A Time of Birthing God’s Promises

Kathi Pelton

The Spirit of the Lord spoke to me this morning two words, “May Flowers”.

I thought it was odd words as we are about to enter the Fall season here in North America. I waited longer and once again heard the words, “May Flowers

Then suddenly I saw the birthing that happens in the Spring season. I saw new life everywhere; lambs standing for the first time, calves leaping, fawns laying in grassy fields and spring flowers covering the landscape.

Though,in the natural landscape, the leaves are now beginning to turn red and gold before they fall to the ground and the green grass has turned brown from the summer months of heat, the Lord is saying,

“It’s the time of birthing the new.”

Like May flowers, we are entering a spiritual time of beauty and the birthing of “all things made new”.

“See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me.” Song of Songs 2:11-13

Then I saw the two words “May flowers” joined and they became one word that read, “Mayflower“. As I saw this I knew immediately that the Lord was saying that His people where coming upon new lands and uncharted new territories. It will be a time of “thanksgiving” and a time to restore God’s original intent over lives, people groups and lands.

As the two words became joined as one I understood that a time of restoring and uniting that which had been divided was upon us. Though the enemy is fiercely intent on bringing divisions between races, people groups and nations, God will use His people to restore the ancient breaches and rebuild the desolate cities.

Yesterday, a friend, whose house was heavily damaged in the floods in Texas posted pictures of the scriptures that her family had written on the walls of their home when they built it that had been covered by the drywall. As they tore out the damaged drywall the scriptures were rediscovered and renewed their hope. It became promises renewed over their lives and family.

This is such a prophetic picture of the old being torn down to rediscover the promises and “God’s original intent” over families and regions.

If you have promises and prophetic words that you have forgotten or have been covered up, now is the time of rediscovery and reclaiming those promises. It is the time of birthing the promises that you may have thought had died. Your Spring flowers and May flowers will now begin to appear.

Get ready for new chapters, new territories, new birth and the restoration of what the enemy has destroyed.

Do my words and articles encourage you? If so consider sowing a financial gift of thanksgiving into our ministry. To give go to:

One response to “A Time of Birthing God’s Promises”

  1. Kathi, i felt led to look up the meaning of Mayflower this afternoon. In my search i stumbled across History.com which says the Mayflower set sail from Plymouth, England in SEPTEMBER 1620. That’s 397 years ago this month. Not sure if you were aware of that but WOW!!!
