Oceans in the Desert

“There are times for the work of warfare and times for the work of ruling— now is the time for ruling.” –Larry Sparks

America— we prayed, we struck the ground, we gained the spiritual victory and now we must occupy that ground.

The government of God must now sit in the seats of authority given to us in Christ Jesus. When He ascended to His throne— we ascended into a place of authority with Him. Now we must occupy those seats and exercise our spiritual authority on earth as it is in Heaven!

This is not a time to forfeit the ground gained through assignments of “emotional defeat” (which leads to a deep physical weariness) but rather it is time to sit in the seats of victory that were gained prior to the U.S. election. God’s government has been called into session for such a time as this. The scepter has been extended— it is time to decree, time to exercise authority and time to rule from the seat of spiritual authority.

There is a spiritual “United Nations” that has gathered together to rule and reign with Christ Jesus. America is no longer standing alone but rather we stand as one with the Ecclesia of the nations of the world to decree righteousness, justice and liberty in Jesus. Together we will raise the standard of the Lord over America and over the nations. We will occupy the land that we have warred for!

Take your seats, sons of God! Touch the scepter and release the decree that delivers our nation and the nations of the world.

Esther said, “If it please the king, and if I have found favor with him, and if he thinks it is right, and if I am pleasing to him, let there be a decree that reverses the orders of Haman son of Hammedatha the Agagite, who ordered that Jews throughout all the king’s provinces should be destroyed. For how can I endure to see my people and my family slaughtered and destroyed?” Esther 8:5-6

We decree:

If it pleases our King, and we have found favor in your sight, if you find it right and we are pleasing to you— let there be a decree that reverses the orders of the evil one— the Haman spirit— that has ordered the destruction of our people and of Zion. He has ordered the destruction of righteous laws and leadership in our nation. How can we endure to see our people and families slaughtered and destroyed? Decree our deliverance, King Jesus!

Just as King Xerxes responded favorably to Esther, so will our God respond to us— His bride. Esther risked everything to approach the king (without an invitation) but we have not only been invited to approach Him but invited to sit with Him and reign with Him.

We are in a “for such a time as this” point in history. It is time to occupy and decree!
