place you have grown and become saturated with the oil of the Holy Spirit. You have been made ready to receive the fire.
Jars are about to break open and the fire of His reckless love will fall upon you. You will run with a company of burning ones that will be unstoppable in their pursuit of Him. This fire will defeat enemy armies and ignite those who touch you.
I hear the words from Zechariah 4:10,
“Who dares despise the day of small beginnings , since the seven eyes of the Lord that range throughout the earth will rejoice when they see the chosen capstone (plum line) in the hand of Zerubbabel?”
Every birthing had a small beginning and every movement began in the hidden place of prayer and being saturated in the oil of His Spirit. Do not despise the days of your preparation because suddenly you will emerge, covered in oil, and His fire will fall to ignite you with a love that burns with the intensity of His reckless love.
“…so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
Ephesians 3:17-19
