Today I woke up to see a thick white fog outside my bedroom window. As I looked it suddenly became a blank canvas before my eyes. Then I heard the Spirit of the Lord say to me,
“Prophesy, to the blank canvas, the dreams that I’ve placed in your heart.”
As I began to speak out my dreams it became like paint on this white canvas. I began to dream personal dreams for my life, my husband, and my children; dreams for my city, my region, and my nation; dreams for God’s people; and dreams for the lost being saved, and the glory of the Lord filling the earth.
Then, I felt the breath of God breathe upon the dreams that I painted on this canvas and they suddenly came to life.
The Lord has placed dreams in your heart that were not meant to be contained or sealed up. They are like paint that is to be spread over the spiritual canvas that is before you. Speak them out, prophesy them, imagine them and let the dreams that have been sealed pour out before the Lord so that He might breathe life upon them. Let your imagination, which has been redeemed and sanctified, paint and create picture after picture of the dreams that have been buried deep within you.
This prophetic act will resurrect hope and resurrect faith. It will bring vision and clarity to your spiritual eyes. It will bring joy to your steps and it will clear the fog that has been around you.
I remember hearing a story many years ago of an evangelist who would lay on his bed and dream of standing before thousands of people and seeing them healed, saved, and delivered. He practiced dreaming with God daily and allowing his imagination to become a canvas that God breathed upon and brought the dreams to life. Today he is walking out those dreams as a reality.
You too, can dream beyond what your life currently looks like. As you dream with God it will stir up the gift of faith within you and begin to paint the blank canvas that is before you. Then the breath of God will bring it to life.
“May he give you what you desire and make all your plans succeed.” Psalm 20:4
Today begin to make a new habit of dreaming with God. Pour out your dreams like paint upon a blank canvas and watch them become your reality.
It is time for Ephesians 3:20-21 to become your testimony!
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.”
